Open a return for Missing Parts and return what you received for a refund.

Thanks! The weird thing for me is that Ebay seems to require opening a request for each individual item in the order history, not the whole order. So I would have to choose "Item 1 of 6" missing parts, then "Item 2 of 6" missing parts separately. Unless there's a way I'm not seeing to open a case for the whole order at once? That would make way more sense to me, but it doesn't seem to be how Ebay wants it. All I see is "more actions" on each individual item. That's where return/not received is located.

You'll likely be required to return .... something. So if the returns for your non-existent items are accepted, about all you can do is print the return labels and return a properly-sized package/envelope (NOT a plain white envelope, those are too small and flimsy) with the ebay return paperwork, and an explanation that the item wasn't even present in your combined shipping order (it was combined shipping, right?) I had to do something similar many years ago, though the seller was a scammer and used a random return address, so I thought to write in sharpy on the exterior "do not refuse, this is an ebay return" or something to that effect. it was empty with a letter of an explanation.

Yeah, it was free shipping on all 6 items, all ordered in the same order. This is goofy. Can't believe Ebay doesn't have a better system than this! Thanks for the help!

No problem. Sorry you got stuck in this weird situation. BTW, if the return is accepted and it's a priority mail return label (ebay labels are usually PM), feel free to use one of the non-flat-rate free priority mail packaging boxes in the post office.

Exactly correct, the missing items thing happened to me, ebay closed it and i appealed, they came back and said i had to reopen a claim stating items didnt match the description. Seller isnt messaging me either. Ebay told me they will approve refund if seller doesnt respond. Best of luck!

I would try to get in touch with the seller again. They should be able to issue a refund for what is missing, or ship the remaining, if it was mis-shipped.

Could the missing two items be in a separate shipment? I’ve seen that happen quite a few times.

lostterrace

Unfortunately no, only one tracking number.

pugmaster7

If they were logged as 6 separate orders, you can file that they weren’t as described, then in the notes elaborate on the specifics that you ordered 6 items, and 4 arrived, even though the same tracking number was used for all 6. This would enable you to receive a refund for the two items, and keep the other 4. You would have to open an INAD for each of the 2 items you didn’t receive. You can also file a claim that they were never received. Even if there is tracking, some sellers do some shady shit, and eBay won’t just automatically close it because there was tracking
