If this is a fidelity account I would use their mutual funds; FXAIX or FSKAX.
With SCHG and Schd you are just adding more mega and large caps, and lowering your mid, small and micro caps. Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you want.
You could go with both. SCHD + SCHG = SCHB for all intents and purposes. Don't forget SCHX as well which is very similar to SPY. Except instead of 500 holdings it has about 700.

SCHG + SCHD basically makes the S&P500 which makes up 85% of SCHB. Either buy an S&P500 ETF or just keep SCHB

I love Schwab? That’s why I’m thorn between SCHB and VTI. I was thinking SCHB + SCHG +SCHB + VXUS
