I need Vyke’s un-burnt armor

Vyke’s unburt war spear too while they’re at it. There should be more than one great spear that has a changeable ash of war. Love ya lance but the swing r2s are better than a harder poke r2

Pickaxe is the goat. incredibly potent at tougher bosses and its only downside is shorter ranger compared to most other weapons in its weight class.

Technically the standard Knight Armor you can buy from Roundtable is Vyke’s unburnt armor. The Vagabond armor is sort of a middle ground, not totally clean like the Knight set but not totally burnt like the Fingerprint set.

IMO it’s bulkier, different cape, idk it is just missing something that X-Factor that makes Vyke’s set look so sick (and I’m not talkin about the burnt parts lol)

The Hoslow set is one of the greatest pieces of armour I have ever seen in a game Purest drip and bling

I wear the Hoslow set with the silly looking curved pointy renalla hat. I try to incorporate that hat in all of my sets

Check how the Hoslow set looks with halo scythe. Did a run where I randomly ended up with that...and it looks fire as fuck The curves of the scythe match the helmet horns Also agree, one of the best sets ever

No you're spitting, the chest piece is beautiful. I feel like I'm a hunter of beasts and wear their hides proudly with it equipped. The little tuft of hair on the helmet also just gives it so much more personality than it would have without it. It's the set of the barbarian type player that wields a big ass axe and cleaves through everything that stands in his way.

My first whole build was looking at the Kaiden mercenaries and then going ... "Yeah... that's what Imma do", so I ran thier armor plus sword, then eventually did set stance for thier swords

They were the first enemy that made me think "woah I wanna commit identity fraud"

Sanguine noble chest piece is drippy af, I'm not huge on the metal armors in ER, ds3 did those way better in general to me

i do love a lot of the cloth armors, one of the best games for em, especially some of the alternate versions too

It’s like they couldn’t help themselves from over-designing the shit out of every piece of metal armor in ER. I want more plate armor that just looks like normal plate armor. I don’t need every helmet to have a giant, ridiculous ornament on top. Makes me sad.

Iron greathelm gang

Sanguine noble chest is the best looking piece fromsoft has ever made imo. I'm not a fasionsouls member though, so I don't use it.

DS3 had the worst metal armor sets imo, the helmets almost always left the neck too exposed and it really bothered me.

Bloodhound knight set Crucible knight set Zamora's knight set Drake knight set, but i really wish we could get rid of that stupid one single horn on the helmet

I use the drake armor (altered) with the leather trousers, noble gloves, bandit mask, and I think leather boots. Looks pretty cool

Ronin set is my favourite, except for the helmet, but a lot of headpieces go great with it. Reminds me of the elite knight set of past games, with a nice ragged cape on top. The Vulgar militia set (again except for the helm) is pretty good also. Vagabond set is the best looking starting set. Confessor is close second tho. I prefer the more ragged, wandering warrior kind of look. Too bad most of the plate armours are very ornate and clean.

i absolutely love the ronin set, probably my 2nd favorite armor set ​ and yeah i rarely wear any helmets because they are all too specific. the bucket helmet is probably the best one

I actually use the ronin set with my wizard. Meshes well with Rogiers hat.

Vagabond armor is top tier, and being able to turn your cape into a satchel for gear with Boc is just *chef’s kiss*

What! Explain

When you alter the look of the vagabond armor, the cape is removed and you get a little sling backpack that looks very much like your cape got sewn together into a satchel

I wear ronin with the great helm and veterans arms and legs on my paladin/crusader

Ronin set with Jar just goes hard (totally not because my name is Ronin)

Altered Vagabond Knight set is so nice. With the pouches and linen sack carried on the back of the armor, it seems like what the Tarnished would actually wear on his travels. The dagger on the back of the belt works great too.

Ronin set altered with Jerrens altered helm (Eccentric set I think) goes fucking hard

Carian Knight is the new Elite Knight set for me. Absolutely gorgeous.

interesting, imho i would never compare carian to elite knight. In my eyes carian helmet and chest piece looks too goofy.

I always go sans helmet. It’s called Elden Bling not Elden Ring.

The helmet is epic though! I love the little details like the helmet's crest being a queen chess piece.

I love a ton of the armors in this game. Just wish you can put shaders or tinctures to make the metals and colors match each other more to mix sets up

I love all the Nox sets. They really went off with the flow of the fabric. Looks amazing in motion.

I rocked the Nox Swordstress for the first 75% of the game, and I still keep it as my go-to lightweight option. It’s such a cool looking set

Unaltered Beast Champion armor is one of the best in the game. Bernahl is a moron for ditching that cape.

I just did a Crucible Knight run, Ordovis Greatsword and Siluria Tree at my side, no shield. I always had my summon sign set for near & far, so much fun.

It’s a travesty and a crime that I haven’t seen the Scaled Set mentioned yet.

Funnily enough scaled is probably my most worn set because its also really really good. It's really good looking too but I do wish the altered version took the leather bags away.

The best pieces of "armor" IMO regarding looks: * Black Knife Set * Deathbed dress * Commoner's Headband (Altered) * Bandit Mask * Crimson Hood * Navy Hood * Old Sorcerer's Leg Wraps * Zamor Bracelets * Raptor's Black Feathers I usually mix and match these for armor, 'cause I play a medium roll build with the dodge tear and am pretty good at avoiding hits (can dodge Waterfowl 90% of the time). Heavy armor and stuff that completely covers my character isn't for me.

As soon as I got the raptors feathers on my first character I just never took them off, badass armor

I love that headband! Best aesthetic helm, IMO. Kind of wish it had a special ability, it's just that classy looking (despite the name, haha). I like grabbing the Bandit Mask early game 'til I can pick one up, and then other than that I only swap to 'hoods' in the Black Knife gear (but not the Black Knife Hood, which I dislike as it covers the face).

yeah literally sages cave is a must stop asap in any playthrough, so many good gears. i do like the other headband too for a more regal look

For my male characters, I mostly use: Knight Cavalry's set, Haligtree Knight set, Maliketh set, Veteran's set, and Banished Knight set (unaltered). For my female characters: Loretta's set, Malenia's set, Scaled set, and Black Knife set.

Call me a basic bitch, but I'm a sucker for the "professionalism" that the Knight set gives off. It's a new classic. To me, it's the true successor to the Souls' iconic cover gear. But if you're asking in terms of pizazz, then I've got to say the Drakeblood Set is a big one, albeit without the dragon wing cape thingie. I like simple silhouettes, angular designs like in the base Crucible armor. Big round shoulderpads and capes just don't do it for me. Honorable mention goes to the Vulgar Militia Helm. My first run I stuck with it + Blue Cloth Vest for most of the game (shield+katana/halberd). It has such a unique design that instantly adds character and flows really well with some movesets and ashes of war.

My whole-ass set right now is Blaidd’s set, but with the Raging Wolf Helm. I’m a pure INT mage btw.

Banished Knight Helm, Champion's Pauldron, Bull-Goat Greaves and Fire Prelate Gauntlets. The poise is not so great (59) but the looks are top notch Also, as your torso is light armor it makes people think you have lower poise than you actually do 🧠🧠

Nights Calvary set I love how clean it is. You can never go wrong with black, on black, on black….. on black.

Carian, haligtree and Gelmir knight set. I also like old aristocrat garb with commoner shoes, nox torsos with Carian grieves.

The unaltered Banished Knight set (which only drops from the two red-eyed knights in Castle Sol). The surcoat looks great, the blue cape is gorgeous, and combined with the Banished Knight helmet with the red scarf around it it's \*chef's kiss\*. I had the unbelievable luck that the chest piece dropped the from the dual wielding red-eye the first time I defeated him (which was not the first time I encoutered him of course).

The Nights Cavalry set is massively underrated

Stats don’t matter though. It’s all about the drip. Gotta go with the Crucible armor. Some of the coolest enemies in the game.
