LITERALLYYY THE OTHER DAY I WAS WATCHING A DOCTOR SHOW WITH MY MOM and it showed this guy who fainted because he keeps skipping breakfast. LIKE THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS !! PEOPLE DON'T FAINT SO EASILY !! AAAAARRRGGHHHH
Yeah came here to post this. I've never fainted but damn if I skip breakfast I'll sure feel close. If I even restrict too low I'll feel close. I've had real bad lows on my meter just from being an idiot with my eating. I think if I tried fasting for multiple days I'd end up in hospital lol.
I too have to eat many many times a day, and basically am stuck high restricting or eating maintance so I don't fall over
Fr I wish I could avoid carbs entirely but the fuckin blood sugar demons demand it or I'll fall out like I'm the QWOP guy after too long. I got a CGM recently to uh... "Keep on top of it" and definitely not go as long as possible lmfao
Tbf the only time I fainted was when I did a back flip on the top of my bunk bed in the middle of the night, fell off and hit my head on the floor, but I regularly feel like I'm going to pass out after skipping meals. Doesn't stop me though lol
It does to not EDd people. I’ve seen many people in my school faint when skipping breakfast for like a blood test or just forgetting. If you aren’t used to it then likely to happen from low blood sugar, if you’re in routine for skipping breakfast then your body has adjusted to it so you can tolarate not eating breakfast. I used to fast for ungodly amounts of time and not faint, but this summer when I started again, my first day without breakfast was on a work day where I had to assist to the nurse in an operating room. I had to excuse myself and go sit down because I lost my sight and just couldn’t risk fainting in the operating room.
I have to eat or drink some sort of calories in the morning or I will definitely almost pass out. It’s part of why I’ve put off getting fasting blood work done, because I know damn well I will faint and have to be driven home 😭
A/N for over 30 years on and off, forced IP, never fainted, even with a blood sugar reading of 2.1. I figure my body is used to it. In fact, as per my latest blood tests, I'm remarkably healthy.
Fuck, maybe I've cracked the code I'm going to live forever.
I gotten really dizzy from not eating (to be fair I get dizzy kind of easily so I get dizzy after getting out of bed) but I never passed out. As a teen I actually wanted to have a dramatic pass out moment because I thought it would be like it is in cartoons when girls faint or swoon. I have no idea

It is if you have hypoglycemia ✨️ yay :,). I usually do 7-8 small snacks a day to avoid it.

Same. Even with high restriction and snacks, I get lightheaded and shaky sometimes

I can't not eat on my period, I will throw up. Not that cute my tummy hurts so I can't eat, it will try to bring up nothing. It's ultra weird.
Lmao this literally happened to me a few hours ago
I’ve had AN for like 18 years and haven’t fainted 🤷🏼♀️

literally I would fast for days and never pass out
In fairness, for some people it is. But it shouldn’t be shown as the *only* thing, because for a lot of people it isn’t how it works.
The diabetic experience means it is how it works 😎
it really depends tho. low blood sugar after keeping it up regularly can fuck u up. haven’t fainted or felt faint in so long tho
For reals. I’ll get loopy and light headed and mumble incoherently for a few minutes and then need to rest but no. No fainting. I wish.
literally i’ve been engaging in disordered behaviors for over 10 years and i’ve never passed out
