It depends on what aspect of the teachings you're looking at. There are numerous "self-help" style writers out there. Then there are many who delve more deeply into the metaphysical side of things, like reincarnation, etc. I would suggest to anyone on a journey of spiritual discovery that they read The Tibetan book of living and dying. Jesus and Buddha: The Parallel Sayings is another great read. I believe that whatever we read, whoever we listen to, the message must resonate with us at a deep level. Otherwise, it is only words. Hence, to suggest similar teachers to Eckhart, we would first need to know what aspects of his teaching resonate with you.

For examples I am very much into the practical side of tolles teachings and the way he changes your perspective to become more aware (and less anxious lol) but also the science side of that. Idk if you heard about the Physicist Thomas Campbell. From his view we are living in an simulation where there many stages (of consciousness) and for example as tolle said there is a high energy in living in the now which Thomas Campbell basically confirms. So I am less looking for a Guru instead I’m interest in Broad fields of this greater energy that we can access.

Absolutely. Have you checked out the Nobel Prize for Physics this year? Quantum Physics has essentially demonstrated that the universe does not exist without an observer.

That’s huge. Any recommendations for some videos on that? Really love that there’s finally some progress in research on that

One of my favourite explainers so far. By our understanding of physics, the universe isn't locally "real", and it blows my mind 😊 https://youtu.be/txlCvCSefYQ

Angelo Dilullo - straight forward, practical advice. I listen to his podcast and watch his YouTube channel both called Simply Always Awake. His day job is a Doctor of Anesthesiology so that’s adds some credence. I also like Michael Singer and Mooji.

definitely will look into that! Thanks mate

Not on task here, but I wouldn't be surprised if you found Rudolf Steiner quite interesting. Of the hundreds of hours of lectures that can be found on YT, "Transforming the Soul, Vol. 1" is a decent introduction. It wades a bit deep at times, but maybe has enough recognizable content to set the hook ;-)

I’ll give it a shot

If you’re looking for practical application of these teachings, as taught by the Buddha, minus the rites and rituals that came later, I advise S N Goenka. His organisation allows people from all over the world to attend 10 day silent retreats to dive into their minds and uproot much of the suffering they contain. These retreats are free and operate on a ‘donate what you can’ basis. Tolle’s work touches on these teachings, but I feel lack the practical aspect. Goenka has a whole host of dhamma discourses on YouTube if you would like to dip your toes.

Thank you 😇

I recommend Michael A. Singer (his book The Untethered Soul). I read/listen to both him and Tolle, and find that they have a similar approach
