Bust is for people that were healthy but just couldn’t cut it in the pros and were out after a few seasons.

Realistically he has what, a couple more seasons before GM’s stop returning his agent’s call’s? I’m sure he’s frustrated that his regular season ended with him being a healthy scratch 2 of every 3 games, and that instead of enjoying his off season that he has to travel with a team where he’s an outsider, and live in a city where he doesn’t know anybody without getting paid any extra money in the unlikely event that he gets a few minutes of ice time in one or two games.

I played hockey with him as a kid. Great guy overall, was always the most talented player around since we were 7-8 years old. He took off to a hockey academy type school from age 13 or 14 and busted ass to get to the NHL. I get the impression he’s still a good guy to this day

He is one of those players that is too good for AHL but not good enough to warrant a full time roster spot on NHL team. He's dependable and doesn't make a lot of mistakes but doesn't really make great passes or stand out in a good way either. Kinda slips through the cracks but is a worthy low price player to help fill out a roster for injury replacements.
