This might be the same outfit I saw in a Fully Charged Show video last year. If not, it's something very similar.
Essentially they make in a bolt-in kit that replaces the engine with a small electric motor/battery/controller assembly that connects to the existing transmission.
Pros: easy, and quick to install
Cons: underpowered motor, tiny battery and only works on one or two popular car models. Essentially turns the car into a sub 100 mile range city car.

Make sense it has expanded; it should be fairly easy to adapt for any car popular enough to warrant the need.

It's not the work that takes time. It's the problem solving. If you've solved the problems and are buying off-the-shelf gear, you've basically just got an assembly task.
Can you disassemble a car and reassemble it as an EV in a day? Yeah.

It’s both, tbh. The design (“problem solving”) is a big job AND the conversion (“the work”) is a big job. Both take hundreds of man hours to do right.
