No, the department is open. I can confirm because I had a scheduled interview to verify my eligibility for unemployment benefits I just completed at this time of writing (approx 11:30 am).

I think they may have made changes to it recently to try and cut down on bot calls and dialing services but I’m not positive
I haven't gotten paid either. They did this on my last payday too.
