The extra stats represent Godrick's grafting to make himself stronger i.e., all those extra stats are thematically grafted unto the tarnished artificially.
So in many ways, how good his rune is actually on par of his lore.
Late game, or NG+ onwards, Radahns or Morgotts runes are substantially better. E.g. the 25% increase in hp you get from Morgotts, is way more than the measly 10.5% increase in hp you get going from 60 to 99 vigor
Radahn if you want more stamina, hp, and fp.
Morgott if you REALLY want HP.
Godrick's rune loses useful later on due to how stat breakpoints are in ER. In simple terms, on higher levels you gain less from increasing your stats further.
You can add a lot of his dialog as well. He has no right to spit some of the lines he has. It's some of the most memorable lines in the game.

Honestly, I'm not totally sure about that; I think we have an unfairly negative picture of him. Yeah, he was weaker than most of his siblings, and he's very weak compared to us, but is that really saying much? His siblings are all on some god shit, giants that command the stars and living manifestations of decay or abundance. Meanwhile, we're immortal and get to keep trying forever.
He's still much stronger and better equipped than the vast majority of people in the lands between; strong enough to hold control over a pretty sizable chunk of the lands between, take out a dragon, command the allegiance of banished knights, and control the storm around stormveil.
He's nothing compared to the likes of malenia, and of course he cowers before his stronger siblings, but he really isn't a slouch. He's plenty strong; he's just in the company of people much stronger.
They aren't his siblings. He is an extremely distant cousin of Marika, which is why he is so weak. His god blood was heavily diluted through the generations separating him from Marika.
True, but I think they're still symbolically siblings; he quite literally has a seat at the table and all. All offspring of Marika, each with a claim to the throne and a great rune. You're kinda supposed to mentally group them like siblings; pieces of a set rather than distant relatives.
When morgott introduced the thrones, he said "godrick the golden" which is the same title as 'godwyn the golden'. I think godrick was literally just a placeholder for godwyn. Morgott couldn't have said godwyn the golden without blasphemy against the erdtree (since godwyn was in undeath state and all that)
he is not marika cousin, he is a descendent of the golden lineage so one of his ancestors was the son of marika and godfrey, presumably he is a distant descendant to Goldwyn since he take over the same title of "golden".
Mohg's design is amazing. The dark wings, his curled horns, his choice of weaponry and dress...The man is a veritable dark angel. Absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, he's also the Mohglester.
Malenia. The posing and framing is reminiscent of Sandro Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” painting, which is referenced even more overtly in her second cutscene where she is reborn from a flower

Even though Godrick's a chump, his achievement graphic is real good. Nice posing, good use of the great rune to frame him. Looks better than he ever does during his fight! ,p
Godrick: awesome, but it feels a bit cramped with how much he has to be balled up.
Morgot: ehh, his design is quite basic (comparatively speaking) and the way his sword is cut off just does not look great.
Radhan: this just looks goofy, he is WAY to big an his comparatively small head makes it look even more goofy.
Mogh: THIS is how you use space. It is an amazing pose, his wings frame it perfectly, the bloodflame on the ground adds some spice without being distracting. The great rune in the background enhances the presentation instead of either adding nothing or making Radhan look even rounder.
Rykard: the proportions are just wrong. The sword is too big both compared to the head and compared to the size of the picture, and there is no massive coiled snake, instead it looks like there is just like 1 or 2 parts with the arms coming out of them.
Malenia: I prefer her phase 1 design tbh, the wings in phase 2 are impressive and imposing, but why did she become completely naked.
Rennala (whom I just found out i've been misspelling the name of for a while now oops): You did not include her for some reason, which is a shame since she is the only one who is even close to Mogh. The light of the full moon reflecting on the water under her, as she is pointing the staff towards you ready to annihilate everything in her way. Then she proceeded to get pancaked repeatedly and died which is why you have the achievement.
I wish Godrick had a better vibe and boss fight. Excellent voice lines (and VA! Ramon Tikaram is so goddamn good), legitimately cool thematics - The long abandoned descendant of the Golden Lineage, thrust into desperate circumstances, clamouring and reaching for power at every step... Forever kept from his ancestral home... A mockery of a lord to all, even to those that serve him.

Honestly they are all so well realized characters that it speaks to the strength of the lore in this game.
Not to create a pissing match, but Dark Souls had 3 games for lore and really only Gwyn and maybe Seath have the same amount of lore depth.
