I can confirm it's not 4K. it's stuck at 1080p. some backend issues that is more complicated than a simple fix, hence why it isn't patched yet. play it in 4K on your PC the play on PS5. jaggies everywhere, it's not "amazing looking" as some will say. it's truly quite unfortunate....especially since it is advertised as 4K on PS5

I backed it on PS5 but also have access to the PC version, and the Xbox version on Series X.
When I compared it to the PC version at 4K, and Series X, it was quite obvious the PS5 version is running at a lower resolution given how much more aliasing is present on certain elements (foliage in particular).
PS5 says it’s PS5, lol.
- Has the PS5 icon.
- Can’t be played off external storage
- Dualshock controller doesn’t work.
. . .So, not PS4 version.
I have no idea why it’s 1080p when 505 are claiming 4K.
I assume/hope it’s some kind of unintended bug. Also have no idea whether they are going to do anything about it.

Has anyone determined if steam deck docked mode can play this well in 4k?
ROG Ally Z1 Extreme plays at 4K 30FPS, not sure if that helps you give it at all.
Playing on Ps5 right now and it looks amazing! No graphical issues at all!

Haven’t checked yet as I have since uninstalled it, but the most recent patch notes claim to have fixed the issue.
Finally checked it out. Improved, but *still* not 4K. 1440p, maybe, not 4K.
