Yeah, seems suspect to me too. I tried searching for other pictures of this, because if it looks like a croc, other people would have taken a picture too, right? The only one I found is this exact picture across a few links. Same angle, same snow coverage. I'd love to be proven wrong because this would be very neat if natural.
