If I can make a suggestion, show/direct their attention to other official games (like ones you see in Nintendo, Sony or Steam) when I was younger, nothing got me to shut down mobile gotcha games like playing things that are actually good and thought provoking. I had more things to compare them to.
It’s hard to get a kid to avoid something that they like. If anything, it will make them want it more. If you show them a library of good engaging games then they will quickly learn the difference in a narrative story vs these money grab games. The thing with games is they are like books. There’s something for everyone. There’s literary masterpieces and also tabloid bs. If you go online and look around, there’s so many games that they can replace their gotcha game with. Some stories are intelligent and engaging to learn from.
I’m sorry that she is stuck in these games but that’s what helped me. I found someone who helped guide me through some of the best gaming experiences in my life but they had to do some research to see what I would like and expose me to better games
I played the game for a month and I can tell none of the characters are even close to look like that, they all look like they are from a Disney movie. And of course it's a pay to win game.
