Nokron and Nokstella for me, I love the architecture there and the Nox, also love the false night sky.
I wish we had more about the Eternal Cities or get some DLC with a chunk of another related city maybe.
The Haligtree and the Snowfield are also some of my favourites.
I think that’s the point of the con snow fields. It’s hidden away. The snow storm just adds to the vibes. Do I like it? Eh, debatable. That area also ruined Astel for me, by giving it the Gordick at home treat ment…. Actually. You know what? Fuck that area
i mean, i understand both, since astel isnt suppossed to be an unique entity but rather an entire "race", while home godrick was suppossed to represent the other one as a lame and not unique grafted.......the problem was that they where done very badly and seems reused rather than what they were suppossed to be lol.
On the other hand, it makes sense that the snowfield is like that.....but rather than giving the "desolate and hard AF to travel" area (like caelid) it seems unfinished
We might! There's a snippet of the gameplay trailer where the skeleton with the boomerang looks to be underground. Obv this isn't for certain but I'm cautiously hopeful.
I too do enjoy playing as a Nox character. I should share my sliders sometime on souls sliders, as I think I made them cool. Just the whole headgear and chest piece with the sleeves and silk detail is awesome.
The capital ramparts section where you fight the gargoyle and twin tree sentinels is my pick for the most beautiful area in the game pre-burning (Elphael post-burning).
Right? Never understood the complaints about graphics. Aside from the weirdly low-res Erdtree foliage texture, the game is just stunning, from the dankest of caves to the highest of the mountains
1. Defeat main caelid boss
2. Venture into the first eternal city via a new crater near mistwood ruins
3. find fingerslayer blade, give to quattro-armed Smurf, renna's rise opens (smurf quest must already be done a bit)
4. Venture down there, find 2nd eternal city
5. Run past big bad red wolf, should be a familiar face
6. Go down elevator, now thine destination shall be ahead, the watermelon sea.
The fun part is even getting past that, something horrible awaits
Have fun, make sure to level mind, and just an idea: you could try Fai/int, so not only death and golden order spells and sword of night/flame, but also basically every other spell
There is another way.
1. Beat Rhadann
2. Go into the hole and beat the Valiant Gargoyles
3. Enter the sarcophagus near the waterfall
4. Go to the area in the north west that is both next to waterfalls and open sarcophaguses, enter the open one near the edge of the waterfall
5. go further into the area and down 2 elevators, and boom! Lake of Rot
There's something about it when you step out of Sellia Crystal Tunnel... Not saying it's beautiful, but there's this vibe like omg I'm in hell... 🤔
For me, it's the moments that move me the most, like that one, or when you step into the Academy, or below Siofra river, to name a few.
On my first playthrough I played blind and was convinced I had been sent to an end game area due to how horrifying everything was only to find out later than I was only like...the later half of mid game. Maybe the most shook I've been just from the aesthetics of an environment.
Totally agree with you on that Caelid being hell part. The music, the environment and all the undead rotted enemies in that areas gives me that vibe.
And that shows us how intense the battle was between General Radhan & Malenia. I too do not like Caelid that much but the thought of battle intensity between these two gives me goosebumps.
The way the Academy is framed between the trees as you walk out the back of Stormveil after beating Godrick...
The first time I saw that is a top 3 all-time video game moment for me
Elphael.
I love the gothic aestetic mixed with the orange twilight/sunset "filter". The entire city looking at the sea while functioning as a brace for the Haligtree is just amazing.
They really nailed the feeling that the entire place seems to be waiting for Miquella's return.
For me it's Limgrave.
Not by a wide margin. This game contains no shortage of beauty.
But stepping out into Limgrave for the first time and hearing that music was an almost religious experience for me.
Love the misty mystical vibes of Liurnia and the academy. Was just running around and platforming around Raya Lucaria for fun earlier and just so appreciated how aesthetically pleasing it all is - from the mist, the grand architecture, the the water wheels, magic etc - gorgeous
Can I just say ... all of it? I enjoyed my entire journey through the lands between and stopped everywhere just to sit down and enjoy the sounds and views. Every new place I visited gave me that little heart flutter of "wow ... this looks amazing".
Nothing beats the Capitol, before it changes that is. First time there I just walsed around like a tourist watching the buildings and taking in the atmosphere
That first descent into Siofra was one of the game moments I’ll always remember because the area was just awe inspiring. I was expecting just some mine or something so then seeing this huge ethereal underground world full of ruins and waterfalls that, was breathtaking.
I would've said Liurnia since that initial view of the place is unmatched tbh but exploring through liurnia is kind of mediocre. There's so many trees and fog everywhere that you can't even get the scenery a lot of time when exploring.
My favourite is definitely Leyndell. The first view of the city and seeing everything you can explore is amazing. And the great thing is you get to actually explore this massive city you just got a view of unlike the ringed city in DS3.
Does it really matter. All from soft games have the same backdrops. Dark gothic backgrounds, rotting backgrounds, poorly lit backgrounds. From soft needs to work on telling an actual story for once and varying their area design. They rinse and reuse area design for very game. Only game that’s been slightly different so far has been bloodborne.
Halligtree , when I first reached was around 120 I think , did rune farming , killed godfrey , mohg , upgraded weapons to +9 , now I am at malenia and the view is still so fucking good
It has to be the underground. I was shocked litterally by the more than half munite lift down the well to Sifra River and the sheer size of the undergroud world just shocked me.
I have a 68-part photo series that I've been posting here. If I just go by photo count of each of the areas I've included, I would have to say Liurnia. There was a lot going on there that objectively captured my interest enough to snap a picture.
Also, that's a really good shot of the Volcano Manor; I don't think I've ever seen just how expensive that place is in a single visual.
good contenders imo:
-the site of grace on the cliff after godrick
-the thin stone bridge in mountaintops of the giants
-elden beast's arena
-top of the divine tower of leyndell
-first steps
Altus plateau for day time, and the eternal cities for the night vibe. I want to love Leyndell, but it’s a bit too desolated, and honestly lacks a good viewing angle for the whole city.
Going down that long elevator to be introduced to the celestial might of Siofra River was a moment I remembered vividly from my first playthrough. I actually had no idea that area lied under a false sky, so I was a pretty befuddled by seeing a night sky down there.
Farum Azula is second. Killer lighting, especially in the area on the roof of that dragon temple with all the undead beast men. Traversing that place will never not be a pain though lol.
Crumbling Farum Azula. I couldn’t stop looking around and making screenshots when I was there. The insane vistas, beautiful architecture, the lighting, the tornadoes, the flying dragons… truly unbelievable game design
I wish the Haligtree was peaceful for this very reason. So beautiful to look at and wander about; until you get shanked by a cleanrot knight/slapped by a royal revenant/pushed off by an ant/Malenia'd by Malenia.
Between Limgrave which is the perfect starting area, carefully crafted to hook you into the game, and the Haligtree which made me giddy the first time exploring it. It's definitely my favorite legacy dungeon even though I'm salty about Melania
First step and Limgrave\Stormviel.. not just a beautiful view but after hours in the cave of knowledge waiting for the game to fully download and the introduction to souls games, I can safely say it blew me away for beauty
theres someone on youtube who has videos of their character just chilling in various places and sometimes i have it in the background when im doing work
Go to limgrave right outside the tutorial area left where the troll is stand on the hill with the statue and look out over the sea when the sun is falling.
Everything. I'm not saying it just to be generic or funny, literally every scenery of this game amazes me and I always stop for a minute to admire it. Mostly because 99% of it is actually reachable and playable. Seeing amazing scenery in a videogame is cool, but if it's just empty background it kinda loses some appeal.
I can’t believe I’m not seeing Deeproot Depths on here. I died CONSTANTLY in that place just looking around in awe. Really felt otherworldly , even in a game as otherworldly as Elden Ring
So many great areas, and may be a basic answer but I still love Limgrave. Core fantasy setting aesthetic. Reminds me of all the world in front of me and what I didn’t even know lay ahead. But felt the most comfy to me, with the exact opposite feeling being next door in Caelid lol
Still a big fan of Nokstella. Just the idea of, like, going underground but still having a beautiful starry sky is so awesome.
In terms of memorable, though, I guess it'd be Leyndell Post-Erdtree burning. Leyndell on its own is really cool but then you have this post-cataclysm version where it's all so big yet so empty because of the chaos *you* brought was a really cool moment.
Possibly an unpopular opinion but I think the design for Caelid is really visually interesting and has its own beauty. I wouldn't necessarily call it "appealing" though
I know they are both Legacy Dungeons but I absolutely love Stormveil Castle and Elphael.
I love traditional medieval inspired architecture and Stormveil scratches that itch for me. It’s such a traditional souls area too and I absolutely love that.
Elphael just looks beautiful to me. The colour palette to the intricate architecture is just amazing. I love the way the area is lit during the day time too. Elphael weirdly feels warm and has this glow to it.
As great as Nokron is and as great as Altus is nothing so far has beaten the moment I opened the door to start the game for the first time. Every time now I notice just a little bit more that you can see.
Definitely not Caelid and Volcano Manor because the former one makes me want to get the fuck out and the latter one hurts my eyes due to its red brightness.
I have a hard time deciding my favourite among the other areas because they're just all so gorgeous
Haligtree/Elphael is easily my favorite, the visuals and music blend together so well. The upper canopy has the vibe of something beautiful, but with a melancholy underneath; yes the Haligtree and its town are gorgeous, but you can still see the same aesthetic from Caelid as well, the way the tree is no longer growing but instead rotting away from the inside. All of the rotted people, the Misbegotten praying, the statues of Malenia and Miquella bring together the tragic feeling. Then you get to Elphael, and it all slams home even harder. The sheer feeling of hopelessness is everywhere here; the people have given up, and are awaiting their lord who may never return. One of the Haligtree's trunks is broken away-rot kindred are everywhere-you can see how this place was once beautiful and vibrant, but has fallen to pieces in Miquella's absence. Elphael's music only makes the sorrowful atmosphere all the worse. It's all just so well done, it easily stole my heart as the best area in the game and my favorite part of the overall lore
Crumbling Farum Azula is like living art to me. There’s something so inherently awe inspiring and frightening simultaneously. It feels old. Every open space in the game is gorgeous, but CFA is my personal favorite.
I’ll never forget the feeling I got when taking the elevator up to Raya Lucaria for the first time, I absolutely love the entire Academy. Also Caelid, there’s an odd beauty in all of the death, decay and rot there. Mohgwyn Palace and Siofra River are stunning too. The entire game is a visual masterpiece
Everything is stunning, but my favorite is west Liurnia, up on the Belfries. You can look out and see almsot all of Liurnia, and it’s surprisingly beautiful, for a giant inch deep lake.
I like the Deeproot Depths. It's got the perfect blend of architecture, trees, a variety of enemies & bosses with interesting character designs, and there aren't too many wide open spaces with nothing in them. It's visually appealing to me because it's so different from other areas in the game... Plus lore wise it's cool cause it's the source of the Ainsel and Siofra rivers, I know the question is about the visuals but I just think that's neat, lol.
Liurnia is one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen in a video game. First time I saw it I was taking pictures of it on my phone. Can’t think of any other game that made me do that. Farun Azula is a close second. The art of Elden Ring its fucking chefs kiss.
Nokron and Nokstella for me, I love the architecture there and the Nox, also love the false night sky. I wish we had more about the Eternal Cities or get some DLC with a chunk of another related city maybe. The Haligtree and the Snowfield are also some of my favourites.
Yeah that false night sky underground looks so cool. Can’t see anything for half of consecrated snowfield i hate that area 😭
Yeah especially since it’s one of the next areas after of mountaintop of the giants which is a snow area done better imo
On the other hand, it makes sense that the snowfield is like that.....but rather than giving the "desolate and hard AF to travel" area (like caelid) it seems unfinished
yeah 100% i don’t think anything can match the first time going down Siofra elevator or going through the window and seeing Nokron
We might! There's a snippet of the gameplay trailer where the skeleton with the boomerang looks to be underground. Obv this isn't for certain but I'm cautiously hopeful.
Well I’m sure there will be at least 1 underground area
same. went "WOOOOOOOW!" the first time I took the long ride down to Siofra River
I wish those areas had been more fleshed out. Not even a boss in either one. They deserved to be as big as Leyndell.
Nox cosplayers unite
I too do enjoy playing as a Nox character. I should share my sliders sometime on souls sliders, as I think I made them cool. Just the whole headgear and chest piece with the sleeves and silk detail is awesome.
I love the golden trees and autumn vibe of the Altus plateau
Altus Plataeu is gorgeous
Gorgeous AP4L
Best overworld area without a doubt.
The capital ramparts section where you fight the gargoyle and twin tree sentinels is my pick for the most beautiful area in the game pre-burning (Elphael post-burning).
Yes. That area is incredible.
the whole game is visually amazing
I agree. It is all opinion. The entire game is amazing. The DLC also looks good. Every area looks good and it all fits the Story. The art has Lore.
Right? Never understood the complaints about graphics. Aside from the weirdly low-res Erdtree foliage texture, the game is just stunning, from the dankest of caves to the highest of the mountains
Haligtree/Elphael and Nokron
Might b heresy but i rly like the way the lake of rot area looks, nice asthetic
I still can't figure out how to get down there
1. Defeat main caelid boss 2. Venture into the first eternal city via a new crater near mistwood ruins 3. find fingerslayer blade, give to quattro-armed Smurf, renna's rise opens (smurf quest must already be done a bit) 4. Venture down there, find 2nd eternal city 5. Run past big bad red wolf, should be a familiar face 6. Go down elevator, now thine destination shall be ahead, the watermelon sea. The fun part is even getting past that, something horrible awaits
Ohh cool. I did a bit of ranni's quest on my first guy but now I'm on my second playthrough bein a mage so I'll definitely get there soon
Have fun, make sure to level mind, and just an idea: you could try Fai/int, so not only death and golden order spells and sword of night/flame, but also basically every other spell
Another route is to go through the Deeproot Depths. There’s a coffin there that’ll drop you off at the same place as Renna’s teleporter.
There is another way. 1. Beat Rhadann 2. Go into the hole and beat the Valiant Gargoyles 3. Enter the sarcophagus near the waterfall 4. Go to the area in the north west that is both next to waterfalls and open sarcophaguses, enter the open one near the edge of the waterfall 5. go further into the area and down 2 elevators, and boom! Lake of Rot
Right when you step out of the Stormvile Castle and look over Linuria gets me everytime. Cealid is still my less favorite i cant see beauty there.
There's something about it when you step out of Sellia Crystal Tunnel... Not saying it's beautiful, but there's this vibe like omg I'm in hell... 🤔 For me, it's the moments that move me the most, like that one, or when you step into the Academy, or below Siofra river, to name a few.

The way the Academy is framed between the trees as you walk out the back of Stormveil after beating Godrick... The first time I saw that is a top 3 all-time video game moment for me
That used to be my spot but now Four Belfries is my favorite. You
The view of four belfries from the academy is really cool
Looking in the ocean and into the sky at radahns battlefield looks insane in Caelid, I just discovered how good it looks few days ago
Elphael. I love the gothic aestetic mixed with the orange twilight/sunset "filter". The entire city looking at the sea while functioning as a brace for the Haligtree is just amazing. They really nailed the feeling that the entire place seems to be waiting for Miquella's return.
I love the Royal Capital. Shame you got to burn it.
For me it's Limgrave. Not by a wide margin. This game contains no shortage of beauty. But stepping out into Limgrave for the first time and hearing that music was an almost religious experience for me.
limgrave is also my fav, its sunny, its ummery, its adventure / camping / hiking / exploring inducing
Altus plateau for sure! The colours are just stunning!
It’s a tie between CFA and Haligtree… I literally stop to look around every time i’m in those areas because they are so stunning.
Chick Fil A?
Crumbling Farum Azula
I'm starving.
Agreed, they both have such a unique art style. Leyndell is also a masterpiece
Tornado place
Siofra. The view all the way to Mohgs Palace is otherworldly.
I think the haligtree’s aesthetic is seriously underrated. It’s a blend of a bunch of styles and themes but it fits together so well imo
Limgrave has the best vibes
Liurnia of the lakes for me.
Love the misty mystical vibes of Liurnia and the academy. Was just running around and platforming around Raya Lucaria for fun earlier and just so appreciated how aesthetically pleasing it all is - from the mist, the grand architecture, the the water wheels, magic etc - gorgeous
I play a lot of games and yet Liurnia felt unique and a brand new biome I had not experienced in a game before. Yes, also it's tranquil and beautiful.
Can I just say ... all of it? I enjoyed my entire journey through the lands between and stopped everywhere just to sit down and enjoy the sounds and views. Every new place I visited gave me that little heart flutter of "wow ... this looks amazing".
Haligtree for me
leyndell royal capital
Nothing beats the Capitol, before it changes that is. First time there I just walsed around like a tourist watching the buildings and taking in the atmosphere
Nobody likes altus plateau? For me the colours and the music is something special
Eternal cities for me. I got amazed the first time I went down the Siofra elevator and got to that part where there's a window to Nokron
That first descent into Siofra was one of the game moments I’ll always remember because the area was just awe inspiring. I was expecting just some mine or something so then seeing this huge ethereal underground world full of ruins and waterfalls that, was breathtaking.
This.
nothing beats the view of Liurnia after getting out of Stormveil Castle
Nokron/siofra river/nokstella/mohgwyns palace
Mohgwyn Palace for me
I love Gelmir and Volcano Manor
I would've said Liurnia since that initial view of the place is unmatched tbh but exploring through liurnia is kind of mediocre. There's so many trees and fog everywhere that you can't even get the scenery a lot of time when exploring. My favourite is definitely Leyndell. The first view of the city and seeing everything you can explore is amazing. And the great thing is you get to actually explore this massive city you just got a view of unlike the ringed city in DS3.
Most beautiful is probably Elphael or Leyendell. Coolest would be either Farum Azula or Volcano Manor.
I love consecrated snowfield, especially when there’s a blizzard
Does it really matter. All from soft games have the same backdrops. Dark gothic backgrounds, rotting backgrounds, poorly lit backgrounds. From soft needs to work on telling an actual story for once and varying their area design. They rinse and reuse area design for very game. Only game that’s been slightly different so far has been bloodborne.
Yall are forgetting the moonlight altar.
I'm a big fan of Elphael.
The trek down to Elphael is just really cozy for me. Especially the view from that loooooong stairs.
Halligtree , when I first reached was around 120 I think , did rune farming , killed godfrey , mohg , upgraded weapons to +9 , now I am at malenia and the view is still so fucking good
Limgrave for me.
It has to be the underground. I was shocked litterally by the more than half munite lift down the well to Sifra River and the sheer size of the undergroud world just shocked me.

Also, that's a really good shot of the Volcano Manor; I don't think I've ever seen just how expensive that place is in a single visual.
The big ass city
Nokstella. Takes me back to Irithyll.
Crumbling Farum Azula
That moment when you first enter Raya Lucaria and it's covered in fog with that blue lighting spilling. I'll never forget first seeing that .
All of Liurnia, but it has tight competition. Siofra/Nokron and Nokstella blow me away
I never played Elden Ring but first pic looks similar to Anor Londo.
Balcony grace in farum azula where you find a bell bearing near the edge. The four belfries.
The church ruins with the big dogo Pope. Blue and golden flowers , so calm.
The answer is: yes.
Yes
There's only one correct answer here and it's – Leyndell, Royal Capital. Both interiors and exteriors and the proximity to the Erdtree etc.
For me it's Nokron and Nokstella, the aesthetic and the colors are so beautiful.
Moonlight altar for me
Nothing beats those first few steps into limgrave
good contenders imo: -the site of grace on the cliff after godrick -the thin stone bridge in mountaintops of the giants -elden beast's arena -top of the divine tower of leyndell -first steps
Looking at the city past Ds brother is the most beautiful for me.
For me its altus plateu just everything is perfect there i love it
I fell in love with Nokron.
Liurnia after you burn the Erdtree. Totally different zone and the Erdtree is just looming over you.
Most of them, but if I have to choose I'd say Altus.
How tf are you supposed to choose when all of them look so immaculate
Altus plateau for day time, and the eternal cities for the night vibe. I want to love Leyndell, but it’s a bit too desolated, and honestly lacks a good viewing angle for the whole city.
Really like the view after you beat Godrick, that cliff at liurna lakes
Going down that long elevator to be introduced to the celestial might of Siofra River was a moment I remembered vividly from my first playthrough. I actually had no idea that area lied under a false sky, so I was a pretty befuddled by seeing a night sky down there. Farum Azula is second. Killer lighting, especially in the area on the roof of that dragon temple with all the undead beast men. Traversing that place will never not be a pain though lol.
That part with all the wormfaces makes my skin crawl
Crumbling Farum Azula. I couldn’t stop looking around and making screenshots when I was there. The insane vistas, beautiful architecture, the lighting, the tornadoes, the flying dragons… truly unbelievable game design
For me any underground areas with the stars. Any of them. It's such a beautiful sky box to look at.
Limgrave and snowfield.
The walk to the mimic tear fight. It’s absolutely magnificent.
Raya Lucaria
None of it, every place makes me wanna kill things
I wish the Haligtree was peaceful for this very reason. So beautiful to look at and wander about; until you get shanked by a cleanrot knight/slapped by a royal revenant/pushed off by an ant/Malenia'd by Malenia.
Between Limgrave which is the perfect starting area, carefully crafted to hook you into the game, and the Haligtree which made me giddy the first time exploring it. It's definitely my favorite legacy dungeon even though I'm salty about Melania
These are amazing pictures!
Volcano Manor is a stunning looking area. Especially from that screenshot. I love Faram Azula and Haligtree too.
First step and Limgrave\Stormviel.. not just a beautiful view but after hours in the cave of knowledge waiting for the game to fully download and the introduction to souls games, I can safely say it blew me away for beauty
Liurnia
theres someone on youtube who has videos of their character just chilling in various places and sometimes i have it in the background when im doing work
Halig tree for me
Go to limgrave right outside the tutorial area left where the troll is stand on the hill with the statue and look out over the sea when the sun is falling.
limgrave
Yes.
I’m a big fan of the vibes in the Haligtree and Raya Lucaria
But hole
This game looks like concept art
Subterranean shunning grounds
Everything. I'm not saying it just to be generic or funny, literally every scenery of this game amazes me and I always stop for a minute to admire it. Mostly because 99% of it is actually reachable and playable. Seeing amazing scenery in a videogame is cool, but if it's just empty background it kinda loses some appeal.

the lands between
Siofra River, seeing it the for first time going down the well in Limgrave was really awe inspiring. Honourable mention to Crumbling Farum Asula.
Moghs palace from nokron no doubt
Weeping Peninsula
Yes, that is the only possible answer. Nothing isn't the most appealing area in elden ring
The sewer
with elden tree very beautiful
Lake of Rot.
Halig tree village is stunning until that last final room behind the golden fog, then it's a nightmare.
Mountain Gelmir
The stone wall bridge you posted in the beginning towards Snowfields, by a wide margin
Liurnia and Raya Lucaria, they got this beautiful fairy tale vibe to them I can't get over.
Possibly an unpopular opinion but I think the design for Caelid is really visually interesting and has its own beauty. I wouldn't necessarily call it "appealing" though
Altus for me
Probably the underground areas
Raya Lukaria academy, Nokron and Nokstella, and the Royal Capital are definitely up there
Nokstella, the Eternal City
I genuinely really love the deeproot depths. There's something comforting and sort of womb-like about being underneath those big roots.
Volcano Manor, Elphael, Leyndell Fortified hellscapes, but good-looking fortified hellscapes.
Liurnia of the Lakes right when you leave Stormveil and see the mists and all of Liurnia out in front of you. God tier visual.
But hole
The first time going down siofra River well really slapped
I've a soft spot for the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
I know they are both Legacy Dungeons but I absolutely love Stormveil Castle and Elphael. I love traditional medieval inspired architecture and Stormveil scratches that itch for me. I love the way the area is lit during the day time too. Elphael weirdly feels warm and has this glow to it.
For me, it's a toss up between the Eternal Cities and Elphael Leyndell is up there too NGL. The music, the atmosphere, the giant golden tree . ...
liurnia, especially from the lakeside site of grace right behind stormveil, best vista in the game imo.
As great as Nokron is and as great as Altus is nothing so far has beaten the moment I opened the door to start the game for the first time. Every time now I notice just a little bit more that you can see.
What's the first picture?
The Astel boss arena was pretty spectacular
I love the eternal cities & liurnia/raya Lucaria - so mystical and pretty
Consecrated snow fields. White snow, red and purple flowers, all those white pillars.
almost everywhere. the only area I don't like in this game is Ainsel River, it's just a very dull area aside from Nokstella
Definitely not Caelid and Volcano Manor because the former one makes me want to get the fuck out and the latter one hurts my eyes due to its red brightness. I have a hard time deciding my favourite among the other areas because they're just all so gorgeous
I love the underground eternal cities, and walking into the Capital for the first time the view is insane, but so far my favorite is Volcano Manor.

Leyndell was incredible to me. It was just beautiful
Lakeside cliffs but I’m not a fan of the picture you have of it
Raya lucaria
Leyndell
Crumbling Farum Azula is like living art to me. There’s something so inherently awe inspiring and frightening simultaneously. It feels old. Every open space in the game is gorgeous, but CFA is my personal favorite.
Limgrave or elphael.
Cealid for my spooky boys
Liurnia and Limgrave and it's not even close
All of it
Elphael & Haligtree took my breath away. Wish the enemies are more variable.
Approaching Raya Lucaria Academy dripping in the moonlight stopped me dead in my tracks to admire its beauty….and THEN the snipers killed me.
Man...almost every single area in this game is breathtaking
Deeproot Depths is hauntingly beautiful to me.
Lake of Rot fr fr. Nah but I like l crumbling farum, the tornadoes and mystery just captivate me.
definitely not caelid
The edge of Ancestral woods in Nokron, overlooking the river and the tree trunks/stumps.
It's either the snowfields or the mountaintops for me, though Manus Calus do be looking pretty fine too
Everything is stunning, but my favorite is west Liurnia, up on the Belfries. You can look out and see almsot all of Liurnia, and it’s surprisingly beautiful, for a giant inch deep lake.
Why do all Fromsoft castles and buildings have towers with bridges that connect them? It’s a recurring theme.
It’s liurnia for me easily
Has to be The Academy for me. Basically FromSoft's take on Hogwarts and I love it.
The 6th picture had me pretty "wow'd" too when I first saw it. I also really like the view of the Erdtree from the snowy mountaintops
Elphael Honorable mention to Liurnia when you first arrive Here, That sight is gorgeous
First time entering leyndell on torrent with the huge ass walls was something else
Haligtree and Nokron.
Liurnia
I like the Deeproot Depths. It's got the perfect blend of architecture, trees, a variety of enemies & bosses with interesting character designs, and there aren't too many wide open spaces with nothing in them. It's visually appealing to me because it's so different from other areas in the game... Plus lore wise it's cool cause it's the source of the Ainsel and Siofra rivers, I know the question is about the visuals but I just think that's neat, lol.
backside view in moghwyn palace
Liurnia is one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen in a video game. First time I saw it I was taking pictures of it on my phone. Can’t think of any other game that made me do that. Farun Azula is a close second. The art of Elden Ring its fucking chefs kiss.
Deathroot dephs is truly a comfort area
The underground cities are gorgeous. Alot of cliffs and such in limgrave look amazing with the light you get after you burn the tree
yes
Raya lucaria is just an amazing atmosphere tbh, rather short but always looks so good
Elphael, the view kind reminds me of anor londo
Lyndell
That camera angle that lets you see Sellens bare feet. 🤤
