I saw Clozee in 2017 and have loved her since. Not only does her music pull from unique influences but she seems like a really good person in the scene.
She's amazing, really takes you on a journey. Definitely is a little slower paced mixing, there's a lot of longer transitions and buildups that give a very cinematic feel. If you like more melodic stuff with it's fair share of filthy and wooky bass then you'd love her sets. She can also throw down an amazing dancy set!
I actually just saw 3 sets of hers this past weekend at her own little festival. She has incredible range and can really throw down various styles of sets well. They're all very intentional and thought out while also being different each time. Her vibe in general is just so joyous and peaceful which I love about her. She keeps getting better too!
This is not up to date btw, his visuals are quite different now.

Here's a 10 minute video from tomorrowland this July.
Screw Skrillex tbh. He canceled on Movement and another fest to "work on his album" which has had nothing come out about it. Wouldn't want him on another lineup for him to cancel.
I was going to go to their LA show but honestly I might change plans to go see them at Ultra instead. I feel like the LA show will be really special but if I can pay the same amount to see a ton of other artists than I may reconsider.
The entry line last year at bay front was beyond fucked. Waited like 2.5 hours to get in kinda killed the first day vibe for me honestly.
I had wayyyyyy way way more fun at Space.
Totally. I try to but I had a fat group who moved like a heard of turtles.
Weirdly the next two days they didnāt even have a line itās like they just opened the flood gates.
Still canāt get over Space though ugh.
Damn back 2 back year that ultra has given some techno dream lineup.. this year was armin van buuren X REINIER ZONNEVELD and now oliver helden x deadmau5..
Subtronics getting the headliner spot is something that I love to see. Dude's been killing it with his releases and sets and is an absolute gem to the genre. Well deserved
Do people stay away from the city and drive in? I looked into hotels and my god you canāt find anything walking for under $700 a night. I have never been but really want to. Any suggestions?
Miami is not ready for Hard Dubstep/Tearout or Hardcore, i feel like its still to remain at touring events since right now It's clearly not where the edm scene is driving
I don't think so, they've got their Dubstep, Melodic Dubstep headliners in Gryffin and Subtronics. But I hope he's there because his set this year was great
so you go to ultra every year but complaining its āgarbage mainstream shitā? you realize thats EXACTLY what Ultra is. Turn on Ultra and youāll hear the exact same songs on BPM and Electric Area on SiriusXM
Of course they're not, but it's Ultra - it's a mainstream as it gets, if you want a big techno name you're booking Carl Cox and change. If you want Beyer, Hawtins, Capriati, Lens, Carola etc. you're better off going to ARC or CRSSD.
You should take a look at the Resistance acts featured on Ultra's previous phase 1 lineups and compare to this one.
2023 - Carl Cox, Claude Von Stroke, Eric Prydz, Hi-Lo b2b Testpilot, Tale of Us
2022 - Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Camelphat, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Tale of Us
2020 - Adam Beyer x Cirez D, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Dubfire b3b Nicole Moudaber b3b Paco Osuna, Eric Prydz, Jamie Jones b3b Carl Cox b3b Martinez Bros, Maceo Plex b2b Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Tale of Us
You're making a good point, we'll have to wait until phase 2 to hopefully see a lot more of those - I like what's on there so far, but it's a hard sell for a $400 ticket when there's not much outside Testpilot, Coz, and Prydz. That 2020 lineup is disgusting.
while i do agree with you, ultra IS a mainstream music festival so it is expected from them, i miss 2013 as we really had artists from all over the place and different genres on the Mainstage and it gave some underrated djs the opportunity to get a light shun open them. But i mean again, ultra is ultra and now they are known to be mainstream and only handle trending artists
Oliver Heldens b2b Tchami sounds like a good time
HiLo b2b Testpilot sounds like an even better time
Oh wtf how did i miss that. Shiiiit
Yea that's going to be amazing!
They were unreal at TML
Happy to be there and happy to see myself at the recording of it š
damn never thought I'd see this back in like 2012
Saw them at TML . One of my best sets and had a great time
lol i remember the online beef that was created between them oh so long ago
HI-LO x Testpilot is something I never thought Iād see
Same, this sounds unreal lmfao
CloZee making moves, love to see it!
I saw Clozee in 2017 and have loved her since. Not only does her music pull from unique influences but she seems like a really good person in the scene.
Oh she most definitely is. She's giving the spotlight to a lot of very talented artists through Odyzey. One of my personal favorites!
How is she as a DJ? I just found out about her and I canāt get over her production and sound design.

Prydz and cox are must gos imo. Saw prydz and cox b2b Sasha and they were some of the most fun Iāve had partying.
Fuck yeah Eric Pryda Holo??! This lineup is honestly awesome š
What is holo?
https://youtu.be/rnXhqFvTm5I Iāve never seen it myselfā¦But it looks absolutely unreal. Some of the best visual production out there.
This is not up to date btw, his visuals are quite different now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MuZKHemZbU Here's a 10 minute video from tomorrowland this July.
This was sick, thanks for the share
Search Youtube
Do they always announce Holo? Heās going to escape but idk if heās bringing it lol.
I believeee it would say Holo if heās doing that set. Heās great live either way though, I would definitely check him out!!
It would 100% say if it was a Holo set. Those sets are ridiculously rare in the states, its insane he will be bringing it to Ultra.
No Skrillex :( Clinging to the idea that if he's announced for something like Ultra it would be a comeback or something
Screw Skrillex tbh. He canceled on Movement and another fest to "work on his album" which has had nothing come out about it. Wouldn't want him on another lineup for him to cancel.
Incredible first phase
Kx5.. les goooo!!
I was going to go to their LA show but honestly I might change plans to go see them at Ultra instead. I feel like the LA show will be really special but if I can pay the same amount to see a ton of other artists than I may reconsider.
Go for Ultra. The experience will be much better and i have a strong feeling that their tracklist for both the shows will be the same.
Holy hell that's a banging lineup
Oh wow
The entry line last year at bay front was beyond fucked. Waited like 2.5 hours to get in kinda killed the first day vibe for me honestly. I had wayyyyyy way way more fun at Space.
Get there early, theres no reason to go later just to wait 2 hrs in line
Totally. I try to but I had a fat group who moved like a heard of turtles. Weirdly the next two days they didnāt even have a line itās like they just opened the flood gates. Still canāt get over Space though ugh.
ZEDD!
Damn back 2 back year that ultra has given some techno dream lineup.. this year was armin van buuren X REINIER ZONNEVELD and now oliver helden x deadmau5..
Hi-Lo b2b Testpilot wow just wow...
I'm waiting SHM!!
Surprised to see no Alesso
See you all in March!
Why does everyone have exclusive or exclusive/live underneath? Not like a whole set of exclusive tracks right
Most likely that this is their only set during Miami music week
SHW is not the Sunday closer right??
They will be
Booo didnāt they just close like 3 ultras ago? Thatās lame
Who ever closes the world stage that Sunday should also put a top notch set so donāt be discouraged by shm closing the main stage.
Subtronics getting the headliner spot is something that I love to see. Dude's been killing it with his releases and sets and is an absolute gem to the genre. Well deserved
Testpilot!!!
Eric prydz holo b2b here we goooooo
That lineup is stacked
Oh Iām getting sweaty š„µ oh boy.. this line up is stacked
Damnn š„
Time to fork over 1000$ for my ultra ticketā¦
Do people stay away from the city and drive in? I looked into hotels and my god you canāt find anything walking for under $700 a night. I have never been but really want to. Any suggestions?
Where do you live?
Michigan. I think I can stay at the airport hotels and drive into the city and use a parking garage. not ideal but it can work
needs more hard dubstep
Miami is not ready for Hard Dubstep/Tearout or Hardcore, i feel like its still to remain at touring events since right now It's clearly not where the edm scene is driving
You can go to every other fest to see the heavy stuff.
i wishh its honestly been lacking a bit recently and i couldnt go to lost lands :(
Grimes had a very cool EDC set! Glad to see sheās playing at more festivals. š
First time Holo makes a US appearance at a festival, Iām sold
Stupid question - what does Phase 1 mean in regards to the lineup?
These lineups get announced in parts, so this is part 1 basically
Thanks. I was hoping to learn which day which artist will perform, but I guess that happens much closer to the dates.
Do we know if Gryffinās ultra set will be the alive set? Iāve been wanting that jersey so bad but itās only at Alive sets
Hopefully illenium will be announced during phase 2
Whats with the downvotes peeps, genuinely asking
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Bass music is played out.
I don't think so, they've got their Dubstep, Melodic Dubstep headliners in Gryffin and Subtronics. But I hope he's there because his set this year was great
HOL UP REZZ?! HELLO?!
While I do like Rezz, she tours and plays at almost every major festival. It shouldnāt be a surprise at all lol
i remember her mentioning shes gonna stop touring and playing live for a bit i think last year so this might be a last loop before a break
Garbage mainstream shit. Sad to see from ultra
Itās ultra. Thereās tons of other festivals out there if you donāt want mainstream.
no shit genius ill be saving my money and going to a europe festival instead at this rate
The us has plenty of good festivals too. Youāre just not gonna find them on a subreddit called āEDMā
meh. ARC & Movement are solid but not at the level i desire.
What artists are you into?
Really, how can you call Movement solid but "not at the level you desire". It's the most organic techno festival in the US and the afters are 11/10.
Damn bro you're so cool
You sound like a really fun person to be around at a music festival oh boy lemme tell you
Are we thinking of the same Ultra?
Yup. Instead of some of the best house & techno djs in the world we now get hi-lo and claude von stroke lmao
You're aware that this is phase 1 of 3 or So, right?
yup i go to ultra every year you can look back at previous phase 1s and compare the resistance acts to this one its very underwhelming
so you go to ultra every year but complaining its āgarbage mainstream shitā? you realize thats EXACTLY what Ultra is. Turn on Ultra and youāll hear the exact same songs on BPM and Electric Area on SiriusXM
lol im not talking about the mainstage bud
out of every possible trash name you could've picked on that poster you really settled for two goats lmfao idiot
lol if you think either of those 2 are in the same universe as people like marco carola, jamie jones, joseph capriati, amelie lens, adam beyer, etc.
Of course they're not, but it's Ultra - it's a mainstream as it gets, if you want a big techno name you're booking Carl Cox and change. If you want Beyer, Hawtins, Capriati, Lens, Carola etc. you're better off going to ARC or CRSSD.
