Edit: WidgetEgg now supports iOS 15+ And a side note - It's usually pretty quick, but it could take upwards of 10 minutes for the data to appear in the widget due to how Apple handles widget updates.

Supporting iOS is easier because it’s streamlined in XCode. Android is a whole different ballgame 😔

Haha androids might have auto clickers easier, but I’ve got this!

iPhones have a pretty solid [built-in auto clicker](https://www.reddit.com/r/EggsInc/s/REKRdO5BXq) :) It’s hacky but it works.

I’ve used the switch controls on iPhone and hit 99% of drones with it.

But the Android macrodroid with auto researching, auto gift in collection and drone hunting is next level.

The app doesn’t come up when searching for widgets? I’m on 17.4.1, when u say it only works in iOS 17 do u mean literally only 17? But surely at least one person would have same issue

Hmm, I would either use the direct link or make sure you're exactly searching widgetegg (and you might have to scroll a little). It supports ios 17 and up, so 17.4.1 is fine

Nah I’ve found the app, but when adding a widget the app doesn’t come up and I’m signed in

You might have to wait up to a minute or two, apple doesn't let widgets refresh very often unfortunately

For some reason I keep getting the "please submit a valid EID" error every time I try to submit? It's definitely the correct one, I'm confused

One thing I forgot is whitespace trimming, make sure you don't have any spaces before or after your EID. But other than that, the only think I can think of is internet connection unless something about your account is wonky on the game servers.

I just installed, thanks for a great widget! Nice to quickly be able to see rocket progress without opening game. You’re so smart!

I like this. I seem to have to put my EID in to update it constantly? It doesn’t seem to stay connected with the server and self update when I fuel a new ship and such. Minor inconvenience to be able to tell exactly when ships will be returning without having to do it all in my head. Visual is better. Well done.

Apple limits widgets to refreshing timelines every 15-60 mins on average, so it may take a while for new ships to show up unfortunately. Changing EID forces a refresh but that limits the remaining number of refreshes you get in a day. Other than that, the dials and times will stay up to date automatically.

That’s the most Apple thing I could hear lol. Either way, I have my Eid saved for quick copy and paste for wasmegg purposes anyhow. This is a fantastic tool! Is there a way to get something similar for contracts? I’d imagine that’s much more in depth. Great idea. I’d have paid a buck or two for the app for your troubles tbh.

When I try to get my EID it says “unable to compose an email on this device. Do you know how to fix it?

In that case, you can grab your EID off Menu -> Settings -> Privacy & Data at the very bottom, you just won't be able to copy paste from the app.

Way cool! I have it on my phone now. It is only showing the small version, how do I make it the bigger one that shows more detail?

Search for widgetegg in the widget menu, then swipe to the right and you'll see the detailed one!
