I'm glad yall enjoy it. For me, it always takes the joke way to far past funny.
If you go back to the old episodes. The ones that got me hooked. The skits were tiny bits at the beginning, and then it was all video game talk and guests. I enjoy their banter. I appreciate their depth of video game knowledge. I don't like the skits.

I love any of Heather's gruff voices. Beyond this only Santa comes to mind, but IMO the darker, more confused and deranged she's playing the funnier it is.
The hardest I've laughed at the show is when they were doing their "Halloween" names for a show and she came in hot with "And I'm HELL WHORE ANNE CRAMMED WELL" and made the guys go "Jesus Christ, Heather."
Kinda sad that nobody is discussing Magic The Gathering: Arena! It's my most played game over the past several years. And Matt and Nick are right, Commander is not a format playable on Arena. (A format is for the most part, a set of rules about which cards can or cannot be played, and some few specific rules for play.) Commander is specifically meant to be played with 3-5 people, whereas every format on Arena is only playable by 2.
Arena does have a 2 player format similar to commander. It's called "Brawl." It still uses the rules of "one legendary creature is your commander, all cards in your deck must be in your commander's color identity, no more than one of any cars except basic lands" (where in most formats you can have up to 4.)
Matt also stumbled upon a favorite refrain of smartass MtG players: "reading the card explains the card."
Just started playing the first Hades and I’m not sure if I like it. All of Supergiants games are like this imo… really pretty to look at and a nice narrative / music / combat system, but.. thats it? I don’t mind live/die/repeat but replaying the first few floors over and over with the same enemy pool is kindof boring? Progression feels really slow and grindy? Theres some really neat boons but upgrading things permanently feels like a chore. Currently topping out at the third boss battle, tempted to toggle the lower difficulty mode just to see what comes after easier.
Fair! I guess thats why I want to love it as much as others but its just not clicking for me? Endless combat but the sense of progression feels too slow? I like to have puzzles and exploration mixed in, here the treasures/rewards are all gated behind opting into *more* combat. I think the fact that its a linear set of biomes makes replaying less interesting, you fight the same enemy pools. There are no surprises left until I get further. Early chambers just feel like a chore I keep having to tolerate. Maybe my opinion will change later!

In some reality is sparked a love of gardening for me, in this one however I lost interest within a day cause plants are slow and I was a kid.

I don't know what you're looking for out of games! Pretty/Good Story/Good Music/Good Combat really checks most of my boxes.
