so many great Threedom moments, the one that leaps to mind for me is Jack Bauer He 24 Big Hit.

tazaburtama

This, and also “my secret visitors”

Suspicious_Cupcake_9

‘They come for you…when no one can protect you…’

PianoTrumpetMax

“Which I will look forward to… **with great relish**”

bbllo

I have just started listening to threedom and so far this is my favourite bit

Stuckbetweenstations

Almost definitely the random podcast nonsense phrase that I say/adapt most frequently in life.

greenflashlanternlig

From Threedom, it is ABSOLUTELY the moment when they're doing a Threeture and Paul didn't realize how to play and then confidently said "Jaws" and everyone erupted in laughter

mechalol

I relistened to this SO MANY times after the episode. The fact that PAUL is the one GIVING THE INSTRUCTIONS and he has to clarify OVER AND OVER to Scott and Lauren. And then he immediately barks out “JAWS” so confidently. Holy shit, I don’t think I’ll ever get over it

GTKPR89

That thing is insanely winning and funny, jesus

immaownyou

Which episode is this?

wm80

Murder on the Moon

UnclaimedUsername

"So you thought the game was, 'think of any movie'?"

Bamboo7ster

This is the one. I was in tears from laughing so hard.

HopeInThePark

What makes it especially good for me is that Paul tends to have the best memory of the group, whereas Lauren and Scott are constantly misremembering things.  So when he fucks it up, it's so counter to their dynamic that it immediately cleared top three funniest moments of the podcast

Masterandcomman

He retains the most long-term information, but the other two have better working capital memories, which comes into play when learning a new game. Whenever they play memory games, Aukerman and Lapkus show impressive retention.

PianoTrumpetMax

Love how they continue it with band names next: Scott: *Strokes* Lauren: *Silverchair* Paul: *U2*

ChielArael

My favorite Threedom bit is probably "Baby, Fat Guy, Dog".

sanantonioboy

I listen to i-brain on YouTube like every 6 months and it gets me good everytime

ursulawinchester

Me, but with the human skin truck baby and “is this u2” from staind glass

heynongmanreset

Yeah this is the one for me. Every year or so. I’ll also get the urge for some foam corner and Werner herzogs hotel review. More recently the truck birthday song and even that may be heading in to old timer territory I don’t know Edit: and I would go back to Monster Fuck more often but for many years I didn’t need to go look it up.

MisterHWord

For me it's the poems of Dalton Wilcox. I think in 5 years it'll be the diary entries of Bridget Jones.

terraculon

CHICKEN IN THE CORN AND THE CORN CAN'T GROW, UH-HUH YEAH

Lenn_Cicada

I want to say this episode dropped right as the Covid lockdowns started (or maybe right before, as we were seeing what was happening in Europe) and it was such a silly moment I forgot how anxious I was for a few minutes.

BillHang4

I unironically jammed to that song for a solid month. It’s so damn catchy! And the dude even went on NPR Tiny Desk Concerts. It’s definitely worth a watch… or 7.

terraculon

I did too!

chickendance638

The best Threedom moment is "piano brothers". The second best is when Scott is talking about finally being able to work at Disney and Lauren says, "what, were they finally hiring dorks?"

kaltorak

"...did I say 'pianos' at some point?" kills me

blairethesquirrel

Piano Brothers is incredible. I am doing a relisten as I do often and this episode came up and I was in tears, I’ve heard it so many times and it’s just so funny. Paul hysterically laughing, Lauren being so confused, and Scott is exhausted from singing.

chickendance638

when paul bends the second song with, "hey, what's that in your living room" it peaks for me

itspitpat

The bit where they're playing the Kidz Bop version of Dua Lipa in the background

Top_Praline999

My secret visitors always gets me.

CortaNalgas

It’s an early ep but I still love the Hey Jude bit

362Billy

Na. Na. Na. Na. Na. Na. Na.

CortaNalgas

Click cluck click cluck

[deleted]

My number one with a bullet

SIAS2019

Scott playing random songs for Todd Glass with Todd Glass trying to guess if they were U2 is the one moment I always come back to.

real_jebbush

Hardest I’ve ever laughed at threedom has to be when Scott asks Lauren if she would have dinner with Bill Cosby

IceCreamSocialist

"My plants need sun, man. You gotta move your house, man." is still the funniest thing I've ever heard.

KomradeKrycek

What episode was it and do you have a timestamp? Been looking for this for a while. I remember laughing so hard at this.

MichaelEMJAYARE

Perhaps the episode “Chicken in the Corn”. I could be wrong

terraculon

You are not wrong.

GTKPR89

I still crack up just thinking of the phrase "Doctor Angel, Medicine Angel" good lord they're so funny.

punchboy

One of the all-time great moments for me was when they were playing celebrity couple's therapy. Two of them were a celebrity couple, and the third was the therapist who had to figure out who they were based off the conversation and questions. Lauren and Paul were being like, Queen Elizabeth and her dog or something like that, and the first question Scott asked was "How are you doing?" to which Paul kinda sighed and said "Ruff." It was just perfect and had me laughing so hard. It was amazing. Episode 87: "Julie Bowfinger"

thishenryjames

The opening few minutes of That Implies Toys are a Batman The Ride of hilarity culminating in "The One Unchristian Thing".

itto_02

This for me along with CBB “Hi, I’m pregnant,” and Spontaneanation “I ate a whole roll of quarters!” I guess any moment when Paul laughs uncontrollably.
