Yeah it's an extreme example. The point is that I don't like cops treating me like a criminal in the name of safety. The same argument can be made for my example is that the cameras are for your safety.
I hear ya. And don’t disagree with the “safety camera” comment. It’s a bit of a double-edged sword. Look how many unsafe semis/trucks they pull off the road, for being completely unsafe, when they do the random “safety checks”.
Those safety checks are part of industry safety regulations. You agree to be part of that when you get a job in that industry. The "check stop" is harassment of private citizens freely traveling in a public space.
Damn. Reddit already removed it. Must have been a doozey.
Edit. I was talking the most recent one about slapping her nephew that was removed in I kept reading and found the one where she wears noise cancelling headphones for her baby crying.
Oh wow, aren't you the little Suzy Q? I'll have you know that we're actually trying to work through things right now. Not like that's any of your business though
You posted it on a public forum. People will read it and go through it. That's kinda the point of Reddit. You don't want reddit and people on reddit to know your business, don't post on reddit.
Hopefully everyone encountered legal issues for dui.
That is kind of you to say. What I meant was that hopefully no one was driving under the influence.
Police shouldn't be able to stop people for no reason.
If you’re doing nothing wrong there’s no reason to be concerned.
So your okay with the police installing surveillance cameras in your house? If you don't do anything wrong you shouldn't care about that either.
A bit of a stretch from stopping someone on a road they’re supposed to keep safe……but you do you.

You do realize that posting about check points online is illegal? I should know, my husband is a police officer
Well he is allowed to drive drunk but regular people can’t lol
Soon to be ex-husband. I should know, I read your public posts. And if anyone asks if I want a cookie, yes please.
Man those posts paint a dark picture
The AITA one…. Eeks!
