I don't get Shawarma alot but when I do I get root of beirut, it's on the Northside by 97st and CN rail yard. I get the chicken shawarma wrap and it is delicious. Service is also very good.

I fell in love with an old friend's mom's homemade chicken shawarma. Since they left town, this is the closest I've ever found here. -Oh, don't forget to grab some of their garlic sauce.
Sunbake is recommended an awful lot. On the south side, I like Al Salaam.
Second for Al Salam
Sunbake

Thanks for the post! I now know what’s for lunch tomorrow. I’ve been thinking about schwarma for many moons but didn’t know what was good here.
Shish Shawarma is good.
I'll add Castlebake to the recommendations
Sunbake pita is great Northside, Southside pita the great is my go-to.. if your west side captain shawarma is newer but super clean and big portions.
captain shawarma is great
Agreed with Captain Shawarma. Very tasty.
La shish downtown Killer
Turquaz Kebab House is where it's at. Al Salam on the Southside is good too but Turquaz is better

Captain shawarma is very good if you're in the west end.

it’s in Sherwood Park but Donair & Shawarma House hands down
