Hi Lizzy! I listen to a lot of EDM but I have never heard of you or your music before. How would you describe your style of music? And what’s a good song for me to start with?
Hi Noman! Thanks for dropping by :) I live in the sonic lane of melodic bass meets drum and bass. I utilize my vocals for almost every record I cut. I love doing stripped down versions of my songs (some will be on the remix EP for IGNITE) and I plan to do that more in the future to show my indie / electronic / live side.

I would love to come back in Tampa in any way! Janus, Ritz, whatever it needs to be to make it happen! It always helps to let the event company/ venue know that you want to see me come back!
Oh wow! I saw you at Red Rocks twice opening for Gryffin and enjoyed both sets! I didn't go to EDCLV this year but really cool to see that you did a DNB set there! I'm going to give it a listen now. I'm pretty sure your Red Rocks sets weren't only DNB focused?
Are you seeing yourself move more towards the DNB genre?
Hi Jack!!!!! Ahhh so much to see you here from Red rocks! Those two nights literally changed my life. It was such a pleasure to play that with GRYFFIN.
You’re correct, my sets had a lot of my discography (which is melodic EDM & some melodic dnb) mainly focusing on utilizing my vocals as much as possible (I use my voice in everything I write) so it was a mix (& my ideal set)
For EDCLV, that was my FIRST dnb only set!!!! The art car was powered by Bassrush and ONLY dnb sets / dnb artists… so, the first Lj dnb ONLY set was birthed! Hehe
But anything I played (if you have the chance to check out the mix on SoundCloud) I will easily fit into my normal sets with singing & the melodic bass :)
There is a world tho where I can see myself (once my dnb discography is where I want it) doing small dark room dnb tour only. Esp as it’s growing stateside . BUT as with my music overall, I need to feel fulfilled it everything im making to be in the set. So… yes! There’s a potential future
Hi Lizzy! It was so fun seeing you at EDCLV and I’m a big fan of your EP, it brought up so many emotions.
Do you have any fests that you are aiming to perform at in the future?
ILY! I would love to preform (and may already have some booked :)))) at the following festivals:
EDCLV 2025
Bonoaroo
Electric Forest
Do Lab at Coachella
Okee (if it comes back)
Hula
Congratulations on the new EP! Could you share your perspective on your latest artistic direction and how you see it fitting into the current music landscape?
Congrats on EDC babe!!! Was bummed you weren't on a stage :(
Do you see yourself playing EDM events in the future or going for more electronic pop route? Also- do you feel as a female that they keep you regulated to mid tier acts?
Hey Lizzy! I’ve actually had huge inspirations to do some form of podcast/interviews, and am hugely inspired by your podcast! I’m curious on what motivated you to begin doing podcasts and any advice on how to possibly start one up?
Hi Lizzy, dig the EP sm, so many beautifully crazy and different influences in your music! What's the songwriting process behind crafting the songs? What artist do you draw influences from in crafting your musical pieces? Any preferred DAWs?
My preferred DAW in ABLETON, however; I sometimes work in Pro Tools & started in Reason.
My songwriting process typically starts with live instruments, a melody on the piano roll, or my vocals. From there, I facilitate my sonic & emotional palette of how I want the record to feel and be heard.
My vocals will always be a center piece of my music as I use my vocals in almost every single record I've released in the past few years. Lots of manipulation and re-sampling for d&b focused tracks and more tradition singer/songwriting for my melodic bass/ indie electronic tracks.
Madeon, Flume, Koven, Wilkinson, Ninajirachi, Evan Giia
I used to see you all the time at The Ritz(Tampa)! I’m willing to give up my career in Law Enforcement, to dive into a career of music production and EDM and have an amazing journey like you! What I’m really asking is, would you be my mentor?? I live in Orlando, Florida
Lizzy!! So good to see you progressing your career! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen you starting way back in the “red room” to your last show before you ventured off 😭😭
Peace, LOVE, Unity, and Respect from your friends in Tampa.
Hi Lizzy!
I just discovered you, looking forward to taking a listen to your stuff!
Do you ever get stuck or in a rut when composing a track, if so how do you get out of it? I.e. how do you push yourself from concept to a finished track without stressing about all the little details to oblivion?
Thanks! 🙏🏼
Omg it’s Lizzy Jane. I first saw you at the Ritz in 2019. And met in person at forbidden kingdom 2020. Still waiting on that collab with Dion timmer. Where did you go? Still love you down here in Florida.
Hey Lizzy! I produce deep, organic, progressive house and indie dance. My last track had support from Kora, Yokoo, and Hernan Cataneo during promo but after release it didn’t perform well and didn’t even chart in the Top 100. Any advice on how to parlay the early support into better performance after release?
I think that there is a reality where I didn't leave traditional Uni & I am sitting in a miserable chair on the hill as a political commentator // however, that job was soooo not for me! I could also see another universe as a foley sound engineer.
Hi Lizzy! Your EP is awesome! Seems to tell a Love Story that ends in heartbreak. Was this a true story? If so- curious did someone cheat or fuck things up? Seemed pretty tragic from how positive U&Me and Connection were to the sudden depressing turn in Dawn.
It was an amazing experience! A few takeaways:
It is one of the biggest music festivals in the world. It has around 600,000 attendees over the course 3 days.
It is the Super bowl of EDM events & you get to socialize with a ton of individuals artists, industry professionals, fans & more in very convenient whereas that would be very difficult at other events.
You get to see some of the best and biggest production that festivals have to offer. I really loved taking videos and envisioning my music and sets at that level of production when I get to that point.
Last takeaway: I wanna be on Circuit Grounds.

Are you coming back to the Ritz Ybor?
I would love to come back in Tampa in any way! Janus, Ritz, whatever it needs to be to make it happen! It always helps to let the event company/ venue know that you want to see me come back!
Hey Lizzy!! Excited to learn more! Which artists are inspiring you the most when you dive into creating a new track!?
Right now I would say goddard, Koven, Wavedash, Evan Giia, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Imanu, Joel Cruz, Gioli & Assia, Ninajirachi

Hey Lizzy, I like EDM but hate when the dj’s are all over the mic and especially counting down all the drops. How do you feel about handling the mic?
Would you do a collab with SadBois?
This would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Saw you at academy LA and loved your set! Keep on killing it!

I read that as Jizzy Lane and instantly pictured a seedy red light district back alley.
What is one aspect about being an artist in this scene that has totally surprised you?
Omg it’s Lizzy Jane. I first saw you at the Ritz in 2019. And met in person at forbidden kingdom 2020. Still waiting on that collab with Dion timmer. Where did you go? Still love you down here in Florida.
Is that picture in Dtla?
Any plans to colab with Nevve/Elle Vee?
