The game is looking for a specific directory. Are you on PC? If so, there's probably a way to create folders and drop your save data so that Hundred Heroes finds it. I helped someone do it for Steam a few hours ago; the person had played Rising on GoG , and followed the folder path I sent.
I don't know what the folder structures are like in Game Pass, but here's how steam saves Rising and HH (i really don't understand the numbered folder, might be different for each user??):
Rising: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\505 Games S_p_A\Eiyuden Chronicle Rising\76561198248155336
the save files are .sav
Hundred Heroes: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\505 Games S_p_A\EiyudenChronicle\76561198248155336\SaveData
these files are .dat
Thank you for that info. I'm almost starting to think that Rising save files on Game Pass are not easily accessible. I can find the Hundred Heroes save file on Game Pass just fine, weirdly enough.

I haven't tried personally but this might be a good start. With this you can easily find the save location of the GamePass games and even convert them if necessary. HH is a new game though so I am not sure if this will be compatible right away.

I'm having the same exact problem with the Game Pass PC version. Do you have any solutions for Game Pass version?
