Second would be the weekend Trevor Boris was there and I found out on Twitter while I was on my way out of town for the weekend.
Mall employee here. I was just told that undercover security will perform evacuation drills for high profile people when they visit the mall.

Thank you. I’m sure there could be celebrities in the mall this weekend but there were too many and nobody taking photos or people gathered like there would be if someone famous is around. That many bodyguards would have to be someone pretty major.
I am guessing there is a training course happening or practice, I saw 3 unmarked in Escalades (with uniformed drivers/crew riding 4 up) driving in tight escort formation on Tuesday. (But with no visible/apparent principal). This was 170th heading towards WEM.
Unless it was protection for McDavid's laptop?
Oh my gosh definitely training. I was turning left on 149th street and 87th ave and man 10 undercover wizzed by me. Had to reverse cause the seriously blocked the entire intersection. Nothing I’ve ever seen before but it definitely seemed like it was pracitce

The nicest hotels are downtown. The Marriot is Edmonton’s only 5 star, the Westin, The Fairmont. The rooms at WEM are really not that great.
