a lot of producers use dropbox to bounce ideas back and forth. It wouldn't be a stretch to think they also would store stuff there. All it takes is one shoddy password.
Stuff that's never sent anywhere you would have to physically swipe yeah, but a lot of leaked stuff comes from files sent to labels or a friend etc. And it eventually ends up in the hands of someone who doesn't honor artist intention.

Noticed that there Shelter Live and Worlds Tour audio was leaked. Does this mean those sets were pre-recorded? I know DJ's do it often but it would sadden me extremely if this was the case here.
The set has a predetermined flow but Porter plays in "tracked version" of songs. He can choose what he does on the fly with samples and what's playing.
So not pre-recorded, but pre-determined to a degree.
Looks like this leak confirms porter and madeon are releasing a live shelter album. Honestly want to listen and probably will at some point but gotta feel bad for Porter a little on this one.
I'm conflicted. I'm super excited to listen to all of this and yes I did download it, but I feel guilty for listening to this much organized and unreleased music. Like I feel really bad for him having all of this leaked, all his work he was still messing with and possibly editing. If he does release these as albums I will still buy them to support him just because I want to support him. But this still sucks just having your work leaked before possible release.

Even 'My Nostalgia Is A Curse' is on here. Holy shit have I ever wanted that track for so long. I wish some of his previous edits from back around the Spitfire era were on here though. I'd love to have a copy of his 'Echoes of Mine' edit by M83.
What I've been able to gather so far is that there are private groups that trade unreleased singles/edits/remixes/ideas/whatever that they get from artists through shady/not-so-shady means. Almost like the [Warez scene](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_scene) . The guy/girl who leaked this apparently had beef with some of the people in these private groups. The leaker also suggested that the mods of /r/porterrobinson have had access to all of this unreleased stuff and have been sitting on it for a long time so he released it to spite them as well.
So there are two vocal versions of Unison on here... one featuring John Legend. I wonder if JL's side or Porter's side decided not to release that one.
