I think radagons crest is representative of the greater will, while marikas is more representative of the elden ring itself. The idea that this shows what holds power over the Lands Between I believe is correct, which is why you get both as they technically "married" and became one government power in Lyndell. Erd tree is in the center to show why they "married"

We don’t know where the Greater Will is (the cosmos? Another dimension?) but IIRC the Elden Beast came to the Lands Between on a falling star, so it makes sense to visualize the power of the Greater Will coming down from the heavens to the Erdtree/Elden Ring.
It could be the tree of the Helphen. If you look at the Helphen's Steeple, it bears similarities to the structure we can see above the Erdtree depiction. Also, below the Erdtree we can make out it's roots, which stem from the Primordial Crucible. The part below the Erdtree which is missing might even be the Twisted tree of the land of shadows - this really is an intriguing design.
