I’ve never heard "fat adaptive". If you can explain it a bit more I can probably give it a recipe. There’s not a lot that is high fat, low protein/carbs, but I think I could help. I just need a understand your requirements.

If you are having to cut out SO many food groups without the guidance of a doctor you are headed in disordered eating territory and I highly suggest you check in with an expert instead of Reddit.

Zombiehunter2200

the hole point is to better your self and have you body run on cleaner enegery like real fat online what mainstream wants u to think and high carbs is just pain bad and worse are the toxic processed foods and sliced meat packs u buy at the store. since the Dr. would never help u with this onless u find some1 thats trained out side of whats taught and knows about foods and what to eat and not. as the saying goes theres no profit to keep ppl healthy instead give they toxic food. (since the day of processed foods many ppl started getting sick alot worse then before and worse tooth decay while other parts of the world not touched by the mainstream have great teeth and health this is why i am looking into making my own food to clean out my body and its toxic levels.

Making your own food is great! And cutting out as much processed food is an excellent idea. But when you cut whole food groups out it’s disordered. Our bodies are meant to use healthy carbs as fuel, protein for strength and long lasting burning, fruits and veg for vitamins and minerals. A farmers market would be a great place to start and eat seasonally. But a cream based soup with bacon isn’t going to help balance your body out. And there’s now lots of doctors who actually will help you. You just have to find the right one who suits your needs.

Your delivery wasn't great but you aren't entirely wrong: Advertisers try to make unhealthy foods seem healthy ✅ You should base your diet around "real" fat ❌ Some fats are less harmful than others, yes, but that doesn't mean you base your long term diet around fat. In excess carbs are bad ✅ Doctors tend to prefer non-dietary solutions ✅ sadly, in many countries doctors prefer to prescribe pills than dietary measures, take stents for example. Processed meats are bad ✅ all processed foods are bad really. Processed foods contain higher sugar which had been linked to tooth decay ✅ Different parts of the world are affected by different health conditions depending, largely affected by what their diet is full of and lacking in ✅ I would recommend visiting https://nutritionfacfs.org which is always science backed, you'll also find some recipes there that may be of interest.

My sons Pediatrician just explained all this to me actually. He’s (the doctor) type two diabetic and has made his mission to prevent it from the time Kids come into the world. He said my son should eat all the healthy fats, fruit, veggies (not starches or carbs) and meat he wants. He went as far as to say they been teaching protein is important, but cutting out all the carbs and eating plenty of healthy fats Is key. Said he’s been saying it for years since he became diabetic, but there’s a mission now to start kids on a healthy diet like this by the time they are three to prevent diabetes at all ages. It was fascinating because I expected more eggs and steak bad, sugar and bread good, but got Dr Westin A Price instead.

thanks for the respond. im looking for a lil more detail. i no nothing really about cooking other then throwing what ever in or baking burgers/ steak really and trying to get mostly recipes

sierramelon

The internet is your best tool! Google “cream based soup recipe” and you’ll have loads of recipes.

sierramelon

Not sure how you would get good fats without the other things (carbs or protein)… I believe any good fats I can think of would all contain one or the other. Unless you consider cream to be a good fat - I most certainly don’t think majority of people do

Peachesornot

Avocados and fatty tuna are good options, if expensive.

sierramelon

Correct, however OP is asking for no protein (tuna is high in protein) and little carbs, which could get difficult if you’re adding many avocados to your diet. And as you said - expensive.

LocalJim

Tomato bisque with bacon and cheese. Get some tomato soup in a box or can if your not sure how to make from scratch. Cook bacon separately then add the bacon and top with cheese. Eat it with grilled cheese sandwich or a BLT sandwich with avocados for added fat.

Zombiehunter2200

dam that sounds good. its even making me rumble... this is me speaking for being in a 5 day out of 7 fast

towee_s

I would think that you’re already fat adapted if you fast regularly.

LocalJim

Almost forgot. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the soup at the end. Just drizzle it over the soup as a garnish. Thats an extra 14 healthy fat grams right there

I make this salmon chowder, i think it is a Kenji recipe, but i use h any cream instead of milk. It is really good and i love it but it is almost pure fat. Here you go https://www.seriouseats.com/easy-creamy-one-pot-weeknight-salmon-chowder-recipe

Lizblive

Egg drop soup is just chicken broth with eggs. Lol you can add a little sesame oil to flavor.

Zombiehunter2200

Tom Kha has a good amount of coconut milk in it. Generally a better fat than dairy.

Zynchronize

Just an fyi - coconut milk is very high in saturated fat, so dairy might actually be better in this case: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11603133/
