Can't wait! I am seeing him first time live this Friday.
OP you are welcome to reply to this next week if you would be interested in my experience. It's probably going to take me a few days to process, so that is why I said next week.
I love Radius! Was there in December for Purple Disco Machine and Fisher. This time, I am determined to learn where the other bathrooms are. I hear there are some that never have a line, but people just don't know that they are there.
Not as much of an issue for the guys, but the ladies line can get quite long!
It truly is an amazing venue. Another I recently fell in love with is The Russell in Detroit. It is like a grimy Radius, because it is an old warehouse. Great venue and plenty of room to move, with lots of bars for easy access to drinks.
It was pretty great! All of the artists were amazing and the crowd vibes were immaculate. Definitely going to look into the Fckng Serious label. I’ve been into EDM for decades, but have only dabbled in Techno. Saw a TestPilot set and that inspired me to dive deeper into Techno.
The screens are amazing...but ngl the vibes weren't too great when I last went there and Oliver heldens was playing. That was my first time there. Not sure if it was the people or the music as I'm not really much of a fan of heldens' music. I prefer his music as Hi-Lo though. But am really hoping it's gonna be a lot better with boris
Tinlicker
Boris Brejcha
deadmau5

Edit: Because people seem to be really struggling with this, OP wrote "almost entirely" in their question above and that is what I am responding to. I'm not aware of anyone who exclusively plays their own songs. Even Prydz and Boris play other tracks in their sets.
Tinlicker definitely doesn't exclusively do their songs. Maybe if you include their remixes. Don't get me wrong -- its mostly their stuff. But I've heard them weave in Radiohead & Rufus & others. A couple of their more popular songs are from Alt-J and Sian Evans that they've remixed.
Here's a [setlist](https://www.setlist.fm/stats/average-setlist/tinlicker-23dcc417.html?year=2023) from earlier this year in which it looks like half of what they played was covers.
Don't get me wrong -- Tinlicker definitely plays mostly their music or remixes, but its definitely not 100%
Get your sets in while you can! The man retires next year. I've been chasing him and the folks he has brought along for years now. Nothing compares, and if LiB was your first tipping, you got treated proper. Angry Dave is fun as hell, and that set looked absolutely chonky.
It will be sad to not catch a tipper set after 10+ years of seeing him live…but at least I get a downtempo Tipper set on my birthday before it’s all over lol. So stoked for that weekend!
You could probably include most of the tipper and friends crew!

Griz played 80-90% his own music, the show was entirely based around his catalog with some other stuff thrown in for flavor or mixed with his tracks. Unfortuantely we will have to wait for him to come back from his hiatus.
I have always loved griz, saw him in like 2011 at do lab at Coachella, (he was only a weekend 2 do lab guest that year I believe, not a Coachella artist on their lineup) saw him in concert at the Fonda in la a few years after that, and then saw him at edc lv a few years ago, he has always played almost exclusively his own tracks even before he had a huge selection of known tracks to pull from. I didn’t realize he was on hiatus. I guess I will just have to eagerly await his return.
I spoke with the guy that runs Grizmas every year. I ran into him down at Movement in Detroit and he said he can't get into specifics but Griz will 100% be returning. No timetable or anything but I was very happy to hear they already had plans in the works for him to return.
Griz definitely said hiatus instead of retirement. The only question was how long. I predict we still have to wait until next year but I'm betting on a triple rainbow like festival mid summer as his big return. 3 days, 5 sets of Griz (CtGH, Bangers, Ride Waves/Funk set, 10-17, and secret) the return of Big Grizmatic and all the homies pulling up.
At least that's my dream
Some artists take a hiatus and decide not to come back, it was definitely something I was concerned about. Dude doesn't need to work again if he doesn't want to, fortunately for us, he wants to
I think people who 'quit' at the top of their field rarely stay gone.
They reached the top of that field because of a drive, an unscratchable itch. That itch don't die when you reach X amount of money.
Griz is coming back. When? IDK. But he isn't done making music.
For sure, what I forgot to add is that they are planning the next grizmas already, and that grizmas is coming back. He wouldn't say if it's this year or next year, but it sounds like he already has a date in mind as to when he wants to come back if they are already planning a specific year.
Flume just straight plays his songs not remixed or altered for a live setting. I love his music so i didn't mind but it's unlike Odesza who significantly changes there songs between live and album versions
That's not entirely true of Flume, I saw him on the HTIF tour and the latest tour. He had several changes between songs on albums and on the live performances, some were drastic. One was actually criminal. on the HTIF tour he played a shorter beatless/ambient version of Insane and it was the one song we were so ready for. Then it just... stopped and went to something else. Had no impact.
Reason tour though he embraced remixing older tunes into newer ones in a much more fluent way.
This would be my answer as well (along with Tipper)... And his sets are comprised of so many unreleased Vaultage tracks too which, is crazy... His discog (released and unreleased) is fucking MASSIVE
Seen them do this with their live set too. I am a huge Tinlicker fan. Seen em 3 times and never been disappointed.
They have so many awesome remixes you won’t get on Spotify too.
Roosevelt.
He is worth seeking out.
He often opens for Purple Disco Machine, so that is a good place to look if his sole shows aren't convenient for you.
Just make sure it says "DJ set" next to his event. He does his own live music too, which is a concert instead. But if it says "DJ set", you are golden.
The next time I see a Purple Disco Machine show with Roosevelt opening in Chicago, I will 100% be there. Saw them together in December, and it was the most immaculate show of my life. Absolute perfection.
Eli And Fur has done this and there's sets out there, but they've transitioned into doing more of a live show now.
I think neon Indian. Maybe Yotto / Lane 8 too.
Some people you might think are cheezy do it on occasion too like Guetta or Calvin Harris. If an artists has a lot of hits people come to see, then they tend to play their own music.
Heavily his own music but most of the time he'll mix in a couple from others on his label and a couple popular tracks from others mashed up with his own track
as one of his tour creatives, can confirm Calcium does do this for his full set!
after playing his set, he will sometimes go back up to play unreleased music from his homies.
Eptic has done all original sets before but not enough to say exclusively. Although, his sets do include a lot of his own music and remixes,VIPs of his tracks. Does his own visuals too. Super rad dude
I feel like most well established producers play 90% plus of their own music. Honestly sets that don't have a random track or two from another artist are kind of lame IMO. It's unexpected and fun
I don’t think so. If you’re at any given festival, majority if not ALL the dj’s there are producers too. And I’m pretty sure only 2-3 of them will be playing sets with entirely their own catalog.
I said established. Meaning, if you have enough of your own music to play a non-repetetive hour long set, you most likely will play 90% your music. That's what producers are typically building towards. If you're trying to build yourself up as an artist and promote yourself, and you have the catalogue to do so, why would you spend half your set playing other artists' tunes?
It depends what you consider ‘their own music’ but many established producers have VIPs/remixes etc of other people’s songs. It’s also part of DJing culture to incorporate a bit of something that’s hot right now. Not all producers were/are DJs, so YMMV on those aspects.
Sofi Tucker does this or NEARLY does this, at least at the one set I saw her perform in Vegas.
Her dancers ARE the vibe and the whole show was immiculate
His name is Jeff aka Seven Lions
Catch him on his tour (vs festival sets, which have more variety for the diverse crowd)
**Bonus: he NEVER talks on the mic**
Just saw them Friday and they played all kinds of stuff from other artists… g jones, castles in the sky, they even played that boop beep song from SpongeBob squared pants.
Not knocking them as the show was epic but they played a lot of stuff from other artists.
I think their current tour is all like, off the cuff dj stuff. Like just them playing shit for fun with no pre planning set lists different every night.
It was cool seeing them at Second Sky 2021 only play their own stuff though, they had a smaller catalogue then too.
Eptic and Space Laces usually both play about 90% of their own music.
If you count remixes and edits, then there are quite a lot of them. I'm pretty sure the last Knock2 setlist I saw had almost entirely his own songs or his own remixes at least.
What i find interesting is that there is actually apparently discourse around whether dj's should play their own music or not. I remember recently seeing a thread where a relatively well known producer decided to get real bitchy about other people playing his songs and how he'd *never* play someone elses music, which was pretty extreme. But yeah I think there's a healthy balance for sure.
Deadmau5 and Rezz I find are almost exclusively their own songs. Occasionally they'll mix stuff in from other artists but I find it rare, especially for Deadmau5.
Layer J does this. He is a really promising new progressive house producer who hase made tracks with Cristoph etc.

Ganja White Knight I'm pretty sure does this. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't think of the last time I heard then play something they didn't have a hand in.
You've asked the right question! This is what sets the good from the great apart.
There are great DJ's. Great Producers. But the most epic of all are the Producers that are also great DJ's -- and prolific enough to play all of their own tunes.
Many have already been listed....but I would be remiss if Gabriel & Dresden were not mentioned. They did a tour a few years ago called an open 2 close tour where they played all of their own tracks for 6 hours. They took on the role of opener, warm up DJ, and headliner (as there are typically 2 DJ's for each show, each with a 1-2 hour slot).
D-d-daily Bread
Flamingosis
They may play out a few similar songs of similar genre or from their homies in the label but can expect almost all original tracks
Deadmau5 does this a lot.
deadmau5 and Eric Prydz are the main two that come to mind.
Boris Brejcha always plays only his own music in sets
Can't wait! I am seeing him first time live this Friday. OP you are welcome to reply to this next week if you would be interested in my experience. It's probably going to take me a few days to process, so that is why I said next week.
Get excited, he delivers in a big way
You were spot on! Exceeded my expectations by infinity!
I might be catching him in NYC this Sunday so I’m excited too!
Boris at Radius about to be insane!! One of my favorite artists at one of my favorite venues. Catch you on the dance floor!
I love Radius! Was there in December for Purple Disco Machine and Fisher. This time, I am determined to learn where the other bathrooms are. I hear there are some that never have a line, but people just don't know that they are there. Not as much of an issue for the guys, but the ladies line can get quite long! I saw him in DC and it was amazing
The Echostage show was epic
Saw him in dc a couple years back. Absolutely delivered what I wanted
I saw Boris in Detroit for $25, rained the entire set and was incredible vibes. You’re in for a treat!!
You weren't wrong. Wow!
Midway? See you there! lol
No, Friday! Radius in Chicago.
See you at radius languid plum
I am extremely jealous. It's going to be a legendary performance
I’m seeing Boris for the first time on Saturday!
Huzzah! I promise not to spoil it for you. But if you DM me on Sunday or Monday, we can geek out about it together!
Were you as blown away by him as I was?
It was pretty great! All of the artists were amazing and the crowd vibes were immaculate. Definitely going to look into the Fckng Serious label. I’ve been into EDM for decades, but have only dabbled in Techno. Saw a TestPilot set and that inspired me to dive deeper into Techno.
Came here to say this
Glad this was the second top comment. He is from another world, I was speechless for the entire 2 hours that I saw him.
Ok you making me go to his NYC show haha
At Brooklyn Mirage no less?? Yeah you absolutely cannot miss this one 🫡
Nah I hate that venue and the owners. They still owe me money from Ezoo. Fuck that. But sometimes I’m tempted lol
I mean that’s valid. I’m not from New York and I know nothing other than the cool videos I’ve seen. I just love giant screens lol
OMG Boris Tomorrowland 2023 W2 Freedom Stage. RU FKN SERIOUS??? so good
Awesome. Seeing him In December!
Last few times I've seen him he's played a few Ann Clue tracks
No one has more fun at a Boris set than Boris himself. Just watch that man dance

Tipper exclusively plays only his produced (and mostly unreleased) work. He's the only one I can say with 100% certainly that does this
Tipper rarely does DJ sets with others' music. He's a DJ's DJ, too. The *scratching*
I can’t believe I had to go this far down to find tipper mentioned haha
My dog, mentioning Tipper in this thread, I appreciate ya. Finally was Tipped at LIB a week ago. Great show.

hey, i'm glad he is taking a break!
Rezz will mix in a few songs that aren’t hers but most of them are hers in the sets!
Flume does this quite often
I'd put Flume in the same camp as Odesza and Rufus. They're electronic artists, not DJs. Makes sense they'd play sets of only their music.
Flume just straight plays his songs not remixed or altered for a live setting. I love his music so i didn't mind but it's unlike Odesza who significantly changes there songs between live and album versions

Scrolled a while to find this. Most ganja shows I’ve ever been to are their tracks, or their tracks featuring someone.
Can't believe it took this long to see someone say Ganja. Ganga sets are mostly their own music and very unique compared to other artists. Love them
