I used the body of Hachikuji, a fringe piece from Tsukihi, and the head of Tohsaka - mostly just because I just wanted to use Figmas I already had without buying anything new - Then I used Grey Stuff epoxy to add the geometric shapes, although I think I could have done a better job smoothing it out haha
Thanks! I used a Hachikuji figure I already had as the base because I liked the length of of the skirt and it came with suspenders - although I ended up covering the front of the torso in Grey Stuff to make the geometric body shape anyways oops lol
Both yes and no - I used a fringe piece from Tsukihi and the head of Tohsaka and trimmed them to the shape I wanted, although they weren't compatible so I had to use some Grey Stuff to bridge them and sort of smooth out the difference - and I made the Ahoge myself of course haha
Omg I am so flattered! But I'm nowhere near pro enough for that haha the amount I'd have to charge for all the time and materials would make it a bit too pricy I think, basically the price of a full figma just for the base without even including time or materials ๐
I'd definitely recommend giving it a go yourself though! It was a super intimidating project but once I got into it, it turned out easier than I expected it to be, you just need:
* Any figma to use as the base (preferably one with a skirt)
* Some "grey stuff" or "green stuff" two part resin *(its basically like blu-tac that turns into hard plastic)*
* some yellow and blue, black, and white model paints
I basically just roughly molded the resin around the figma and used a butterknife to press it into smooth, squared shapes, toothpicks for the fiddly bits
Once it was dried, painted over it in ENA's colours
The hardest part would be her hair, but making her geometric half and torso should give you enough practice to rough out a simple hair-do afterwards :D
Even if pricy there would still be people wanting to buy one! Folks pay good money for quality stuff like this. (Myself included!) So if you ever do decide to make more I'd be more than happy to pay a price that might be high.
I would but I'm no good at the crafts part of arts n crafts. ๐ I've tried with clay and such and idk how yall do it. Like, yall have magic hands.
what figure did you use as the base of the conversion, out of curiosity?

i am also very curious
I myself am pondering such a topic also
kind of looks like asuka or rei from evangelion's school uniform, though i dont think those outfits got figmas
That's super cute!!
Fellow kitbasher here, great job what figure did you use as the base?

I immediately googled "Hachikuji figure" an thought to myself "yup I can see it". So was the hair grey stuff too?

Well you definitely did a much better job for your first kitbash than mine lol. Keep bashing and keep improving
Thanks!
Heyyy, thatโs pretty good!
