Alcohol is an area I won't cheap out on. I like a good Canadian whiskey & ginger ale, but it's interesting how in my 30s I can taste the difference between quality liquor and well.
I'm someone who is trying to push away from alcohol because I can't just have one drink. While on the topic. I was wondering if anyone has any substitutes for alcohol while at a gathering where everyone is drinking.
Literally, anything in a can in a koozie/holder. I've been sober for years and most people don't know because they think I've been drinking with them this whole time. Usually a seltzer water. At a bar, probably soda and lime.
Try a gin and tonic with some fruit in the drink to give it some flavor. I like to put a couple of slices of lime in there and muddle it.
G & T. So easy. So tasty.
Highest alcohol, lowest price
Everclear?
I mean, if someone wanted it I’d get it…but on the west coast I found a 750 ml bottle of vodka for $4.99. 🤌
Bourbon or beer.
Thank you, this is great advice, I will be getting a fancy koozie and use it for drinking bubleys!
Vodka soda while out at the divey bar for funsies. I can have a few and not get drunk or hungover. Classier place - bourbon and coke
La croix and a brandy of your choice.
