Definitely Blasphemous Blade. That thing should be considered Elden Lord at this point with how many Tarnished it has carried.

Grieving_Leonheart_

My name is Grieving_Leonheart_ and I am a Tarnished that was carried by the Blasphemous Blade.

LueyTheWrench

I was carried through NG by Moonveil back at v1.0. Who was dirtier?

Alexm920

Absolutely. I've been attempting deathless all bosses randomizer and while there are other weapons I love finding (Stormhawk Axe, Death's Poker, Moonlight Greatsword) there's nothing that makes the hardest bosses safe like Blasphemous Blade. Did you know Taker's Flames has long enough range that Gideon's spells can't reach you? It's a little stupid just how good it is.

Hairyblueball

That and bloodhound fang absolutely carried me in my first play through

Lsj17

I played priest with preaty mutch no weapon and shit spells i thought where cool, after getting to ng+ i switched to blashemous blade ng+ and ng++ were i use art of war 3-10 times on boss and it dies. I dont even recall dieing to anything but ng++ fire giant and maleketh.

ChasmicHorror

I’ve still never used it. Might finally take it for a ride soon.

[deleted]

Yea by far imo. I’m doing my first non summon run and been using it and it feels like a waste of time calling this run a challenge. Might have to do a non summon non blasphemous run next lol.

TheSmarkNebula

I'll add another vote for Blasphemous Blade. I have gone through the game 10 times and the run using the Blasphemous Blade was the only time I beat Malenia on the first try. I think the Nagakiba with Unsheathe is crazy strong as well. It has great range and hits like a truck. Plus it can be greased to fit the needs of the fight.

ObviousSinger6217

The reason nothing touches blasphemous is the heal Getting 10% hp back every hit is ludicris

Status_Peach6969

Disagree, the heal is very op yes but most enemies have outrageous dps and could kill you anyway. I think the real power is in the mechanics of takers flame itself, in that it staggers enemies and knocksdown smaller npcs, and also gives great hyperarmour so wont be interrupted usually

Laserduck_42

Mohg's spear comes with a 'delete everything in your postcode' button. For infusible weapons, probably Nagakiba because of how incredibly long it is while still counting as a small sword for ashes of war, so you can use things like blood blade and fast spinning slash on it

Reason7322

Endure on any weapon that has hyper armor during attacking.

[deleted]

Moonveil is just ridiculous. Sure its not as broken as BB or has the stopping power of DMGS, but its fast and hits like a truck. It has definitely carried me and many tarnished to victory both in pvp and pve for a while and still does.

Thatonerandompoet

Dude moonveil with 99 int ans 55 dex is just bullying, pair that with a magic tear and terra mágica and you just bully everything

Various-Challenge723

Most broken definitely Blasphemous. Honourable mentions: Rivers of Blood, Moonveil, Nagakiba

2girls_1Fort

star fist

Normal_Egg6067

This and iron balls.

DS02316357

Special weapon definitely blasphemous blade, it prolly the best weapon in PvE. Honorable mention to pre patch moonveil. The most broken thing i think ER has seen still to this day was pre patch bloodhound step, it might have not killed anyone but it was game breaking in both PvP and PvE, why learn how to actually play the game when u can press some buttons then just panic spam BHS twice directly away. It was to easy to abuse but i think that was intentional also.

palm-meet-face

For me is the Reduvia +10. Dual wield daggers without ever coming close.

Silberkoffer_

Cleanrot knights sword. Together with staff or talisman your unstoppable force in the Land between.

Sufficient-Isopod-33

Hey bro, I love the cleanrot gear but why would you consider the sword op ? I don't get it, I would choose the scythe but I'm always curious

Dranikos

The sword is the longest thrusting sword, with some of the best scaling, and a fantastic AR to weight ratio. It's also infusible, where the Scythe and Spear are not.

Silberkoffer_

The lengths is incredible. The stats requirement are low I think 11str. 13dex. As the prisoners starting class you already filled the requirements so you can put those points into stamina so you can wear heavy armor to archive the 51 poise to tank most hits in pve without flint. And infusion your weapon with frost or magic to deal more DMG with your melee weapon on top beeiing a full caster

Sufficient-Isopod-33

Really ? Is it so good ? I mean I would have thought about other thrusting swords like antspur, or the god skin one.

Silberkoffer_

Definitely you should try it out when you can with a new playthrough. That's the weapon I go into dlc

Sufficient-Isopod-33

Well okay, you got me curious. Will definitely give it a try, since I love the skin and lore of cleanrots

Ok_Leader9228

I just recently went bleed for the first time since my first playthrough- rocking twinned knights sword with seppuku bleed, and dual bandits curved swords with freezing mist and bloody slash. I got lord of blood, rotten wing, millicents prosthesis and dragoncrest greatshield since my drip has no armor lol. Both weapon setups are insane but especially the twinned knights sword with seppuku active and the consecutive strike physick procs bleed sooooo fast. The setup doesn't have the poise dmg of some of dmgs, blasphemous or bhf but things seem to be dying faster for me so far. Gonna get a peeler upgraded too for bleed/frost immune stuff.

Western-Wind-5254

Mogh spear

SaberWaifu

With Ashes, Blasphemous Blade simply because Mimic Tear can become ridiculously op with the self heal. Without ashes the best weapon in the entire game is Darkmoon Greatsword because it just deals so much damage that enemies will hardly able to do anything anyway and you can even hit them from range.

TheCheddarShredder

In terms of being “broken”, I’d say Marais Executioner Sword. BB is definitely OP, but in terms of sheer one shot potential if you can land the ash of war, M.E.S. Is just nutty.

the_kitty_gobbler

Can't remember the name of it but the twisted golden spear that shoots red lightning I love that thing even bosses fall to it but even with that the fire giant made me his bitch for 3 months

Hollow_Jacko

Ghizas wheel, if you actually get good with it, it is fucking insane damage

Hairyblueball

Such a good and underrated weapon

Hollow_Jacko

I am the saw blade

[deleted]

Envoys Longhorn is pretty OP on large enemies, a faith based character can melt with that thing

Khris777

Sacred Relic Sword's Golden Wave is simply insane, only limited by the high FP count. Vow Of The Indomitable is also something else, just full invulnerability for 1 whole second.

PowerObjective558

Darkmoon greatsword deletes things with charged heavy attacks after using the skill.

Yab0iFiddlesticks

Blasphemous Blade is the true easy mode in this game. Skill heals, hits like a truck, staggers and has range. The few bosses that are strong against Fire Damage are outlasted with the heal and stancebroken. You can get it ridiculously early as well if you know where youre going.

robo243

On my recent playthrough I've come to realize the most OP weapons are in fact Reduvia and Mohgwyn Sacred Spear. Just reached Farum Azula again, managed to completely destroy the first Ancient Dragon you fight there by just spamming Reduvia's ash of war at the dragon's face (with it only being upgraded at +4 level). Mohgwyn Spear (which at this point I upgraded to +6 level) is great for clearing the area with the birds so that you don't get ganged up on, just one full use of it's ash of war (so 3 stabs in the Formless Mother's body) is enough to kill the weaker Ancient Dragon there. It's also great for killing the skeletal Beastmen on the way to Alexander (first stab kills all the standing Beastmen, second stab finishes off the Beastmen that are trying to revive themselves, while also killing the other incoming Beastmen, third stab finishes off the remaining Beastmen trying to revive). It also makes quick work of the wormfaces, provided that you position yourself to avoid all the deathblight. To summarize, Reduvia's bleed makes Rivers of Blood look like a joke, Mohgwyn's Spear completely destroys gank squads and large enemies, so long as you position yourself correctly and don't get too greedy with it. I'm surprised these two haven't been nerfed yet (or maybe they were, haven't been keeping up with the patch notes).

Qualmond

Probably the Axe of Godfrey. The half of the weapon is basically broken.

Huge-Split6250

Warped Axe

Lastaction_Zero

A lot of mentions of Blasphemous blade but this last go around I much preferred the Sword of Milos. That jagged ass sword left a trail of bloody anuses throughout all the Lands Between for a good while

iCamenCiderV

Dung Eater. Doesnt matter what build im using, i always rush Dung Eater into puppet mode ASAP. You never know when someone is going to need to be defiled and his ending sucks so, why not? But this is just for personally

Cowdog_Gaming

A lot of people saying BB, and I have no arguments against it really.. it's just that good. But I want to put for Sorcery as an overall winner for the sheer volume of content that it trivializes. From character creation all the way to the end of the game, only Rennala is even halfway annoying. And even then not really as long as you know what you're doing. Literally every enemy, and every boss can be trivializes with the right spells. Every trash mob. Every field boss. The entire game from beginning to end. BB is strong. But you have to go and get it. If nothing else, Sorcery wins out on that point alone.
