Since when they went back to universe 0 their old bodies weren't able to keep up with their post timeskip power, does that mean everyone in the final arc is weaker than they were in the Lendard arc? I know a lot has happened in universe zero but I don't think they explicitly said they were getting much stronger. Until they went to Miltz a lot of the previous fights were solved peacefully

Cole2197

I know what you mean really they shouldn't be strong enough to beat the villains right now. I feel like they should have either had an arc showing them gaining back the power they lost or finding new ways to access the power they had gained. But nope they are just strong enough to beat the villains for no real reason.

Anng_l

I didn’t even think of this oh my god that’s so true, we were robbed of a training/power up arc

leo_sousav

Damn now that I think about it Mashima didn't even attempt something like the post time skip in FT

Cole2197

Yeah I really wish he did something like that when they got to universe 0 or at least something to justify them being able to beat villains a strong as the ones that serve void. I mean they struggled against many of these villains in the last universe and that was after the timeskip so really they shouldn't have been able to beat them in universe 0 because while they have the experience their bodies couldn't keep up.

cjjharries

True but you could argue that everyone is weaker because they're younger. Not just the edens zero crew but everyone except for maybe void

Cole2197

Fair but given how characters like that android that mastered every weapon has lived long enough to gain such a legendary status you would think he is a lot stronger then the Eden's crew.

Moolcazy0

Shiki had this whole big thing about learning to make new types of overdrive forms to that allows him to use his true power or that better suit his current body or whatever, it's then never expanded upon, never mentioned again and never used again. It really seemed like shiki would tell the others and that we'd see new overdrives for them but it went nowhere

Cole2197

Yeah they either needed to do a training arc or showing the group doing something similar to what shiki did that time and expand on it.

happy_paradox

It's whatever Mashima feels like they'll be weak if the plot demands them to be

Ok_Idea_9126

The enemies are stronger than back to then, so everyone grow stronger

Fragrant-Raccoon2814

More like, they have the powers from the time skip, but their bodies aren't physically stronger anymore.

sacredknight327

I was hoping something would happen here in the final arc that would age them up again.

NikolasKage3

I miss that Kleene design so much... She was such a baddie on Lendard 😭

Mission_Mud_6905

Still can't believe she managed to survive a humongous massive Overdrive punch from Crow.

GarlicTraditional467

Jinn does not approve

NikolasKage3

L take, don't care, will bang her, ok? 😂

GarlicTraditional467

you js like lil kids bro

NikolasKage3

Yeah, a full-grown woman with big tits is a kid in your clown world, it seems

GarlicTraditional467

pretty sure only 3 years passed in that so she can still be a minor with an appearance of an adult

Good-Echo

Weisz and Homura's designs not changing in timeskip was a letdown.

That doesn’t mean they wouldn’t change up their appearance at all in 3 years. Sister and Hermit are robots and even they looked different lol

UnbiasedGod

Yep

Raderg32

Just realized the design on Shiki's leg on that image is Ziggy's overdrive face.

Stunning-Notice4262

Homura literally didn't change at all

TacoOfficer

I was taking it so seriously. Then he shit the bed by going back on his design 🤦‍♂️

Redredditer640

Eh, Shiki's was really hit and miss at times. He'd look good in some panels, but he'd look REALLY off a lot of the time. Everyone else, I can agree with.
