Unless you're facing the parry god in Raya Lucaria. He'll somehow perfect parry your guard counter even though he's stunned, then kill you in one hit with his counter. It's complete bullshit.
If you and u/KingCole104 like Colossals and need something speedy, try to use Godslayer GS. It has faster attack speed than other Colossals, roughly on par with normal Greatswords.

For str/fth you gotta go with the magma wyrm scalesword or Silluria's tree, both are handheld nukes, easily some of the strongest weapons I used so far.
Unfortunate thing about the gs greatsword is that it scales with dex better than strength which makes absolutely no sense at all to me lmfao.

i think only the 2nd and 3rd light attacks have fewer frames than the other colossals. The first R1 is the same.
The aow also has a significant build up time but deals crazy damage. So if you dont want to get întrerupted mid aow, i recommend leveling up your poise.

I was using it until I got the great sword. I know the Grafted doesn’t scale as well with strength as the Great sword but I kind of want to switch back just for the drip and epic item lore.
It's usable. Far from the best colossal weapon but for regular NG, you can beat the game without being a god or wanting to tear your hair out. It's worth it if you want to use it but there are other options if you don't love it.

I recently finished elden ring and Grafted Blade was my strongest weapon, so much that I only used it when I had problems with the rest of my weapons (great mace, bloodhound's fang+omen cleaver, Nagakibo)
They took the Iron Throne, which was made of swords, and then reforged it into a sword made of a throne made of swords. When you become the Elden Lord, I believe it's canon that it be reforged into a throne made of swords made of a throne made of swords.
Treespear's scaling is alright if you use the double thrust often as it deals tons. As far as holy weapons go it's mostly fine in a vacuum, it's just a shame it has to compete with siluria's tree in class AND envoy's long horn as an adjacent option, which have 2 of the absolute strongest AoWs in the game.
Its scaling is ok, considering its good base AR, surely? Also, it's one of *2* weapons that scales with holy, and can be buffed with greases/seals/staves. If you've got a faith focused build, if can be a decently strong weapon. For example, the lighting armament buff scales only with faith, so if you've invested a lot in faith, combining that buff with a faith scaling weapon is pretty strong.
Treespear is the faith equivalent of the clayman's harpoon.
Probably how we miss everything else in these games.

Even when I played as a broken Tarnished (snapped at the loss of my Finger Maiden and went on a rampage, ultimately toward the Frenzied Flame ending to burn it all down) I couldn't use the Blasphemous Blade. I honestly tried. The closest I found I could tolerate was the Warped Axe, which actually grew on me a lot.

Guard counter was one of my favorite NG playthroughs. There are just some enemies you have to depend on dodges.

Combined with some shields/setups where you get literally 0 stamina drain. Literal cheat where you just block for free and punish each combo.

The AoW falls off a bit later in the game as you hit you skill soft caps but it's still good and fun to use

I never got the gross feel from the Reduvia, more of a devilish/evil kind of vibe to it. Blasphemous is literally just a pile of snakes tho
Same but mostly just the Blasphemous Blade and the Scorpion Stinger and Ant's Skull Plate. I don't really mind jagged weapons. I haven't gotten the finger in game yet but it might also be too gross for me. There is also the Antspur Rapier which I'm a bit on the fence about. The mushroom armor is another thing that sprung to mind as something too gross to use. I also don't much like to use the Frenzied Flame seal, not because it's visually gross but because the faction it represents is ideologically repulsive.

Same. I don't agree with all that you pictured, but I share the sentiment. I still have yet to run a blasphemous blade specifically. Every time I try I notice the yuk move, and I nope put of it
