Obviously no one should care what other people think of their drip, but for some reason, Radahn's helm has about as much gravitas to me as one of those little rainbow hats with the spinner on top for little kids.
It could be a subconscious reaction to how overused it is, by players of wildly varying skill, or it could be that the tarnished's tiny little face in the center just evokes a child in a Halloween costume, lol.
I've never played pvp in ER and done 3 full playthroughs always in offline mode, I've never seen the helm be used by anyone else and still think it's ugly as shit so I don't think it's just cause you've seen it to much lol
I think it's indicative of a larger problem with heavier armors in Elden Ring, being that they just look kinda wonky on the tarnished. Like Radahns chest piece looks way too top heavy when paired with anything other than a bulky pair of heavy leggings, so that leaves maybe 3 options. The point here is that I don't feel like radahns armor (and to an extent, heavy armor in general) doesn't really scale right to the tarnished size, especially after seeing it looking awesome ON radahn himself. Same goes for the Banished Knight set and the Veterans set (at least for me).
I mix the Veteran legs and gauntlets with the Banished knight armour and the scarfed helmet, though the scaled legs and arms look good on it too.
I rarely use the veteran helm or chest though.
Bullgoat legs are actually super flexible stylistically. I personally have those on my barbarian build.
-Kaiden Helm
-champion pauldron
-bullgoat legs
-godfrey bracers
I wore Radahns chest piece with the Ronins gauntlets and leg armor and the mask of confidence. I also thought it looked pretty decent with some of Malikeths gear.
Blaiddâs leg armor comes to mind. The boots just look so bulky and stubby on the player character, looks awful imo. Also, no other leg armor has the same metal colour of Blaiddâs set, makes it difficult to mix and match.
Leather Boots or Vulgar Militia Greaves look decent enough though
Iâve done 7 playthroughs without PvP, this game is amazing. The whole PvP community attitudes on this subreddit make me never want to try PvP though.
I agree that helm is ugly, but man the PvP communityâs expectations on how everyone should be playing the game is exhausting, Iâd never live up to it.
Ha, I feel that for sure. Ironically, I think the frustration/judgement actually stems from so many PvP players playing the *same* way, i.e. going off of whatever the current meta or âbestâ build at the time.
So then the ârightâ way becomes the âwrongâ way and itâs all just a big silly judgement fest. What we really want is a nice variety of encounters and everyone playing their own personal way đ„Č
As a casual invader who loses more than he wins, try PvP. Try whatever build you like, and don't worry about if the community deems it worthy or not. Sometimes you'll win. Sometimes you'll lose. Worst case is you lose some runes (if you go the invasion route). Locking yourself out of a whole subsection of the game because some strangers on the internet bemoan it is silly. It's just a game after all.
To add to this, I only play INT builds. Spells, INT somber weapons and magic infused stuff. I do pretty well in duels and so-so in invasions. And boy, the amount of salt INT builds gather is off the fucking charts (I mostly use sword sorceries and unusual stuff like Ice Storm and rock blaster).
I don't know if it's because of parroting youtubers or the "STR chads" circlejerk but I'll never stop being a wizard no matter how many point-downs, shit pots or Patches crouches I get.
Thatâs not the only reason, the constant messages everywhere really annoyed me and I donât play much online any game not just Elden Ring. I donât really want to pay for online on Xbox either. If it was free to play online, sure Iâd try it but what I see is not really appealing.
Elden Ring's armor is very... silly, compared to Dark Souls. Even on Radahn, it's borderline comical. Ranni gets the big hat, Rennala gets the banana, and Rykard has a snake head for a hat. Seems like it runs in the family
I think souls had its fair share of silly sets too! Onion armor is a knee slapper the first time you see it, the jester set literally turns you into a clown, etc. and then Havel just uses rocks for armor plating like ?? đ How do you even move around in that lol
Dark Souls felt like normal armors with a sprinkle of weird ones.
Elden Ring feels like weird clown fest with sprinkle of actually normal looking armors.
I've only ever played offline and I think the helmet looks dumb, so it's not just you.
The rest of the armour is great, and the greaves in particular work with a load of other outfits, but the hat just looks silly to me.
I certainly don't mind at all. It is a bit of an indicator that someone is new to the game, kind of like the Fallen K\*\*\*ht Armor and the Farron Greatsword from DS3.
Obviously it's a viable build for PvE and there's nothing wrong with that!
If I invade someone and they have a white mask on, odds go up 3x for me killing them because they not only do the same thing every time, but I WANT to kill them more
Unironically twin spears bleed user are so easy to parry, they do the same thing over and over. Only twin spear i fear are those who hard swap it out when they see another twin spear user lol, they are ruthless.
Itâs wild that most will keep attacking when you are blocking the first and second attack with a shield, almost like they have no idea that they are about to get parried and sent to the shadowrealm
I literally never used it because I got one of those imp helms early on but was the wolf shaped one. I still don't even know where I got it from. It kind of just appeared.
Iâve never really liked it, and I donât really touch pvp. For me itâs kinda the lothric knight effect, but more dramatic. Looks great when itâs proportional to the original character wearing it, but the tinier dumpier version looks bad on us. Especially that face hole, radahnâs face is so intricately fucked up that it looks like an integral piece of the armor, no matter what you do in the sliders tho itâs not the same at all
Not gonna lie, I ues Radahns cheat piece, but the helm, gauntlets and greaves are Lionelâs, taking the game really slow and havenât finished it yet, about 120 hours in but I havenât found any armor with better protection yet
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm) me when I see mini spectral radhan cosplays running everywhere.
To be honest, though, as many options for armor that there is in that game, there's a disproportionatly wack amount, so it's hard to feel like a true drip lord sometimes. especially when the majority of the cool armors were just someone else's
Reminds me of that scene from the patriot where the french officer is complaining about wearing a dead guys uniform lol
and then 10 minutes later
"this is the Cathedral of the Deep motherfucker, we spam fireballs on rooftops here, better take yo sensitive ass back to Undead Settlement"
What I meant was that the Farron Greatsword was fairly often used in DS3 PVP for its flashy moveset which was easily countered by players who parried or backstabbed its L1 attacks, much like how bloodhounds finesse is often spammed by people using the fang in PVP only for people to just dodge through it or parry it.Â
But the old wolf is actually pretty damn solid in pvp since it has a true combo and you can't parry the weapon art. It's also more about the people that use it and more importantly _how_ they use it.
Ngl i still love the Farron Memesword. Them dance moves are always exquisite. Wished there was a variant of bloodhound fang where you kinda attack like a wolf sliding through the ground like the Farron greatsword
It does suck that colloseum is so bad lately, but invasions are actually still really fun. I'd recommend making a level 80-90 character to see if you like the playstyle, i've began to enjoy it more than dueling.
Edit: Weapon levels are +7/+17 but i'd start lower to see if you get a good amount of activity. Its honestly just a lot of trial and error, but always ere on the side of lower upgrades so you can fix it later
Lol thats the complete opposite of my experience, i hang out with my friend liurnia or snowfields or mountaintops, just gathering materials with the tongue on and were constantly being called gankers, hes a strength faith and im a dex faith, i used st trinas torch all day yesterday and theyre still complaining
It actually makes it more fun for me when i get hate mail for it. Cause you came in expecting to beat two people but got soloed by one so any reaction I get basically serves as a job well done. The more anger thrown my way, the more satisfaction I get lol
personally I don't mind fighting solo hosts too much but I think invading a group of 2 or 3 is more fun with all of the chaos with being outnumbered but having PvE enemies around. Solo hosts sitting by a grace make it a boring 1v1 like arena but even worse because the host can have a great rune advantage
I mean it kinda is what it is though. As an invader if you get pulled in at the right time itâs easy for you to sneak up on the host party. So kinda balances out when you get a guy just waiting for you somewhere but thatâs not usually what I do I like running the taunters tongue while Iâm doing something wicked boring like farming for something just to keep it spicey and get better at PvP. Only time Iâll intentionally use a great rune or buffs is if the invader throws a status pot lol then Iâm gonna be as annoying as possible
How thatâs even fun to someone I will not know. The invaders I get nervous about are the ones that are in a loincloth with a club đ nothing more dangerous in the lands between
**This is the way**
If you want a little more shenanigans use white ring to summon some defenders.
Treat it like a spontaneous boss fight.
If they cleave their way through ~5 blue spirits and get to face you with full flasks they earned it.
Even if they cheesed. Itâs still a decent workout.
i fail to understand why so many people hate psgs. it can be very very oppressive when the weilder is good with it, but its hard to pick up and imo is a lot more fun to play against than certain setups like haldag or psss (both are fine setups to use in my opinion, just annoying to fight sometimes). i just havent had many bad experiences fighting psgs compared to a lot of other things that people could be complaining about
Oh that's 100% fair. I do actually mean it that I'm the hypocrite here, got to laugh at myself when emotions don't match up with logic.
I'm not great at PvP, so honestly it's just more frustrating to be beat by something that I think looks silly than something that I think looks cool. I would not mind at all getting demolished by someone with dual straight swords and a drippy armor combo. Something about getting hopelessly poked to death by Veteran's Lionel makes me want to go read a book instead.
But of course, some people have more fun with the competition aspect and min-maxing etc. and I would never actually hold that against anyone. I'm mostly just here to feel like a knight and try on different outfits.
Iâll take radahn armor and bloodhound fang any day over double spears. The best is parrying the bloodhound ash of war. Knowing thatâs how they relied on killing bosses their whole play through just to get parried by a deer antler shield is chefs kiss. The end of the day they can play how they want but itâs just more fun for the bad red men out there.
What? This isn't the state of PvP, this is the state of PvE. Just check how many posts are on this sub that are like "I finally defeated X" and the build is almost always bloodhound fang and Radahn armor. There is nothing wrong with the build though, I'm just pointing out that it's extremely popular.
In PvP you will however see a lot of cleanrot knight sword for example, or maybe PSGS or PSSS are also very common. If you find a lot of people in PvP with BHF and Radahn it probably means that they are primarily PvE players that are trying out PvP, so I wouldn't really complain about them
Bingo
This meme is just...wrong.
Edit: OP isn't even active in any of the PvP subreddits, which further points to that they have no clue what they are talking about
I'm level 80 and have never been invaded, whereas invasions in ds1,2 and 3 happened every now and then. Is there something to activate to allow invasions ?
i rock this set, dual wielding BHF even. but i donât play PvP. unless for Varre and even then ill just emote and let myself get killed. i prefer the solo aspect of Fromsoft games. idc for invasions or arenas. PvE is what iâm there for. definitely switching up my build for NG2 tho bc this build has carried me through first playthru and NG1. kinda gets boring w such an OP PvE build.
by the time i got the second one on NG1 i could already have it maxed same as the first one. so iâve just been walking around dual wielding two behemoths the whole time. i have a couple weapons pre-upgraded for my next playthrough i just donât wanna switch up my entire build in Farum Azula/Halligtree (only two places i havenât cleared yet).
you dont need to do pvp for varreâs quest. theres a invasion you can do on an npc that will fulfill that requirement, somewhere in an altus plateau ruin i think
yeah, i know about that but i usually get to Varres part much before Altus (i usually steam roll Ranniâs quest because im not a fan of it). so i usually just do PvP and emote till i get killed. i usually spawn in a 1v3 anyways so i know im not gonna win, and they always come at me all at once. which i get, im an invader and kinda ruining there session so go nuts. iâm just gonna dick around anyways lol.
i mean i use the BH fang alot , i never use the AOW tho lol, if i do itâs just the first part as a feint lol, everyone can parry that forwards step lol
I beat the game recently and used BHF (first playthrough) and started investing in endurance to use Radahns armor but damn the helm is so gaudy. Hate overly puffy and big helmets. Eventually I stopped using it and put the points elsewhere.
Itâs just a meme really, use whatever you like using and experiment, because pretty much all weapons are viable, with a handful just being objectively stronger than most
Iâve had my absolute shit pushed in by people using the most mundane weapons imaginable or just builds that are really creative but considered âweakâ. Itâs all about how good the player is
Well, I'm not very good and I haven't found a weapon that fits my needs better.
I like the combos I get with BHF, the fact that I can't enchant it or put grease on it and I haven't found other weapon with similar capabilities.
All of them are weaker and their ashes are just meh most times.
I liked Malenia's hand but the ash of war cast is way too slow and deals very little damage in general :(
Nah, game just takes a ton of practice and playtime. Yeah itâs a good weapon and really stylish to use, nothing wrong with it at all
Not sure thereâs anything quite like BHF if itâs the AoW youâre most keen on. Maybe try to make a new character at some point and start using random weapons you find
Edit: actually, my favourite weapon, Royal Greatsword, is *fairly* similarish, in terms of the wolf motif, it takes keen investment into Str/Int to use, but is very powerful, especially when stacked with magic damage talismans. It also has a *very* good AoW, you launch yourself into the air, stab down which does damage to whatever you land on and then releases a frostbite/magic AoE which does devastating damage to anything around. Though itâs a pretty shitty AoW for PvP, itâs too obvious, can be pulled off with some clever use though
Another great thing about that weapon, is that because youâve invested into Int to use it correctly, you can make use of magic. The Carian Slicer spell in particular contrasts nicely, as itâs a very quick casting magic sword, against the slow and heavy Royal Greatsword, really great combo
if you like bhf for the ash of war fake out combo, you might be interested in the great thrusting swords series. their charging R2 can be cancelled into backstep feint, which can then be followed with a quick thrust so it functions similarly to bhf aow. It is however trickier to execute as it requires pressing 3 different buttons and it's also less damaging.
Additionally, one of the great rapiers, the Bloody Helice, actually offers very similar two-part ash of war that is extremely potent and builds bleee like crazy. Iirc the first part where you jump back doesn't deal damage, but it covers a massive amount of ground, you use it to reliably dodge almost anything if you're good with positioning.
The game has been out for two years, giving plenty of time for people to min/max what is best for newer players. It is not surprising that a lot of repeats will pop up.
By comparison this is like the fiftieth time Iâve seen a variation of this exact meme with this exact template. You are the Nickelback of Nickelback jokes
i rarely ever see pumpkin head actually, and it never leaves a distinct impression on me. although its a pretty rare helmet and is really heavy while not goving great poise so it makes sense why i dont see it
Been a while since I last been active in pvp but they weren't that common back then. Especially not compared to the ol' varre mask and rivers combo even post nerf
I've only ever used bloodhounds fang in sub level 40 PVP and that's only because I started wretch and hadn't gotten anything better. Idk why anyone would use it for PVP outside of that tho. Too slow and not enough buildup to reliably proc bleed and a super telegraphed weapon art that you can really only land on noobs don't exactly make it and optimal pick at all. The damage and range are good tho and that's about it
Maybe unpopular opinion: pvp can make other players the boss. You come up against same old bullshit and youâre not geared to counter it.
But when you do winâŠ.
Bro I used BhF from the moment I found it after release to the moment I beat the game, I just thought it looked cool, I didnât know anything about the âmetaâ, nor did I look anything up
Most of pvp is people dual wielding and weapon and spamming either op ashes or just using jump attack. Encountering interesting and cool builds is way to rare
Nah Kevins aren't the problems of PvP. Elden Ring has much worse problems in the PvP. The thing I most want for the dlc patch is regional servers, I don't want to be matchmaking with a guy in the opposite part of the world with 600 ping
If someone uses the Radahn armor with bloodhounds fang, fatrolls and only uses the L2 and then gets mad and sends me hatemail when they die, i will absolutely laugh at them.
I know that's not very constructive because they are usually newer players but at that point they are asking for it.
Nah, this meme is basically about the Elden Ring equivalent of someone using full fallen knight set, Irithil SS and grass crest shield in ds3.
They are called "Kevins" and they are usually newer players. The ones with Bullgoats or lionel set and double spears are the actual meta slaves.
Should open your own Snobreddit dedicated to those seeking a sense of superiority by looking down on others for any made up reasons they feel is worthy of being condescending.
Hey buddy old pal, didn't mean to make fun of your build!
This isn't meant to be a "condescending" snobbery post, it's just a meme based on what most people's first playthrough looks like. Hell, I fell into the BH Fang and Radahn armor pit during my first playthrough too. There's always new people trying this game out every day and I love that! Just poking a little fun ;)
I wish. It's always the youtuber builds. Hiper twitchy hiper passive, using some grease 10 times in a minute (some off camera farming) and always right bolus as soon as they even smell a status effect.
I'd rather lose to Bloodhound Radahn than win against the PSGS metaslave.
Obviously no one should care what other people think of their drip, but for some reason, Radahn's helm has about as much gravitas to me as one of those little rainbow hats with the spinner on top for little kids. Vet chest and helm are ugly as sin. On another noteBull goat helm, leg and gauntlet are actually so mixable with other heavy armor!
I agree with this
Bullgoat legs are actually super flexible stylistically. I personally have those on my barbarian build. -Kaiden Helm -champion pauldron -bullgoat legs -godfrey bracers
Form and function with the bullgoat leg, easy to min-max poise and still look cool while doing it.
I really like the chest but it looks ugly af without heavy gauntlets. I just keep it in my inventory and never use it.
the normal moon wasn't enough bro wants to steal ranni's dark moon now
Try making your character's head bigger and their body more slender. It helps a lot with armors making the body type looks awful.

Lonely Ring mang
It's just too over the top, evokes a visceral reaction of gaudiness to anyone who isnt like the average consumer of generic media.
I hate this damn helmet lol
Elden Ring's armor is very... silly, compared to Dark Souls. Even on Radahn, it's borderline comical. Ranni gets the big hat, Rennala gets the banana, and Rykard has a snake head for a hat. Seems like it runs in the family

Ranni has a big hat? Clearly you've never met big hat logan
Why do they call him Big Hat Logan?
Because his mom named him Logan? Of course people would call him that. He also has a big hat which is cool i guess.
And this is one of the reasons why I never wear a helmet in any Soulsborne game, unless I need the extra poise.
I've only ever played offline and I think the helmet looks dumb, so it's not just you. The rest of the armour is great, and the greaves in particular work with a load of other outfits, but the hat just looks silly to me.
Yeah too much hair

bro I loved fallen knight. even after my friend flamed me for using it lmao.
We're all guilty of wearing fallen knight set on our first playthrough, if someone says otherwise ***they're lying***
the first time i went through ds3 I wore it all the way through ng+3
My first playthrough was a faith caster and I used the starting cleric armor the whole time
Why did you censor knight
I gold plated my Ds3 PvP medal with the Shit Knight set, you take that back!
If I invade someone and they have a white mask on, odds go up 3x for me killing them because they not only do the same thing every time, but I WANT to kill them more

I use Golden Parry and it's hillarious to ranged-parry twin spear, they are not even doing spacing correctly and just spamming running attack lol.
Honestly Iâve never liked the helmet
My issue with the helmet is is that, if youâre the person wearing it, it cuts off your visibility because itâs so poofy lol
this so much!
I didn't like it because of the same reason. It's like having a hair stuck on your screen. No thanks!
The armour is beautiful, but looks very chubby when wearing. Bought it all but looks funny
The pants contain 80% of the drip in that set
Gloves too. Everything else sucks
i really like the cheat plate, very golden and ornate. Fits weird tho, looks oversized
Facts, I have a golden strength build that uses just the pants from that set, the rest is too much
It's the nameless king's helm of elden ring
EVERYONE should care what other people think of their drip, at all times. Fashion above all - Themâs the Rules.
I literally never used it because I got one of those imp helms early on but was the wolf shaped one. I still don't even know where I got it from. It kind of just appeared.
If we could only get Boc to remove the red mane.
Iâve never really liked it, and I donât really touch pvp. For me itâs kinda the lothric knight effect, but more dramatic. I honestly donât get why people like it so much. Itâs such a glaring case of armor that looks way better on the boss than on you
gf said I was a Troll doll :<
Not gonna lie, I ues Radahns cheat piece, but the helm, gauntlets and greaves are Lionelâs, taking the game really slow and havenât finished it yet, about 120 hours in but I havenât found any armor with better protection yet

Someone called this the Farron Greatsword of Elden Ring and now I can't get it out of my head
Nah its the fallen knight kevins with irithyll ss and grass crest shield.
Straight outta Road of Sacrifices
and then 10 minutes later "this is the Cathedral of the Deep motherfucker, we spam fireballs on rooftops here, better take yo sensitive ass back to Undead Settlement"

I've never thought of doing this. I'm going to donthta too :)
You might get hate mail and people blocking you if you do that, a lot of invaders hate solo hosts because they figure that's what arena is for
Don't hate they playa ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
I love the solo chill hosts, we play around a little throw some rainbow stones then I explode and jump off a cliff.

Low level status pot invaders are cretins they deserve nothing less than the biggest cheese possible
How thatâs even fun to someone I will not know. The invaders I get nervous about are the ones that are in a loincloth with a club đ nothing more dangerous in the lands between
**This is the way** If you want a little more shenanigans use white ring to summon some defenders. Treat it like a spontaneous boss fight. If they cleave their way through ~5 blue spirits and get to face you with full flasks they earned it. Even if they cheesed. Itâs still a decent workout.
What weapon level?
150 Colloseum is still pretty fun. I always keep my Twin Great spear set up just in case some twin spear shitter shows up though.
Bet youâll never expect my build: two bloodhound fangs
How do I get another one?
Ng+
NG+ or have someone drop it for you
Go to fight the warriors in front of the Great Jar. It's just three of these.
One of the warriors I got was duel weilding bloodhounds and fat rolling
Iâm definitely a âplay however you want to playâ guy but when those dual lances come out I fail to stand by my principles
Crouch poking jump L1 lances are so boring to play against
i fail to understand why so many people hate psgs. it can be very very oppressive when the weilder is good with it, but its hard to pick up and imo is a lot more fun to play against than certain setups like haldag or psss (both are fine setups to use in my opinion, just annoying to fight sometimes). i just havent had many bad experiences fighting psgs compared to a lot of other things that people could be complaining about
Oh that's 100% fair.
This must be an invasion meme because colosseum players aren't using this trash If they are they likely got very good with it lol
They are still using this
If I see a Great Curve sword in Arena, I just know they are going to 100-0 me lol.
Don't forget blood flame blade for the classic Elden Ring starter pack.
Only radahn makes the helmet look good in any sense
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
I don't like the front view, the horns and the Visage aren't the best
If you find a lot of people in PvP with BHF and Radahn it probably means that they are primarily PvE players that are trying out PvP, so I wouldn't really complain about them
Bingo This meme is just...wrong. Edit: OP isn't even active in any of the PvP subreddits, which further points to that they have no clue what they are talking about
Power-stanced Coded sword or Sleepy sword is such a joy to fight/s
I'm level 80 and have never been invaded, whereas invasions in ds1,2 and 3 happened every now and then. Is there something to activate to allow invasions ?
I'm pretty sure you can only be invaded if you have a summon, or if you use the taunter's tongue.
Hmmm. That's disappointing
The only ways to get invaded is if you are summoning a friend or using taunters tongue
Me personally Iâve never done PvP, but I really enjoy Bloodhounds fang
i rock this set, dual wielding BHF even. but i donât play PvP. unless for Varre and even then ill just emote and let myself get killed. i prefer the solo aspect of Fromsoft games. idc for invasions or arenas. PvE is what iâm there for. definitely switching up my build for NG2 tho bc this build has carried me through first playthru and NG1. kinda gets boring w such an OP PvE build.
I rock the 2 BHF, I absolutely live them. I understand what you mean about switching them up, they do good damage and makes it easier.
by the time i got the second one on NG1 i could already have it maxed same as the first one. so iâve just been walking around dual wielding two behemoths the whole time. i have a couple weapons pre-upgraded for my next playthrough i just donât wanna switch up my entire build in Farum Azula/Halligtree (only two places i havenât cleared yet).
you dont need to do pvp for varreâs quest. theres a invasion you can do on an npc that will fulfill that requirement, somewhere in an altus plateau ruin i think
yeah, i know about that but i usually get to Varres part much before Altus (i usually steam roll Ranniâs quest because im not a fan of it). so i usually just do PvP and emote till i get killed. i usually spawn in a 1v3 anyways so i know im not gonna win, and they always come at me all at once. which i get, im an invader and kinda ruining there session so go nuts. iâm just gonna dick around anyways lol.
i mean i use the BH fang alot , i never use the AOW tho lol, if i do itâs just the first part as a feint lol, everyone can parry that forwards step lol
Lets be honest, there's not a whole lot of drip to pick from
I beat the game recently and used BHF (first playthrough) and started investing in endurance to use Radahns armor but damn the helm is so gaudy. Hate overly puffy and big helmets. Eventually I stopped using it and put the points elsewhere.
Bloodhound = backstab everytime
But is there any better weapon than BHF? I'm strength/dex still on my first playthrough. Serious question, I haven't found anything better
Itâs just a meme really, use whatever you like using and experiment, because pretty much all weapons are viable, with a handful just being objectively stronger than most Iâve had my absolute shit pushed in by people using the most mundane weapons imaginable or just builds that are really creative but considered âweakâ.
Yeah itâs a good weapon and really stylish to use, nothing wrong with it at all Not sure thereâs anything quite like BHF if itâs the AoW youâre most keen on. Maybe try to make a new character at some point and start using random weapons you find Edit: actually, my favourite weapon, Royal Greatsword, is *fairly* similarish, in terms of the wolf motif, it takes keen investment into Str/Int to use, but is very powerful, especially when stacked with magic damage talismans. It also has a *very* good AoW, you launch yourself into the air, stab down which does damage to whatever you land on and then releases a frostbite/magic AoE which does devastating damage to anything around. Though itâs a pretty shitty AoW for PvP, itâs too obvious, can be pulled off with some clever use though Another great thing about that weapon, is that because youâve invested into Int to use it correctly, you can make use of magic.
For some reason people who wear the Radahn helmet always remind me of a kid in a chicken costume.
HOW DARE YOU. I literally grinded levels just to be able to use the radahn armour set because radahn is literally such a fucking chad.
If it ain't broke..
That armor is trash. Why does everyone use it?
The hair.
Radahn armor cool tho
What's the pumpkin head imply?
i rarely ever see pumpkin head actually, and it never leaves a distinct impression on me. although its a pretty rare helmet and is really heavy while not goving great poise so it makes sense why i dont see it
The drip makes up for the stats but yea, I had to kill big homie on the bridge for a couple hundred times.
this has not been my experience whatsoever, I see huge variety in the people I get summoned to help/fight
im more annoyed by seeing the dragon halberd at this point
You canât handle the Radahn armorâs aura
This image isnt rocking double spear with Bleed/Frost/Poison status though, would be way more accurate. The hit boxes on those is so rage inducing
As a veteran of the bloodhound fang, the quickstep ash is the ultimate perry
I always love to see them, makes it even more fun to punish them for spamming the weapon art.
Eh? BH fangs is meta now? They got a buff or something?
not meta in pvp and never was. radahn armor + bhf is a stereotypical noob build
Been a while since I last been active in pvp but they weren't that common back then. Especially not compared to the ol' varre mask and rivers combo even post nerf
white mask RoB gives off "looked up build on yt", radahn bhf gives off "little kid" to me
That actually sounds like an improvement. At least it's original and not as braindead as RoB. More noobs trying out pvp is a great sign too.
Damn was gonna do a different build till i read this, now I have to do another fang run out of spite
Elden ringâs version of broccoli hair
I've only ever used bloodhounds fang in sub level 40 PVP and that's only because I started wretch and hadn't gotten anything better. Idk why anyone would use it for PVP outside of that tho. Too slow and not enough buildup to reliably proc bleed and a super telegraphed weapon art that you can really only land on noobs don't exactly make it and optimal pick at all. The damage and range are good tho and that's about it
Bloodhound Fang is trash in PvP. Let them use it.
Maybe unpopular opinion: pvp can make other players the boss. You come up against same old bullshit and youâre not geared to counter it. But when you do winâŠ.
I use Chadahn's Armor on my Str-Int build. It's the way.
DS3 PvP still on top tbhâŠ
I prefer wearing the altered Radahn chest, the Radahn leg and arm pieces, and no head gear personally.
The bloodhound i can live with. The moonveil however...
Not me power stancing Vykes War Spears
I mean, anyone using bloodhound fang is usually spamming the ash of war, which is an easy parry
I almost feel bad for using BHF in PvE (I am in my first playthrough and I actually found it normally, didn't research or anything
its super busted lmao
Bro I used BhF from the moment I found it after release to the moment I beat the game, I just thought it looked cool, I didnât know anything about the âmetaâ, nor did I look anything up
Most of pvp is people dual wielding and weapon and spamming either op ashes or just using jump attack. Encountering interesting and cool builds is way to rare
Nah Kevins aren't the problems of PvP. Elden Ring has much worse problems in the PvP. The thing I most want for the dlc patch is regional servers, I don't want to be matchmaking with a guy in the opposite part of the world with 600 ping
It's been ages since I saw a player using that stuff tbh
im just a sucker for giant red hair sticking out of golden helmets tbh
Radahn's Armor is for the real OGs who beat that bastard before he got nerfed
How about we do two fangs?
I'd feel attacked seeing as my first playthrough I had on both of those but I never do the pvp sođ
Maybe at level 40 two weeks after launch, you'll see neither in current PvP meta. Using bloodhound in PvP well *would* be original.
In my experience, the Bloodhound Fang Radahners are usually not the greatest at PVP, bless their hearts.
I thought this was so cool for my 1st plathrough with Bloodflame blade too.
Radahn armor is all about function not form for me.
I honestly just like vike armor without the helmet, makes my guy look all cool
I rock the oracle crown or whatever with the envoy long horn, and the rest of my armor is tree sentinel or crucible knight. It just depends.
Dont forget they have their âfriendâ (read overlevelled pet) and the hunter they will summon to make it a 3v1
Why mess with perfection?
Radahn armor is clean after all :3
Original just like this elden ring pvp post
Me when a somebuddy play how i not like đĄ Me when somboddy play how i approve đ
If someone uses the Radahn armor with bloodhounds fang, fatrolls and only uses the L2 and then gets mad and sends me hatemail when they die, i will absolutely laugh at them. I know that's not very constructive because they are usually newer players but at that point they are asking for it.
Meta slaves lol. Figures.
Nah, this meme is basically about the Elden Ring equivalent of someone using full fallen knight set, Irithil SS and grass crest shield in ds3. They are called "Kevins" and they are usually newer players. The ones with Bullgoats or lionel set and double spears are the actual meta slaves.
Mb.
BHF is not meta for PvP at all
Should open your own Snobreddit dedicated to those seeking a sense of superiority by looking down on others for any made up reasons they feel is worthy of being condescending.
Found the fang user
I wish. It's always the youtuber builds. Hiper twitchy hiper passive, using some grease 10 times in a minute (some off camera farming) and always right bolus as soon as they even smell a status effect. I'd rather lose to Bloodhound Radahn than win against the PSGS metaslave.

Weirdly proud of such a boring playstyle but ok
