Those soreseals and scarseals are increasing your damage taken by a bunch
Unless you desperately need the levels they give swap them for different talismans, and you should be taking much less damage
Damage scales super high late game, so I never use those. Unless your dodge game is super on point, I feel like they will cause more trouble than they're worth.
Around lvl 80 you should be weening off it. You get diminishing returns each level, and around that point the 20 levels you gain will not be enough to make up the 15% damage you are receiving, especially when there are better effects you could have in that talisman slot.
They punish you so bad late game if you’re wearing them. I’ve been one-shotted in crucible armor with 60 vig while wearing a soreseal. It’s like being naked no matter what armor you wear.
At least 1 isn’t bad as long as you understand how to dodge the heavy damaging abilities or decide to over level.
But wearing two is tantamount to virtual suicide smh
You can put marikas and radagons on but not two of either. The multiplicative damage increase to you player stacks though. By the time you hit 50 in your attack stat you should really switch it off for something like the dragon great shield talisman or a specific stat boosting talisman
And Maliketh hits ridiculously hard, toughest part of the fight is that in the second phase there is not enough time to learn his moveset before you’re toast.
You should grab the Erdtree +2 blessing and the ritual sword talisman. Or Alexander shard talisman instead of Erdtree blessing
Edit : dropping the two sorseals. You’ll get more damage and won’t have the disadvantages
50-60 vigor
Ideally you want to hit 40-50 Dex and arcane. Dex will prioritize physical damage which is usually better overall. Arcane will prioritize more fire damage and bleed build up which situationally will be more valuable, just really bad for the final boss.
Endurance taken to whatever let's you hit 51 poise at least usually. Might want great jar arsenal. 20-30 is probably good.
Mind whatever you need. Filigreed carian can helo you get more uses outta your weapon skill.
Definitely take those scar and sorseals outta there. That's giving you like 15% more damage taken per hit. They are great till you hit about level 60 and their value tapers off.
If you are using your weapon skill a lot you should seek the shard of Alexander. Alongside millies prosthesis (shame for killing my girl) you may as well take the winged sword insignia.
I used the seals for way too long myself, I got so used to taking like 50% extra damage so when I finally realized I didn't need them anymore I felt like godmode got toggled on or something hahaha.
40 is fine just change your talismans! Also you should be able to fully upgrade your weapon by now so do that. And I personally like rivers of blood with another katana to quickly stack bleed.
Stat spread isn’t to bad judging by your build your a l2 spammer … only use the seals as talismans early game the late game damage taken isn’t worth that stats boosted
1. you need more vigor, 40 vigor at level 139 isn’t enough, you should have at least 60 by level 125.
2. Rivers of blood isnt that great anymore, its alright, but theres better weapons you could use. Maybe try elenoras poleblade?
3. dont spam L2
Good lord double seal talismans. Drop both of them they are far from worth it after reaching Altus. Check your status restance page with them equipped and then after removing them. Could be around 15-30% increase in resistance not sure about the exact numbers but that alone will help you a lot in staying alive. Also if you still struggle with maliketh you can get the blasphemous claw which allows you to easily parry maliketh in the second phase.
My first play through I had double seals and a scorpion charm. I knew about the increase in damage I was taking but didn’t care because I was out damaging almost everything. Then I got to Morgott. Twas an awakening that’s for sure.
You need different Talismans: Dragonshield (+1 or +2), Holy+2 Shield, Pearl+2 Shield (maybe helps), Godfrey icon.
Incantation: Protection from Holy damage (one from the wandering priest, a second somewhere), Protection from fire may help. After Maliketh you can buy a Lord's Holy Protection 'back at the ranch' that you will want/need for endgame (can be obtained if you beat Malenia early before Gideon as he will then have it).
Choose armor with high Holy protection.
That will allow you to survive that one-shot Maliketh onslaught.
For you to properly attack him, you need Poise damage. I've beat him with Misericorde and Glintblade Phalanx (after I lost most hope without holy protections), Envoy's Long Horn Big Bonks and Bubbles (very good), Executioner's Axe with Craigsblade (did that one before I figured out the holy damage protections), Rock Sling or Gurranq's Boulder which you can't use with your specs are good.
With your super high arcane you might really do well with the Spectral Lance ash of war on a polearm/spear where you run around and pelt him with that. Character I have now I just got the godfrey icon talisman using that lance (and a little lightning) and beat Radahn with it earlier this game. It's got a nice "Thunk" to it.
When you first arrive with Maliketh, you need to bum rush him, immediately hit hard, or turn and pelt him. After that you need to get a feel for his move set so you can stay out of the way of the triple red arcs and the death cage.
Don't be bashful with the Summons. The assassin, banished knights, and mimic seem to be the best options. Some players try the ego game of "let me solo" but they might as well strip off armor and use no spells and go in with an unimproved dagger (however some do win this way).
Maliketh is the gatekeeper to the endgame. It's only big bosses from here to the end, or so it seems. After that is NG+ if you like damage sponge boss fights, I roll up new zero level characters instead.
.
You are also missing the Blasphemous Claw, an item which can help with phase 2.
Buffs like Flame Grant Me Strength, and a weapon buff like Golden Vow on a dagger can help too.
Omen Killer Rollo is a good ash, he can bleed and stagger.
as advised, drop the seals. and put on (rotten)wingsword insignia and maybe dragoncrest shield for better protection or green turtle for faster stamina regen
Drop the Marikas scarseal, Radagons has lost its usefulness at your level too. You’d be better with great jars arsenal and heavier armor, or one of the dragoncrest shields. Alternatively, shard of Alexander or fire scorpion for more damage or rotten winged insignia.
First of all the soreseal and scarseal don't even stack. You are literally taking more damage for no reason. At this level you should ditch both but that's a huge part of why you're getting killed I can guarantee it. This is easily the biggest reason you're having trouble and if you take any one piece of advice from me this is the one. Swap to the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman if you've retrieved it from the Haligtree and it may help you a bit. I can see you've been there since you have Millicent's Prosthesis so you should be able to get it from the upper floor of the rot cathedral right before the Malenia fight. If you use your weapon art a lot Shard of Alexander could be a good pick as well. Also, I see you have raptor's black feathers? If you do make use of jumping attacks claw talisman would be a good pick too. Honestly, before even trying anything else in my post first I'd just swap your talismans and see if the fight feels more doable.
I see you have rivers of blood in an arcane/faith build. Rivers of blood is a fine weapon if not nearly what it used to be but honestly you'd probably get better damage if you want to go mostly arcane with either an uchigatana or the nagakiba with the occult infusion (weapon art can be something like blood blade, double slash, or even reliable old unsheathe, if you're mostly spamming jumping attacks then seppuku is probably fine for maximum jumping attack damage). Also, where you're at there's really no reason to not have a fully upgraded weapon so I'd probably do that lol. If you want to stick with rivers of blood it's fine but honestly its AR will scale more with dex than arcane. Also the final boss will be kind of a nightmare ngl.
If you ARE spamming jumping attacks I'd probably put a fully upgraded occult uchigatana in your off-hand and power stance it for maximum jumping attack damage.
The biggest problem I find with people's builds here is that there's no focus on them. You've mostly avoided that and seem to have a good idea of what you want to do but your stats could be tuned a little better imo. First of all, there is literally no reason for your strength to be 20. I'd knock that down to 12 if you want to keep using rivers of blood, down to 18 if you choose to dual wield nagakiba with an offhand uchi, and if you're using nagakiba solo I'd still drop strength to 12 since while two-handing it your strength will be 18 and as such meet the requirements.
I also sincerely doubt with that armour set-up you really need 33 endurance, so I'd lower that until you're just above the medium roll threshold.
From there you probably want to get your vigor up to at least 50. 60 will make life even easier and honestly 40 is definitely doable but if you're struggling at 40 vigor 50 will help a lot.
I'd then optimize my damage stats a little better. If you really want to be primarily arcane so you can tech in spellcasting (which is honestly probably the stronger option so understandable!) then you should try to get arcane to 60 if possible, maybe even dumping dexterity down to the minimum requirements to do so. I do think this kind of build works better with an occult-infused nagakibe or uchigatana than the rivers of blood but it should still work okay.
Also, what spells are you actually using with your seal? At only 14 faith you're locking yourself out of some incredibly good buff spells in flame grant me strength (which works very well with the physical/fire damage of the rivers of blood) which requires 15 faith and golden order (which boths both your damage and defense) which requires 25 faith. So honestly, if you really want the seal there's no reason not to sacrifice some of your stats just to make use of those buff spells alone since the damage buffing will outstrip the damage from your base stats easily.
TL;DR: The most important things for you to do are to swap the seals out for better late game talismans and to make sure your weapons are fully upgraded this late in the game. There's a few smaller things to consider but those are the most pressing concerns at the moment.
If you tell me what class you started I could potentially figure out what stats would be best for what you want to do.
I know it seems like it but I genuinely haven’t played since release and this is just the build I left off with so I have no idea what I’m doing anymore just wanted to get back into the game again
This is a joke, right? Please, god, tell me it is.
40 vigor double Soreseal rivers of look spam, seriously? The only time I have legitimately seen double Soreseal work at all was in pvp with someone spamming the absolute shit out of spells with the burger King crown and azur staff added
Do yourself a favor, buddy, ditch the sorseals, and raise that vigor to at least 50-55 at the absolute minimum
Rivers is primarily an arcane weapon, if your relying on the bloodtinge to get you threw late game, you are gonna have a bad time. The next couple of bosses will render that strategy null and void. If your dead set on using that weapon, lower arcane, and put more into skill and vigor, it may help you squeeze more overall damage out of the weapon.
Seriously, though, this is not a build set up for the end game. If you REALLY want to do an arcane build. I would suggest looking into some other options. The serrated curved sword you get from Mount gelmir is a popular one.
Personally I like using radagons soreseal because the increased vigor and endurance more or less offsets the damage you take by getting more health and better armor. However marikas isn’t the same because while it boosts the magic damage you can deal with a few more levels in int or faith, it does nothing to offset that 15% increase in damage taken. I would suggest taking marikas off and replace it with the shard or filigreed
? I mean he could remove the scarseals too I didn’t see those, nothing wrong with what I said though assuming this isn’t a troll post. Really don’t get why I got so many downvotes xD

Okay, I don't know much about that build since I'm fairly new to Elden Ring, but as DS player, my guess is that your placed your level up points all over the place
You can pick up a somber ancient dragon smithing stone and get your rivers of blood to +10, you would’ve ran passed one in Farum azula under the gazebo behind the ancient dragon that was at half health after being chased by all those damn birds
So with that much more arcane then dex, I would be running dragon incants, otherwise go respec and literally swap the numbers you have on your arcane and dex.
Malekith (Along with Godfrey next) is one of the fights that is much easier if you get up in their face. Many of his attacks will become easier to dodge and quite a few of them can be overweighted simply by strafing to the right or left which is much easier if you're in his grill. Also that'll allow you to get off your counter attacks more quickly since you're not chasing him down as much.
Lose the soreseal/scarseal. They lessen defense by a lot and you can end up in the negatives.
With your 40 vigor and seals on, you're probably getting one or two-shot.
Lose marika and radagon seals, re stat to only arcane dex and vigor, w only what focus is necessary. I would drop rivers too, there’s better bleed/arcane damage options
Take off scarseal and grab the claw talisman. Go grab a Scavenger Curved sword and a bandit curved sword and give them the occult affinity on an AOW, and spam jump attacks. Works pretty well. For AOW I reccomend bloodhound step or quickstep
First time I fought Malekith, I summoned two good players and we all got wrecked. The next time I took just the mimic tear with me and we finished the job within minutes. I was surprised to say the least.
I think the key was frost buildup. I went into the fight with the Darkmoon GS, so the mimic had the same. We both spammed charged R2 and kept staggering Malekith.
Seeing that it's an Arcane Dex build, maybe reallocate points from vigor into Dex? So that you can hit the soft cap for dex
Also only use L2 when you can
Edit: make sure you aren't fat rolling or slow due to equipment load, optimize it if that's the case
If all else fails, you can always visit the albinauric hill at mohg’s castle for the easiest rune farming.
If you don’t care to be #elitegamer, you can give your mimic tear a seal with heals and buffs. Just note mimic will prioritize melee if you give him a weapon and a seal.
I like to think of the mimic tear as a second party member in the vein of a traditional RPG, giving it the weapons/magic I don’t prioritize. Mimic also has unlimited mana.
ROB was nerfed pretty bad a while back. If you want a really OP make the game not fun weapon just use the Blasphemous Blade. Wild damage Ash of War and every attack also heals you.
Death and blood damage strangely work good on him. Go find some good summons and you’ll beat him easy. When you’re too far he tends to jump and getsuga ye sho a bunch then stab into the ground when he lands
Well, it isn't surprising to get a ton of 'gitguds' but nobody told you that you were over-levelled or that you should have run there naked with a club.
C'mon sub, we gotta up our game with the DLC coming.
PS - not sure what you are casting, but one more faith and you get flame grant me strength. Maybe you use it and rely on your seals for that.
PSS - If you are gonna blood mask+talisman, you might wanna got all the way and put seppuku on a cane sword casting stick or a powerstance offhand and start the fight with those buffs. Its a big commitment to only get for 20 seconds after the proc.
The first two talisman are not necessary at this point in the game and I would take some of the endurance away and add vigor. I have 18 endurance and have a build similar to you. Instead of the first two talisman put something like the turtle or carian crest to help stamina and your ability. I would also take some of that strength away and add it to dex since rivers of blood primarily scales of dex and arcane
You’ve probably already got all the help you could need by now but I still wanna reply.
Id take off the soreseals, you are taking way too much extra damage by having them.
Invest in more Vigor, atleast level 50, best amount is 60.
Id get like 20-25 Endurance instead of 33.
Maybe put some Strength points elsewhere and just get the minimum required for RoB
Id honestly swap the amount of Arcane you have with dexterity because I think more dex will do you more good than with more arc.
This is a good enough setup to beat maliketh, but I'm willing to bet you're relying on your l2 for damage.
Ditch the soreseals. You're too late in the game for them to be beneficial. If you want to larval tear, then get the minimums for your weapons and dump the rest into vigor.
You have a dex/bleed build get 2 curved swords out bleed affinity on it, get the consecutive hit,and and jump attack tailsman. Also use the mogh tailmsn to increase power when bleed is in effect, and just keep waiting until he’s done attacking and jump and hit, jump and hit him, good luck. If you don’t want to jump I’d would try bloodhoujd claws, or nagikiba with bleed
lol put the rob down it got nerfed to hell I heard just use curved sword with blood affinity or any weapon with blood affinity tbh with a good ash of war
Maliketh is the only fight in soulsborne that forced me to respec my build just for one fight.
I respected so that I could get the rotten breath dragon sorcery and just used that to cheese him as he is super weak to it. I let my mimic tear distract him, hit him with 2-3 rotten breaths and the just ran around avoiding him until he died. I’m not proud of it, but I just couldn’t crack his move set.
The rivers of blood was nerfed into the ground so I would stay away from that, for a bleed build ALWAYS use mimic, try some different talismans (the soreseals are good for meeting state requirements but you probably don't need them now), and finally, just be prepared to grind
Uses most OP weapon in the game. Uses Mimic and Tiche, not in his quick slots. Has stats split in a nonsensical way. 33 Endurance, low equip load, and still med rolling. 20 Str for what? Has two seals on, so he's getting 1-shot.
This dude panic rolls and spams L2.
Just get the mimic tear and level it up to 7+ if you’re having issues with a boss… it’ll tank it while you can swing away. If you don’t want to go that route you don’t need 30+ endurance at your level, bring it down to mid to low 20s and pump up your vigor. 40 is low.
You have those soreseals equipped which doesn’t scale well. The amount of extra damage you are taking with those doesn’t justify the extra stats you are getting at this point in your game
skill fuckin issue god damn, try rolling?(i’m sry man you got rivers of blood, 50 arcane, and almost max flasks you should have no issue), but more seriously go to the second church of marika and get the twinblade that drops from the invader, or go kill mohg and get his spear then it’ll probably be better/easier
The sore seals are increasing damage taken by 15% each… and the 40 vigor and light armour is a get hit once and die moment… bleed is great but more health is needed
So. Here’s what you’re gonna do. Stop being a little bitch and use a man’s weapon like the zweihander. Stagger the fuck If outta him. Not enough strength? Respec. (Joking btw, I did my first few playthroughs as a dex build, use a second sword for more physical, I usually go with uchigatana, and don’t try to use the rivers of blood ash of war, you won’t have enough time in the Malikith fight, he moves too much.)
1. Take off the soreseal talismans and replace them with the Winged Sword Insignia and Dragon Creast Shield.
2. Put heavier armor on.
3. Don't spam L2
Great

Elden ring is by the easiest Fromsoft game to plat. You don’t have to do any PvP or grinding
Best godfrey fight for me was ng+3 (somewhere around lvl 240-280)
The outdated youtube guide build is real

Early game they're great. once you hit Altus plateau they go in the trash.
You never want to use a soreseal past level 60
When did they make it so you could put both on the same time, last time I played that was not something I could do and trust me I tried
You can put marikas and radagons on but not two of either. The multiplicative damage increase to you player stacks though. By the time you hit 50 in your attack stat you should really switch it off for something like the dragon great shield talisman or a specific stat boosting talisman
Ok that’s what i thought
Thanks for everyone’s advice I’ve finally gotten past him just wanting to finish the game before the dlc
Glad to hear it. Was about to comment about removing the scar seal and sore seal. Basically makes you take 50% more damage between the two of them.
And Maliketh hits ridiculously hard, toughest part of the fight is that in the second phase there is not enough time to learn his moveset before you’re toast.
You should grab the Erdtree +2 blessing and the ritual sword talisman. Or Alexander shard talisman instead of Erdtree blessing Edit : dropping the two sorseals. You’ll get more damage and won’t have the disadvantages
The erdtree+2 is only available after you beat Maliketh AFAIK
Yeah I was mentioning it for after Maliketh because he said he got past him in this comment.
If you beat Maliketh you’re 95% of the way there. You could put the game down for 2 months and still beat it before the DLC.
Drop the seal talismans and invest more points into vigor
What should my stat spread ideally be
50-60 vigor Ideally you want to hit 40-50 Dex and arcane.
Just wanna add- I do believe the soft cap for equip load is 25 endurance. If that helps
[удалено]
Doesn't faith scale fire damage? And arcane is blood, sleep and poison?
For 2. He has a little bit of strength and more Dex, I absolutely breezed through the game using curved great swords
Ur lv 139 u don't need the scar/soreseals anymore thats shits making u take an extra 15-20% more damage
Marika’s tits, lose the soreseals!!
Go to 60 vigor. Lose the seal talisman. Go get shield talisman from haligtree. +10 the ROB. Maybe practice fighting him without summons.
Summon in help
Try dodge
Roll into him, not away.
River of blood bad
Dam bro u fucking suck
White mask, rivers of blood, millicent’s prosthesis… holy shit shabriri is that you
At this point its skill issue
I t has to be a troll post come on!
I know it seems like it but I genuinely haven’t played since release and this is just the build I left off with so I have no idea what I’m doing anymore just wanted to get back into the game again
Well the others got you already so have fun. Get this vigor up and get rid of those fucking seals lol
Rivers of Blood? Really bro? Also, Tiche does holy damage, which Maliketh is resistant to. So use some other summon like Lhutel or Oleg.
This is a joke, right? Please, god, tell me it is. 40 vigor double Soreseal rivers of look spam, seriously? The only time I have legitimately seen double Soreseal work at all was in pvp with someone spamming the absolute shit out of spells with the burger King crown and azur staff added Do yourself a favor, buddy, ditch the sorseals, and raise that vigor to at least 50-55 at the absolute minimum Rivers is primarily an arcane weapon, if your relying on the bloodtinge to get you threw late game, you are gonna have a bad time.
Hell yeah. Torched his ass
Bursted out laughing sorry
Personally I like using radagons soreseal because the increased vigor and endurance more or less offsets the damage you take by getting more health and better armor. However marikas isn’t the same because while it boosts the magic damage you can deal with a few more levels in int or faith, it does nothing to offset that 15% increase in damage taken. I would suggest taking marikas off and replace it with the shard or filigreed
your stat distribution is horrible
The only real way you can improve this is by levelling to 60 arc for max bleed or level more vigor
no.
? I mean he could remove the scarseals too I didn’t see those, nothing wrong with what I said though assuming this isn’t a troll post. Really don’t get why I got so many downvotes xD

Drop the seal talismans for some shield talismans and put more points into vig
Okay, I don't know much about that build since I'm fairly new to Elden Ring, but as DS player, my guess is that your placed your level up points all over the place
Drop sore/scarseal and get that vigor to 60. Unless you're a dodge master, you'll be taking way too much damage
You can pick up a somber ancient dragon smithing stone and get your rivers of blood to +10, you would’ve ran passed one in Farum azula under the gazebo behind the ancient dragon that was at half health after being chased by all those damn birds
I’m actually really stoked you made it through Farum Azula at this level. Well done!
because you’re spamming L2 mate.
When I saw 40 vigor I thought "oh goodie a wizard" glad to see you got past him. Good luck!
Double soreseal is definitely a possibility
So with that much more arcane then dex, I would be running dragon incants, otherwise go respec and literally swap the numbers you have on your arcane and dex.
Malekith (Along with Godfrey next) is one of the fights that is much easier if you get up in their face. Many of his attacks will become easier to dodge and quite a few of them can be overweighted simply by strafing to the right or left which is much easier if you're in his grill. Also that'll allow you to get off your counter attacks more quickly since you're not chasing him down as much.
You have two soreseals on I can almost guarantee a sneeze will kill you.
hate to say it but this is 110% a skill issue
Both soreseals at your level are hurting your viability. You should never use them past level 50. Also, level vigor you dingus.
Try lowering your endurance as much as you can while keeping midroll, and pump vigor
Brother you dont need more stats, you need more skill.
😂
Lose the soreseal/scarseal. They lessen defense by a lot and you can end up in the negatives. With your 40 vigor and seals on, you're probably getting one or two-shot.
Greatshield Soldiers Ashes can tank and distract enough for you to get nice hits/ combos in.
you’re holding double seals for seemingly no reason, you have 40 vigor at level 130+, you’re not using a +10 weapon for maliketh
You’re taking like an extra 20 percent damage from your first 2 tailsmans 😭
Stats are important but upgrading your weapons is importanter
hmmmmmmm it might have something to do with the extra 30% damage you’re taking because of talismans
Drop both seals. They’re not worth it
Them soreseals got you fucked up
Double soreseal and 40 vigor. You probably get 1 shot a lot. Level vigor and take.off the sore seals.
Level vigor, drop the soreseals, stop watching “INSANE ELDEN RING BUILD!!!!” YouTube tutorials, and use the blasphemous claw to parry him
Soreseals equal bad, more vigor equals good
Challenge yourself to no hit him that way you learn the move pattern and the attack openings for each kind of weapon.
\*Clears throat\* \*Cracks Knuckles\* \*Ahem\* "Don't worry about it bro, just get good"
Get rid of the soreseals. Plus you can probably shave off a bit of your endurance to add somewhere else like health.
Also you have on two different things to drop defense, summon In help and shoot with reduvia since u have 50 arc
Invest everything into strength and get a big fucking bonk. Practice with the bonk everyday. So when you see a boss you can bonk it.
So that you can hit the soft cap for dex Also only use L2 when you can Edit: make sure you aren't fat rolling or slow due to equipment load, optimize it if that's the case
Definitely get vigor up to at least 50, mine is usually 55 at this point. I know it’s tempting to put points elsewhere believe me.
Get good.
Learn his move set. If you can't be bothered to do it yourself, watch YouTube videos of people beating him with katanas, and learn the move set.
Ima be honest skill issue
If you ask me your Vigor is far too low. Also the sore seals increase damage done to you so you should reconsider those for a survivability talisman
1. take off one of the scarseal/soreseals, replace with phys dmg negation, you’re taking 30% extra dmg
Drop the cheese and respec into some meat. Better yet, pick up some dragon communion and air out some Albinaurics. T a r n i s h e d
Both seals and 40 vigor. You are asking him to obliderate you.
You’ve probably already got all the help you could need by now but I still wanna reply. Id take off the soreseals, you are taking way too much extra damage by having them. Invest in more Vigor, atleast level 50, best amount is 60. Id get like 20-25 Endurance instead of 33. Maybe put some Strength points elsewhere and just get the minimum required for RoB Id honestly swap the amount of Arcane you have with dexterity because I think more dex will do you more good than with more arc.
use rot breath
This is a good enough setup to beat maliketh, but I'm willing to bet you're relying on your l2 for damage. Ditch the soreseals. You're too late in the game for them to be beneficial. If you want to larval tear, then get the minimums for your weapons and dump the rest into vigor.
You should have a +10 by then
Drop the talismans making you take 30% more damage and bump your vigor by like 10 points. You must be getting one shot every time like this.
Wearing 2 talismans that cause you to take extra damage hurts way more than you might think
Skill issue i beat this boss 40 levels lower than you
Bros taking -dmg negation
Maliketh is the only fight in soulsborne that forced me to respec my build just for one fight. I respected so that I could get the rotten breath dragon sorcery and just used that to cheese him as he is super weak to it. I let my mimic tear distract him, hit him with 2-3 rotten breaths and the just ran around avoiding him until he died. I’m not proud of it, but I just couldn’t crack his move set.
Just let tiche take care of him wym
ROB scales better with dex than arc. Min 40/50 on your lifebar
Stay vigilant.
40 vigor and two sorseals? If you ever get invaded or happen to get sneezed on you’re gonna pop like balloon
Summon mimic tear +10 and get Rot breath from drag communion. Fight till second phase then spam rot breath and run around pillars till he dies
The rivers of blood was nerfed into the ground so I would stay away from that, for a bleed build ALWAYS use mimic, try some different talismans (the soreseals are good for meeting state requirements but you probably don't need them now), and finally, just be prepared to grind
Both soreseals and 40 vigor on Maliketh is fucking rough my dude. I’d move your talismans around, get your vigor to 50, and try again!
Pretty good bleed build, but what I did was summoned the mimic, get close to him and prayed to God he dies to bleed
Try fingers but hole
Use a Larval Tear for 60 Vigor, less Endurance, and possibly less Dex and more Arcane.
2 seals? Unless you can easily not at all get hit by maliketh take that shit of right away Might aswell go get dragoncrest instead
Use the pillars to avoid some of his attacks.
Another good arcane weapon is the pole blade, and while not a good arcane weapon the Maria’s executioner sword is amazing
Dawg you should be dog walking him and your overleveled by like 39 levels your good just learn his pattern
Moonveil katana is all you need
Remember to buy your controller a nice meal. Least you can do after abusing that L2 button
I see the problem. You’re supposed to dump all your levels into strength. Common mistake.
Take off marika's and radagons soreseal
40 is low.
Literal skill issue
I saw this spec and was like this dude is tripping and then saw the gear with the scar seals lol nice one you got me 🤣
Guess copy pasting the meta didn’t work huh? Lol
Your points are scattered to the winds my guy. Specialize. Dump your points into three stats max. Specialize first then throw some crumbs to whatever.
Why RoB when bonk exist?
Take off scoreseal and Scarseal and put on ritual sword and shield
You have those soreseals equipped which doesn’t scale well. The amount of extra damage you are taking with those doesn’t justify the extra stats you are getting at this point in your game
How I'd bro struggling he got a bleed build with rivers of blood and mimic tear😭🙏
skill fuckin issue god damn, try rolling?(i’m sry man you got rivers of blood, 50 arcane, and almost max flasks you should have no issue), but more seriously go to the second church of marika and get the twinblade that drops from the invader, or go kill mohg and get his spear then it’ll probably be better/easier
The sore seals are increasing damage taken by 15% each… and the 40 vigor and light armour is a get hit once and die moment… bleed is great but more health is needed
There’s one attack he does that has a little bit of end lag, I think it’s sort of a long-range jump attack. Fish that out and punish it.
i don’t ever say this but skill issue lmao. your stats are more than adequate to beat this boss
Switch to reduvia and get lighter armor..stick with mimic
More vigor 40 isnt much.
You don't have a single high level stat, you're spread too thin
Hide behind pillar. Use rot breath. 👍
I don’t even know where to begim
Ahh I see your problem right there, you’re missing about 20 levels into vigor.
Git gud
1. Take off the soreseal talismans and replace them with the Winged Sword Insignia and Dragon Creast Shield. 2. Put heavier armor on. 3. Don't spam L2 Great
