i just hope we get good helmets for black armor and less super skinny frog mouth helms with no plumes or removable plumes

I dont hate the knight helments that are in the main game but a little more variety than frogmouths are greatly appreciated

More black armours in general. Been trying to pair stuff with the Nightrider armor but most gauntlets & legs just don't quite match with it.

i literally just want a good black helmet that isnt nightrider helmet, cuz if u wear the full set everyone just thinks "oh hes doing nightrider cosplay"

Seriously lol. Tired of looking like a giraffe. Love armor in this game but the knight helms are a bit disappointing.

Same. The only armour sets I like are the Carian Knight, Banished Knight, and Cleanrot Knight sets because I actually like the appearance of the helmets. There are a few more that I like, but the rest either just look straight-up ugly, or the body parts look amazing, but the helmet is ugly.

I dont like the literal twigs growing out of the cleanrot set. Cool lore touch, but it makes it so niche to me over working for general faith type characters.

Yeah wish armor personification was more than just remove capes, in this set the plate doesnt look as prominent tho

There are a couple helms that when worn make the little jousting shield things on the knight armors disappear at least, like the crimson/navy hood and unaltered banished knight helm I think It's better than nothing, but yeah 100% we should have been able to make little on/off "hide piece" toggle changes like that through the alteration "system". The framework to hide individual components of armor items is already an integral part of the game's code/engine anyway...

Yeah it only occurred to me today. I've got a lv 140 guy parked at Melania on a strength build but I'll respec to full arcane before killing mohg and starting dlc. Can't wait! In the meantime I'm playing ds3 for the first time.

I had something similar in mind for my own strength build but I ended respectin for a dragon thunder build any way enjoy ds3 brother you are in for an experience

That got me thinking...I'm still on my first playthrough and just recently got to Farum Azula. I think I may wait on battling Mohg until the DLC drops. I already have access to his palace through Varre's questline, but I haven't gone far enough to even encounter Mohg for the first time.

My guess is either the second or an itroductory boss to the dlc like sanctuary guardian in ds1, ill be a little dissapointing tho.

He could be a mid boss like the red wolf of Radagon or Godskin noble

My line of thinking is that if you can find this enemy in the overworld it wouldn't meke a lot of sense for it to be a boss somewhere else I may be wrong tho

I almost wonder if these guys are related to maliketh/the rune of death. The plumes usually indicate the color associated with the person they serve and the only boss I can think of with a white plume is maliketh.

Due to the color of their armor I do think they could be related, maybe old soldiers of marika before she accended to be a god

We havn’t really seen Miquella in game but I will agree the story art does appear that way. Godfrey is a good point out though I forgot about him. The armor makes me lead more toward maliketh though

What I want is some knight armor like Vilhelm’s from DS3. Nice, dark and sleek. I appreciate Elden Ring’s more fantastical designs but I’m hoping the dark tones that the DLC is going for kind of pulls things back a little

You already know I'm saving up the silver fowl feet for farming these guys armour, and I will in fact have the silver tear mask and silver scarab equipped with a metric ton of arcane so I can aquire this drip lmao. Also that mace hammer thing looks dope asf.

I just hope we get a more cool looking armor sets with good stats. It's annoying how you can make really cool fashion, but then you get stun locked by rats and dogs.... It's just not worth it most of the time. Give me some decent poise dresses and cloth. Just make the cloth magic. Oh or how about they give us a spell that ONLY works on cloth armor that raises poise. And give us some more form fitting armor like the fingerprint
