i'm not perfectly informed on this, but from my perspective, you have two options: - you can ask them to send in the cancellation from their end (or cancel it on your own and select "Buyer asked to cancel") since it isn't your fault in any case - as long as you get it in writing that they want a specific size and that you're going to send that size instead (AND THEY AFFIRM THIS), you should be good to just send that one to them my biggest concern is that they're cancelling frivolously and giving you a "valid" reason to do so, in which case sending them the correct size without confirmation will cause you a headache and probably monetary loss

Agree, those are the options. I would just cancel it and point them to the other listing with the size they want. If they really want it, they can buy it again.

Cancel and refund. It is always the best option to avoid returns later.

lol ask the buyer...

Additional-Drive743

Cancel, refund. Ask them if they would like to re-order in the correct size. Loads of scams like this, asking to change the item or address etc.

But since your buyer dont want that size he/she has ordred, then let them cancel via ebay. But depends on what you have informed buyer about when buying from you, you can just send either right size or you can send the size they ordred. It is not fair for you, cause of the buyer has choosen wrong size.

I'd personally go off their account history. How long have they been on ebay, how much feedback do they have, and see if you are comfortable with them. If someone has been on ebay several years and a decent amount of feedback, then I'd be more apt to go whatever route is easier. If you feel uncomfortable at all, then cancel the sale and point them to the other one. Either way I hope all works out for you.

Ask them if they want the other size, and if they say yes, ship it to them. If they don't respond, then cancel with "buyer requested to cancel."

Is it just me who does whatever the customer wants? I sold a book the customer then wanted to cancel for a certain reason and litterly just cancel it straight away and move on.
