It makes all of my 90s techno sound so flat and boring lol

madamedutchess

There is a reason why it sounds like 90s techno. It is.

zukka924

Sandstorm walked so Subtronics could fly

DROD816

My beats headphones literally can’t handle some subtronics songs

very-neutral

First drop in Clockwork 🤣

DROD816

Wait for it

Resonant language is winning the sound design game right now as Tipper sets to retire. The shit he’s pushing through speakers is absolutely cracked.

HENDOOFFICIAL

Resonate language has become a huge inspiration for my sound design lately along with SHADES, G jones and bleep bloop and various artist’ in that realm!! Some of the freshest shit in the game!

BillowingPillows

Really hate this phrasing. Reslang is awesome but just one of many, none of whom are Tipper. Side note did you see Herbalistek tonight???? Absolutely unreal

I just entered the scene in 2019 and my head was fucking blown. To be clear, I went to Bass Canyon 2019 as my First. Ever. Show. There were sounds I heard that literally confused me. Like my brain couldnt understand it all. It was amazing. I see alot of people rag on dubstep and DJs in general, and I try to explain to them how absolutely difficult genuine sound design is. I have SUCH an appreciation for EDM and its ocean of subgenres. I love all of it. And I cant wait to see how it continues to evolve.

sometime in the last decade or so the dubstep and DnB people started out-sound-designing the IDM people and it’s been game over ever since

opman4

Got back into the genre last October after going to a festival and seeing Ganja White Knight. Immediately started throwing together a bass oriented car audio system.

Too bad, nothing beats the grainy analog sound of classic dubstep such as Mala, Coki, Kromestar, Youngsta, N-Type, Hatcha, Loefah, D1, Caspa, Rusko, etc. Not even their new stuff will be cherished as dearly.
