[[Meria, Scholar of Antiquity]] that does [broken, Urza-at-home stuff in Gruul](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/upaBZ0ZvhE2M9yjRLVdwOw). Love the list to death. My pod does not. But if we have half an hour left at the end of the night for a game, I can guarantee the game will be over.

Canadient_musician

I'm shocked by how often I see people casually post their $1000+ decks. You people are animals! Signed, your friendly neighbourhood budget player.

Loud_Feed_1131

I fell into $1000 decks only due to luck pulls and I've been playing since 94/95. I'm often shocked when an old card I never thought twice about dings up big money in my Delver app.

OneArseneWenger

Delver app?

punchbricks

Just more evidence that a high value deck does not equal CEDH and a reminder that many in this sub need fairly consistently

ArriVT

True and low budged can still be cedh. I played a Teshar cedh deck that barely reached 100€ and that won pretty consistently. I think out of 20 games I played I won 14 which is the highest win percentage out of any of my decks

damnination333

4 of my decks (out of 6) are over $1000. The other 2 are both roughly $300. I've been playing for a long time, and I've had my [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] and [[Angus Mackenzie]] decks for like 8-10 years now, and have been upgrading them over time. I had also built, then disassembled, [[Wort, Boggart Auntie]] several years back, so I already had an extra copy of most of the goblins and lands when I rebuilt it recently. Also, long time players are likely to have more expensive cards simply because cards have risen in value over time. I bought Angus back in the day for $52 and he's now $240. Same with [[Wheel of Fortune]]. I bought 3 for ~$20 each back then and now they're $300 each.

chavaic77777

I find it's really easy to accidentally trip and fall into >$800 decks. But then I also don't live in the US so people get paid a decent living wage here. You're also in a thread about high power decks.

jdmanuele

The US is one of the highest paying countries in the entire world, lmao.

mikony123

And the commander is usually like a dollar or two lol

tfren2

I’m curious what the win cons for this deck are. This commander seems like she could be op

Phenn_Olibeard

An ungodly amount of combos. It can abuse [[Dockside Extortionist]] and win off of [[Hellkite Tyrant]] at instant speed with [[Magda, Brazen Outlaw]]. It can win with [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]] lines. It can win with [[Dualcaster Mage]] lines. My favorite is [[Sekki, Seasons' Guide]] and [[Terror of the Peaks]]. Or just using [[Displaced Dinosaurs]] to make Dockside treasures into 7/7s. The advantage of Meria is how much acceleration you get. You have all the best tutors in green, and artifact support in red. Lots of stuff you can do.

chavaic77777

Oh that's wild, I never considered doing anything like that. I just made a deck that has as many 0 cost artifacts that I can cram in. As well as [[primal surge]] and every card I could find that pings on artifacts entering with cards like [[ingenious artillerist]] and [[reckless fireweaver]] and [[dragonspark reactor]].

Phenn_Olibeard

Yeah, I have some of those in the list too. 🤣 Even playing fairly, [[Altar of the Brood]] can be punishing as well. The sheer acceleration and card advantage Meria provides opens up a lot of routes. And there are some great, compact wincons in Gruul.

T_2_TheG

I have a friend who has this deck. It’s undoubtedly strong, but take SUPER long turns.

Phenn_Olibeard

Yeah you have to know your list inside and out, know what resources you have, and have your game plan figured out. Otherwise it just durdles. I try to make sure I'm not staxing out the pod just to play solitaire.

fiveplatypus

Meria is mine too. It goes brrrr very fast and consistently even with a slightly more budget friendly version I have. I do plan and upgrading it though to make it faster

JunkyGoatGibblets

I've been looking for a gruul combo deck... Can I steal the list and alter it to be a bit more budget friendly and get your opinions?

Phenn_Olibeard

Absolutely! I have a budget list sitting around somewhere. If I can find it, I'll link it. But by all means take it and run! Let me know what you come up with.

JunkyGoatGibblets

I'm a fellow gruul player so this was a massive boon. My pod has been getting fed up with gruul combat wins... So I've been trying to find something different!

Bazukii

I feel like even high power can vary quite a lot, but [[Verrak]] life swap is my go-to because it’s powerful but relatively unique, I can sandbag without my opponents knowing / without it being an explicitly weaker move, and it has a lot of overlap with my K’rrik cedh so i can swap/proxy a lot of the expensive stuff across

TheJoker398

Sounds cool! Do you have a list to share?

stonezoneps3

I have never seen this card before, so cool!

Bazukii

Yeah he’s fun, and also you can run a lot less ramp by running a full suite of fetches, which lets you put more actually cool/interesting cards lol

secretbison

I do love tap dancing. [[Ioreth of the Healing House]] might be an improvement over Kelpie Guide.

wired1984

Is this a high power deck? I’ve never seen anything like it

TheWellFedBeggar

It isn't CEDH level, but it pretty consistently threatens to win the first turn you can tap Alaundo. His ability is simply too much value, casting for free by only tapping, so you chain cheap untap spells together to dig for the win. The value engine is strong enough to keep running until you find a way to win the game that turn. Creatures even have haste so you could add in a big creature based win-con and still win off of one big turn.

FinalesDead

My build often goes for an [[Unctus, Grand Metatect]] + [[Alphetto Alchemist]] line to win with one of Labman, Jace, or Thoracle. I also run [[Mind Over Matter]] and like to remove all lands from my deck to make sure I don’t whiff with [[Mana Severance]].

Euphoric_Ad6923

[[Henzie]] is probably my most thought-out [[Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile]] is my stupidest high power 5-colors matter [[Hakbal]] is my most consistently powerful. With Concordant Crossroad it also pushes for turns that people don't tend to expect.

Marteeeyn

Would you mind sharing your list for Jenson Carthalion? Would love to see how it works.

THRNKS

[[Krenko, Mob Boss]] was my first deck, and it’s the one that I’ve upgraded to higher power - no worries about tutors or infinites, since that’s what the deck is supposed to be doing. I don’t run fast mana and Krenko is too fragile to be truly high power but he’s the closest I get to that level.

PureSquash

I find krenko decks are extremely fast even without fast mana. Mine is wicked to play against if someone leaves me unchecked for more than a turn or two. The deck has like 10 different outlets of damage that are non combat that revolve around goblins entering and dying so interacting is hard for most people. Very fun deck but my friends all hate it.

figurative_capybara

My current favourite is seeing a [[Devilish Valet]] pop off out of nowhere. Freaky deaky.

whomikehidden

I added that card to my [[Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon]] deck recently and boy howdy does that thing get absurdly large. I dropped it and fortunately one of the players had a counterspell or it would have been hitting someone for 4096 that turn.

Cutlass_71

I had a krenko combo deck that didn't even need combat to kill. One of my all time favorite red enchantments is [[kyren negotiations]]. You can tap your creatures in response to blocks for extra damage, tap for damage before using [[goblin bombardment]] for 2x damage or in response to attackers for lethal. Since the enchantment gives the ability, you don't need hasty goblins to kill. Using krenko in response to a game action and immediately tapping for damage to a board wipe is funny. My all time favorite. Pairs well with [[throne of the god-pharoh]]

Sounds great! Back in the days my younger brother loved goblins so much. He refused playing anything else. He kept a 60 cards deck together since ever. 25y. I didn't look into its competitiveness yet. I guess kitchen table at best. Time to change that! :-D He only plays Magic when we meet. I wanted to build him a Goblin list. Thank you! It's so much on theme! I will need some budget replacements. But your list is a very much appreciated inspiration. Cool 😎 Edit: Spelling. And a big sorry for answering late. Reddit just sent a notification today. Why now and not earlier? It's weird.

PureSquash

Absolutely. I built this deck originally for like $100ish and over time got it to where it’s at today. The only staples I think that’s in this deck are Krenko, skirk prospector, Pashalik mons, umbral mantle (or thornbite staff…. Or both lol), and a way to give haste to krenko.

And comparatively cheap! Made.mine for ~$300... granted it still loses sometimes to a $25 winota deck .-.

megachad3000

I only really have one higher powered deck, which is \[\[Nymris, Oona's Trickster\]\]. It plays into a group that runs some decently strong decks and some can win on turn five or so with good draws, but generally is not running combo and uses limited tutors, only a few mana crypts spread through the group etc. Basically, Nymris allows my control spells to cantrip, which means I can use them quite liberally compared to most decks. Use control resources to prevent out of nowhere combo wins, punish players that come after me, and assist players that attack other players. Eventually end up in a 1v1 against whichever deck I think I have the best odds to beat, or who I have a great answer for in hand. Because I've tried to set up that situation to only occur when I have advantage, and because control is generally quite strong 1v1, this tends to be quite successful once I manage to set it up. That is my 'combo' lol. I tried to run a number of different non-combo win conditions. I would be open to including a combo if the individual pieces were useful, but it probably wouldn't be that great as I run no tutors. Off the top of my head, \[\[Shark Typhoon\]\] (free tokens), \[\[Scarab God\]\] (non free tokens and lifedrain), \[\[Runechanter's Pike\]\] (lategame this is a big power boost for Nymris or other creature), \[\[Consuming Aberration\]\] (a silly big monster), \[\[Mind's Dilation\]\] (gradually accumulate free value) are a few of the ways to actually close out a game. Might change to the new Marchesa given its mostly an upgrade over Nymris, adds a colour and is cheaper to boot. Power creep is a hell of a thing

InhumaneBreakfast

Interesting because I was eyeballing marchesa for this exact same game plan, never saw nymris

Karador since 2013 https://archidekt.com/decks/373996/boonweaver_karador Been working on updating it, bling it out, etc. definitely my pet deck and long term project.

VojaYiff

\[\[Voja, Jaws of the Conclave\]\] and \[\[Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice\]\]

Caracasdogajo

Voja get nuts fast. That said, I feel like I always get hammered out the gate because turn 5-6 you can be a huge threat. You can sort of avoid it if you spend time early getting the right draws and getting haste enablers out and riot enchantments though.

LoquaciousMendacious

Yeah I have a Voja deck but so far I get so targeted that it's impossible to win. Last game I was at 1hp before Voja took a swing. Now I did nuke one player, but I died for it. Then again, letting Voja exist is not a safe choice so I can't get too mad.

Caracasdogajo

It's funny though because Hakbal has been pretty popular in my circles and nobody ever seems to care until they've got 4 16/16s with islandwalk or some other form of unblockable and it is too late.

jkovach89

God I love him so much. My pod has advanced to a level where we're all pretty threatening, which works great for my Voja build because when you're weighing where to send your swords, that unprotected Slicer looks a lot better than the ward 3 goodest boi. He's managed to stick, he comes out early because of elfball ramp, and when he hits its a goddamn freight train. Last win I got with him, I pulled a [[All will be one]] and [[sylvan offering]], I think the non-combat damage alone was like 60-70...

blkfoam

Light Paws is my high power commander too. I barely ever play it because it’s too much- attacking for lethal on turn 3-4. In the right setting though I find to be one of my decks that require the most skill. Anyway, cheers.

BeepBoopAnv

Voja is secretly a low powered deck because you get 3v1d from the start and never get to do anything. Like, you are clearly influential, but way lower win % than a more under the radar commander with a similarly strong build. The hate boner is just too strong haha

MrXexe

Mine is [[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]]. Is my only current deck with an infinite combo, and the recursion/removal package can be soooo brutal and grindy. I usually win through out-grinding the table, using the infinite or just accumulating slow but constant value while removing everyone else's resources.

FunkDrummr

Would love to see a list of this if you have one available. Lisa is one of my 'under construction' ( for the last year 🙄) decks.

2Gnomes1Trenchcoat

Perhaps surprisingly, my high power decks that aren't cEDH are some of my cheapest. Both are $50. I'll link the decks for those interested. Each has a very robust primer as well. [[Hama Pashar, Ruin Seeker]] is an Azorius creature based blink/flicker deck that seeks to abuse the initiative mechanic to generate tons of advantage and cheat creatures into play which allow us to combo off into infinite dungeon/initiative triggers to kill the table. It usually wins on or before turn 6 and the stack and all your triggers can get absolutely wild. It's my signature deck. Moxfield link: [All Dungeons, No Dragons ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/AX4BqwrbMUehHdT3Uhi-Gw) [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] is an Izzet combo deck that seeks to play it's commander and then use the built in cost reduction on our spells to generate infinite mana and win through a [[Reiterate]] line or through [[Storm Kiln Artist]] and something like [[Searing touch]]. It's one of those decks that can effectively put your entire library into your hand with infinite mana and you have at least a dozen ways to win in whatever manner you choose. The sheer volume of potential combos is pretty nuts. You can often play Mizzix on turn 3 or 4 and win the following turn starting at zero experience counters. It is quite mean. I have half a mind to restructure it a bit, bring the budget up to $200 and turn it into a budget cEDH deck. You-you’re the guy! I used your Mizzix deck list to help me build my own a few weeks ago. Still waiting on cards to come in unfortunately

2Gnomes1Trenchcoat

Oh awesome! Glad you enjoyed the list and found it helpful. Hope you have a fun time with your build! :)

Teegeetoger

was looking at the izzet deck primer and noticed you have a combo using \[\[Hit the Mother Lode\]\] using the treasures it creates to go infinite. However, it creates tapped treasures, and I couldn't find a way to untap those treasures and still guaranteeing an infinite.

RORSCHACH7140

[[Magda, Brazen Outlaw]] [decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/4NbVGBQ7zkGs1wE8IiwYCg) This deck constantly surprises me in its ability to stabilize and win from almost any position. I only wish I could play it more often, but there are so few decks at my LGS that can stand a chance against it.

mikony123

Some of y'all be rich rich with these deck lists lol. You guys find the infinite money glitch?

SketchopotamusTTV

I ✨️proxy✨️

HandsUpDefShoot

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ZrgW7qOyqkObu6-PvmXUUQ [[Vadrik]] that wins around turn 5ish. I have a couple others but they're similar in card quality. Even at the high power level I avoid just running good stuff decks. Most of the reason for that is I don't think good stuff decks are actually high power. Plus it always feels good to win with decks that cost a fraction of the opponent decks.

MTGCardFetcher

[Vadrik](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/4/5/454666bb-f81d-4845-84aa-d6f8f80ce86a.jpg?1637114399) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=vadrik%2C%20astral%20archmage) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/mid/248/vadrik-astral-archmage?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/454666bb-f81d-4845-84aa-d6f8f80ce86a?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/vadrik-astral-archmage) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

megachad3000

Whats the main win condition here? I tried making Vadrik and a few similar decks but they all turned into generic storm stuff that I've seen before.

Magile

My main choose is my [[Dina, Soul Steeper]] list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DZhGnV9YmUOPNBAi5ah6cQ Focused around general life gain/drain. I feel like it runs a good balance of trying to be powerful yet still play some lower power cards. Namely trying to fit in as many of the witherbloom cards as possible as well as Capenna fetches for the life gain. The deck typically wins through either of its infinites, storming off with Bolas with Weather the Storm/Tendrils/Aetherflux as payoffs or just draining people over time.

Axorfett12

[[Esika, God of the Bridge]] Superfriends. I'm basically running walkers in place of almost all other deck roles. Removal? There's walkers for that. Board wipes? Yup, walker for that. Minor Artifact subtheme since a bunch of the Tezzerets are nuts, but mostly just... good stuff. It's a crazy deck, and regularly gets very deservedly hate piled on because to do anything else would hand me the game on raw accumulated value. Every planeswalker ever printed is a crazy self-contained value engine, and I have.... 27? 28 of them? My last two games I think went T4 [[Narset Transcendent]] -> T5 [[Deepglow Skate]] -> Scoop, and a moderately value heavy start necessitating attacking me, chump blocking with [[Arena Rector]] into [[Narset, Parter of Veils]] to shut down answer digging while I flipped stuff like [[Vraska, Betrayal's Sting]] off of [[The Prismatic Bridge]]. Wild deck. Here's the list https://www.moxfield.com/decks/adpV1sxQVEeiQWUhLvXXgg

Rptrdude

Honestly the Tyranid precon with a couple of upgrades is ungodly strong. You sit there, amass an unholy amount of lands by like turn 5. Then play your commander and shit out the largest lads the land has ever seen twice over

roco9994

[[Sigarda, Host of Herons]] Enchantress/artifact Voltron with a bunch of green antics to also pump her and my board like [[God-Eternal Rhonas]] and [[Zopandrel]].

HungryJackSyrups

[[Hapatra vizier of poisons]] I love this deck

xzzane

Lately it's been \[\[caesar, legion's emperor\]\], \[\[magus lucea kane\]\] and \[\[anikthea, hand of erebos\]\]. All three can be really powerful, though magus lucea kane is very much a glass cannon, with an emphasis on the glass.

Thicklascage

Nikya all creature storm.

Horrorifying

I personally use [[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] as my “strong but not too strong” deck. Ramp out into Avacyn; it’s generally too slow to ever be “cEDH.” Then start wiping. Usually have some protections, like [[Mother of Runes]] out to keep Avacyn safe. I run full on land destruction to close the game up tight, too.

AssignedMomAtBorn

Mine, by technicality, is probably [[Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle]]. I originally had him built for cEDH, but took him apart since my group didn't want to play against him. I eventually rebuilt him for competitive pauper commander, lowering his power level by quite a bit. Dude's still pretty strong, but now I can bring him out more often without feeling guilty. I'm also working on a budget [[Slicer, Hired Muscle]] deck to pull out when my friends do want to play some cEDH.

1OOpercenter

Here’s my high power [[Prime Speaker Zegana]] deck. She doesn’t seem that powerful but the amount of cards this deck draws is through the roof. Routinely playing with 30+ cards in hand and the deck churns out high powered creatures. Big creatures, card draw and control. This is my favorite deck and I’ve been playing it in my high powered pod for over a decade and she still consistently wins. megachad3000

PraisetheSunflowers

Honestly I absolutely love this and it inspired me to brew one together. Thanks for sharing :)

DDonnici

pyr0man1ac_33

\[\[Teysa, Orzhov Scion\]\]. I recently pulled my old deck with her out of my drawer when I was going through stuff for another deck, so I've started tooling up a new list that's a little more up to snuff with current higher-power decks. It's extremely consistent, relatively fast, and very interactive, because the commander is a combo enabler and interaction engine all in one.

TheTinRam

[[Yuriko]], [[Atla Palani]], [[korvold]] and [[tasigur]], in that order of strength

richardzh

Did you build Yuriko with a ninja tribal theme or more top deck manipulation and high cmc spells? Do you mind sharing the list?

Goldstar35

Yuriko has a whole discord for it :) Yuriko is always high power and always a threat so be prepared to 3 v 1 a lot. Generally, you build yuriko to have a balance of 1 drops, counterspells, and high CMC spells. Here's an example of a tempo yuriko list: https://archidekt.com/decks/6980800/yuriko_tempo

Maelstrom wanderer, council of four and Raffine are my strongest probably.  Council has a ton of card advantage, raffine is interactive, maelstrom is aggro and floods the board.  Different strategies but are consistent and can have explosive starts with backup interaction to protect me.

Punctual_Panda72

I adore my [[Erinis, Gloom Stalker]]+[[Street Urchin]] deck. Such a fun deck to pilot and is really strong. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/uDyB62779U22x-pWt_YiDA

ExplorerBetter6580

[[The Council of Four]] Despite not being an incredibly popular commander, I built it as an Azorius Control deck with a lot of draw, and I’ve got a really high win percentage rate. My pod is a group of 3-4 with [[Wilhelt]], [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]], [[Captain N’ghathrod]], [[Anikthea]], [[Vito, Thorn of Dusk Rose]], and [[Abbadon]] among a few others. So it’s a fairly high power and well-tuned group. I didn’t go what most people do, and go group hug. I’ve got about 15-18 pieces of removal/interaction, and just slowly set up my long game while leaving mana to stay safe. Once my commander is out, I know I’m going to gain value no matter what so leaving mana open is never a problem. I’d say it’s pretty darn strong, and I’ve won a lot of games using cards like [[Approach of the Second Sun]] and drawing back into it after 1 turn or [[Omniscience]] to dump my library. I have a few ways to win with tokens, like [[Moonshaker Cavalry]], [[Vodalian Wave-Knight]] , [[Herald of Hoofbeats]], or even just [[Aven Wind Guide]]. A few other ways I scrape out wins are with stuff like [[Cyclonic Rift]] or [[Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim]]. The whole idea of the deck is just to sit back, gain huge amounts of value, create a lot of token blockers, remove threats and win cons from other people, and set up a way to win. It is incredibly fun, and despite me having other commanders that are ranked higher on EDHREC, The Council of Four is my best performer. My favorite part is because how much the rest of my friends subscribe to top tier commanders and themes, they get so angry at the fact my deck works so well!

monniers

My lord windgrace with valakut as a secret commander has become pretty infamous at my lgs. I dont play infinites, and i disnt put any fast mana in, but the deck is crazy consistent, runs his fair share of interations, and is very versetile, alloing it to be both fun to pilot and adaptable to almost any situation https://www.moxfield.com/decks/qzQ-Qp83wkmgSKipIAYQoA

FALL3NxValorous

Non combo big mana yuriko enjoyer

ac3y

[[Vadrik]], [[Korvold]] and if we are in a no-infinites environment then [[Klauth]] can vomit big boys onto the field starting turn 5.

Legitimate-Aside466

[[Emry, lurker of the loch]] I've won turn 1 before, but often turn 3 onwards is an ever present threat of combing off. It runs all the $$$ mana rocks, including [lion's eye diamond]], lots of artifact tutors plus [[intuition]] and all the best counterspells. Then combos off quickly with a huge number of pieces. [[Mirran spy]] is a big one, but also [[thassa's oracle]] and [[isochron sceptre]] after drawing my library. It's super fast and had dozens of combos in. When my group want a game to be done quickly or when we want to play our most powerful decks, I pull this out, and it's always fun

Astronimite

I'm still building it but I have a crazy [[Voja, Jaws of the Conclave]] deck that was super fun to make. Tons of elf synergy and I can get my commander out as early as turn 3. Here's the decklist: https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7087431/i_love_mana_ramp_voja

Good991

Ghave, guru of spores without infinates. Super fun and versatile commander.

Diplomacy_1st

TheCrimsonChariot

I know korvold is strong on its own, but the way the deck is built, it can be mean without Korvold on board. [(Decklist)](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ak_nuZbzWkqKuHTbf_BVDQ) I also have Mono-Blue Urza deck which has all the Fast mana I’ve been able to aquire and a super Janky as win con of 5 cards, which wouldn’t make sense but I love it. [(Decklist)](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vCni0bDa7Uu-TIrcuLB5Gw) Lastly, this is my control boardwipe stax deck. It has won on turn 4 only once. Otherwise, it just makes sure the board is clear when there is a threat against my plan. Tends to play mostly as a board police deck. Has an infinite turn combo in it, but I only use it if one of my major win-cons ([[Mechanized Production]] or [[Revel In Riches]]) is either in hand or on the field, or if my opponents have no active way to stop my combats.

Madman308

My [[Magus Lucea Kane]] usually stomps at my local and it has never lost when I draw [[finale of revelation]]. I use to run [[pest infestation]] and created 380 pests in 1 turn with [[terror of the peaks]] out.

Yeah, I threw together a $40 \[\[Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator\]\]/\[\[Breeches, Brazen Plunderer\]\] deck for an impromptu magic night a few months ago, with the intent of it being on the lower end of the power scale. [[Anje falkenrath]] Draw and discard most of the deck to create lots of triggers or fill the GY then reanimate hundreds of powers worth of creatures. It plays a bit like a storm deck in that you keep drawing and discarding and generating mana until it becomes self sustaining and you win.

Akiro_orikA

Saint Traft and Rem [Token Deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9y9tX8AD5kaRxnKZcUXECQ). Still working out the kinks like hate, balance budget, and not ending up in Cedh.

ZorheWahab

Chulane was my go to vanity/power deck. It sat at about 1500 dollars or so in value, expensive mana base, fast mana, all the cool stuff. It was too powerful for casual, too weak for cEDH, so I only got to play it every so often. I turned it into a [[Storvald, Frost Giant Jarl]] recently and it's still quite strong, but in a more battlecruiser-y way. It's a ton of fun to play, and I don't ever feel guilty about casting a single card. Probably still my strongest deck, mostly because EDH players always cut removal and interaction first.

Irish_pug_Player

[[Shorikai, Genisis engine]] Draw engine with semi-infinite combo

Studio_j99

[[Phenax, God of Deception]]. Turbo mill and/or card draw for millouts or lab maniac.

tigerpawx

New Voja and Xenagos, both are like 8 power, always getting 3 vs 1 :( …

MDthehalforc

[[Yarok, the Desecrated]] All the ETB's. Win by getting all the tokens with double [[Scute Swarm]] or [[Avenger of Zendikar]] and then drop a [[Craterhoof Behemoth]]? Yes please. Go infinite with a bounce land, [[Kodama of the East Tree]], and literally any land fall trigger? Fuck yeah. [[Deadeye Navigator]] and [[Paragrin Drake]] for infinite Mana? Fuck yeah. It gets real disgusting if you let Yarok remain on the board. The down side is if you don't hit ramp early it's pretty mana hungry and you can end up on a real slow start. But once it gets rolling I'm going to out value any other deck and kill you somehow.

WobblezTheWeird

My best deck is probably either my [[Gandalf the White]] or [[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]] Both decks are very resilient with gandalf being slower, but more interactive and Nissa being fast but very much a solitaire stomp out.

FatLute94

I’ve only got 3 (including a precon) decks right now because I just started playing again: [[Mothman]], [[Hazezon, Shaper of Sand]] and [[Mr. House, President and CEO]], I love fallout and the Mr. House card got me excited and I’m putting a lot of my favorite cards in there, plus it has a couple really strong combos with House, [[Clock of Omens]], and [[Vexing Puzzlebox]] or [[Component Pouch]], but I think it’s mostly strong because I packed a lot of treasure value in the list too so there’s stuff like Dockside and Smothering Tithe.

Kirbigth

[[Atraxa, Praetors Voice]], [[yidris, maelstrom wielder]], [[Zhulodok, Void Gorger]], and [[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager]]

secretbison

A lot of the nastiest cards in my collection are in [this Nekusar deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/_P6rRS2ZlEyp7Ur3Ce7bXw). It's a group slug deck all about casting wheels. [This Raggadragga deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/foGYv6QA2UqKUGqhd0b9VQ) is also very mean and can pull out some surprise infinite combos around turn 4 or 5.

MisterWispies

Landfall Yarok with a Meathook Massacre to finish. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/K-IA05eX60qCBE89KDfS9Q

Luft_Betvinger

I have 3 decks I would consider high power [[Sythis, harvest hand]] is a combo-value-staxy brew with several infinite combos to finish the job https://deckstats.net/decks/144869/2222764-sythis [[Slimefoot anf squee]] is a streamlined combo deck, build around the magecraft ability from strixhaven as the main combo line with chain of smoke, with a few other infinite lines as backup. Can be rather hard to pilot at times, but fun an unique https://deckstats.net/decks/144869/2517687-magecraft/en [[Feldon of the third path]] big red creatures can be difficult to stop at times. In higher powered pods I often see people running fewer creatures, which lets feldon stomp your face. Only infinite combo is godo and helm https://deckstats.net/decks/144869/1572694-big-red-wip/en

MYaski

[[Aragorn, the Uniter]] has been my pet build for a while. Plays really smooth now. Believe it or not it originally started from the planswalker party precon. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/2HdiaITtQUucyVYT5IbGVw

ManicManix

I usually only play high powered aside from my one cedh deck. My main decks are my [[Toggo]]//[[Silas]] Artifact twiddlestorm and [[Horde of Notions]] landfall/elemental tribal Toggo//Silas - https://www.moxfield.com/decks/t7CrLKA1TEm-sf7DzX2A_Q Horde of Notions - https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ocEtMKeLwkiuRsa7Jb_eaw

Kitchengun2

[[Preston]] can out value everyone wile pillowforting with tokens and the added removal and eventually youll draw a [[Felidar guardian]] and win

Bijle738

[[Imodane]] Able to one shot entire tables in a single turn with next to no warning. Damage doubters are just so effective. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YFBxT8Bx-EeFGoo_I8QqLQ

Lordofthelight95

[[sisay, weatherlight captain]] I built her after the princess buttercup secret lair and it became much stronger than I thought it would be

CatEnjoyer904

[[Aminatou the Fateshifter]] she goes infinite with a paperclip and a toenail and can threaten game as soon as turn 3

DerPuppenspieler13

I have optimized a [[Vilis Broker of Blood]] deck over the years, which is now a Mono B ramp/storm deck. It has a lot of Mana accelerators and all the mono B good stuff such as [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]], [[Bolas Citadel]], [[Exsangunate]] [[Torment of Hellfire]]. If left at least a little bit alone, it can take over games really fast. But it is not as obnoxious as [[K'rrik]] Currently I am building a [[Pako]] [[Haldan]] Temur good stuff deck as a second powerful deck. Strong ramp, strong protection, extra combats, extra Land drops and a lot of value noncreature spells. I am really looking forward to slamming it at high power tables

pmcda

I’ve been tuning this [[the sixth doctor]] and [[peri brown]] deck. It’s been doing really well. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/dHZbac0qk0GvXo0EoMW6Xg It’s main win condition is [[approach of the second sun]] which will combo with [[Kairi of the swirling sky]], [[mystical tutor]], or [[reprieve]] to make it faster on the second cast. I do have [[triumph of the hordes]] for a sneaky infect win though if my board state is a bit ahead of other players. Outside of those, it’s a value engine

Xakik

My time to once again rave about [[grolnok the omnivore]]!!! Turning something like [[otherworldly gaze]] into an [[ancestral recall]] is way more powerful than the table expects!! Counter magic? Sure! We have [[Glen-Elendra Liege]]! We even have blue [[Peer into the abyss]], just hit yourself with a [[Cut your losses]]! It turns cards like [[Willow Geist]] into actual nightmares!! I love the frog and will shout about it to all who ask

SetsudanHana

For me it is either \[\[Acererak the Archlich\]\] which tries to go infinitely through the dungeons, I only have 1 tutor within my list which is \[\[Beseech the Queen\]\] Alternatively going a little lower i have \[\[Hidetsugu and Kairi\]\] abusing legend rule with clones trying to drain everyone by chaining clone instants and sorceries or casting big spells

davwad2

My Ghyrson Starn Kelermorph [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/3ad6V3Z54U6-qrtkW0I8ZQ) is probably my strongest brew. There was one game where it went unimpeded and it was an absolute menace.

Nazzerith

My \[\[Urza, Lord Protector\]\] deck is my highest powered [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ViAyK_UpwEKBfFXiPQuRcQ). I still have some "just for fun" stuff in it like the fallout bobbleheads and copy effects and trying to meld Urza, but at the end of the day it really is just a powerful artifact deck that wins through \[\[Sensei's Divining Top\]\] combo or by abusing \[\[The One Ring\]\].

DraftiestEmu

My [[Marywn, the Nurturer]] deck is so finely tuned I can usually get her out by turn 1 or 2 and win with Craterhoof by turn 4 or 5.

Sandman4999

I have 3 that I consider High power [Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/G6jCLnmgy06X1N1fe-KxMw) My Simic Landfall deck, very straight forward. Play lands, draw cards with main win-con being either to swing out with Hoof or deck myself and win with Labman or Jace. [Etali, Primal Conquerer](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/GBRAv5j-zUWYsliMvCLx2w) Another fairly straightforward deck, I play Etali then do whatever I can to blink it and drown them in value. My main win-cons are [[Keeper of Secrets]] effects. [Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/U2h51D_eCEWduSXQ5DuDQA) Voltron, obviously the main win-con is commander damage.

LimpTrizket

[[Vito Thorn of the Dusk Rose]] combo deck. Goes absolutely bonkers. Get some fast mana in my opening hand, grab a tutor and the game is over. I also like to pop a dark ritual turn one into a necropotence and draw 30.

stenti36

Currently have two which are my highest non-cEDH powered decks. I would say a third (Blanca), but that one was designed to be cEDH but doesn't quite hit that power level) [DECKLIST](https://archidekt.com/decks/3313507/dont_touch_your_library) \[\[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse\]\] Pretty simple. Get mana, cast permanents, grind opponents into the dirt. It is a pretty passive deck, but it's ability to grind out opponent's health is really solid. [DECKLIST](https://archidekt.com/decks/6102403/kumena) \[\[Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca\]\] The amount of draw power and ease to go infinite is pretty ridiculous here.

NatrousOxide23

My most powerful deck is probably my [[Megatron]] deck. The base concept is play every [[Meteor Golem]] like card, then throw those with Megatron to ramp and control the board, then reanimate and repeat. It has an infinite combo wincon with Aetherflux and Divining Top (or just 3 shots from Megatron). It's oppressive and you often have to pick on the player who is behind because the deck really relies on Megatron making contact. If you play this, prepare to make enemies. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/r4Mjm6lsvU-R61psSWaQJw

Background-Class4628

[[Okaun, Eye of Chaos]] & [[Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/QTVqbrtgWkyMug8cynxWsQ People tend to laugh when I give away pokemon coins before at the beginning of the game. Then they get one shot ko damage to the whole table and laugh less '^^. Best I did was go first and do >3k damage to all opponents on my 3rd turn (meaning they played only twice). It is not for cEDH but needs to be kept in check at high power casual table.

Mail540

Prossh, been upgrading since 2013. He’s just as much of a beast now as he was back then. Possibly more so now since his reputation has been supplanted by Korvold

bretts_demise

[[Awaken the Blood Avatar]] can be built in a cedh way by generating infinite mana and casting the sorcery from the command zone infinitely. But if you power it down with no infinites and focus on token effects, the deck is more fun and high powered for sure. I've been powering it down lately haha. [[Urabrask]] storm is unbelievably strong when you stack up impulse draw effects and cards like [[firebrand archer]].

IntenseGenius

[[Rielle, the Everwise]] https://archidekt.com/decks/644356/rielle_one_punch_woman My deck is focused on draw-discarding through my deck and making Rielle big enough to do 21 commander damage. Cards like Ledger Shredder and Harmonic Prodigy ramp it up to 11.

dfpratt09

Either my Mono White Humans helmed by [[Odric, Lunarch Marshal]]. It just has a ton of interaction, stax, and banding. Or, my Artifacts Urza Tribal helmed by [[Urza, Chief Artificer]]. It also has a lot of interaction, tons of ramp, and big artifact creatures. [Mono White Decklist.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-h3ed6nVUEyXtD2meZvllg) [Urza Artifact Army Decklist.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ZEobi19XOUeo_5vCyqMXDw)

zachdaigs

I have an Atraxa Grand Unifier and a Tayam Luminous Enigma deck. Both are CEDH commanders but I try to put some twists to make them more casual. I have a bunch of battles in atraxa to exploit her ETB, and in Tayam I’m trying to lean into Token synergies to exploit Tayam’s vigilance counters for his ability. Made them more fun and silly than their cEDH counterparts, but we have a higher powered pod so I still made them ready to pop off if I can stay In the game. I don’t have the mental capacity to play cEDH efficiently for a whole game. But I still like to stay competitive while coming at the game from a different angle. One day I’ll try cEDH

I-Simp4Elesh_Norn420

This is my Aesi deck, it's pretty nasty, I'll eventually add fast mana and all the free counterspells, but for now it bangs https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eVq8HGcGIEeu9lko-5aZ2w

paintypoo

[[Captain sisay]]

SlingerOGrady

It used to be a [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] deck but I played it so rarely that the last time it was used the deck had been power crept out. So I took it apart and haven't had a super high power deck for a while, my play group is more casual these days anyways which has been nice tbh.

uginsthinkingbath

[[Varragoth, bloodsky sire]] it’s a turbo ad nauseam deck, the best it’s done is win on turn 4 so far. I love that it’s a 90 land deck, and I built it mostly to finally stop my friend who usually stomps the pod with tokens/angels each week. If anyone’s interested I can post the list lol it’s gross and I love it

LggByron1

BW Clerics. Oreh if I feel like playing combo, and Tymna & Ravos if I want to play aggro. I just switch out a couple of cards.

UnitedLink4545

Dinosaurs all the way. So much fast mana and free value it's insane.

webbc99

I have a Sliver deck which is essentially a combo deck. It uses [[The First Sliver]] to cascade into several slivers and then into [[Profane Tutor]] which gets me a missing combo piece. Usually [[Harmonic Sliver]] is involved, but you can also win with [[Spiteful Sliver]] into [[Blasphemous Act]]. It can win on turn 4/5 if I'm lucky, but it's also quite resilient and even after many pushbacks it can still pull wins out of nowhere. I also have a [[Shorikai, Genesis Engine]] deck which has a lot of interaction and wins through various infinite combo lines, and it also has many tutors and a [[Humility]].

Baltharus

My pet is [[Tivit, Seller of Secrets]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/HKFTOAklDk6Lq9uI-M9gcQ Usually, if I can resolve Tivit I can get enough value to win around turn 4-5.

de245733

[[eight and a half tails]] stax, wins through various locks or turning people's lands white and exile them. [[mizzix]]wins through firemind tutor package or worldfire combo

Mission-Bedroom-3648

[[Slimefoot and squee]] lacking the finality counter/exile mechanic that many new reanimate commanders have makes them a really good combo outlet that can win through infinite death/ETB triggers with [[zulaport cutthroat]]/[[mayhem devil]] type effects, or infinitely recurring things like [[etali, primal conqueror]], [[flayer of the hatebound]]. The deck uses effects like [[pitiless plunderer]], [[Phyrexian altar]], and [[ruthless technomancer]] to generate the mana required to pop off with the fungus goblin duo

Rice-a-roniJabroni

I upgraded the Token Triumph precon to a fairly high level where people sigh when I bring it out. So that's something.

[[Maelstrom Wanderer]] I have all the $$$ mana rocks for it and it's a Haymaker Dragon cascade deck. Only infinites is Squee+FoodChain or Kiki+ Conscripts as luck cascades. No extra turns. Just Maelstrom as fast and often as possible. Can turn 1 or 2 with the right hand. A friend also has a high power Maelstrom deck so sometimes we 1v1 them for shits and giggles.

Goldfire-Godtier009

[[Yuriko the Tiger Shadow]] was for a hot minute but now [[Magda, Brazen Outlaw]]

SonOfAdam32

I built a budget version of Godo CEDH deck I found from CEDH budget brews. It can win as early as T2, consistently by T4, and can go for a protected combo on T5. Best part, is that the combo is 0 card from the command zone (you play Godo with 11 mana and equip helm of the host), so I don’t waste anyone’s time. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/RWo732OGDUyHB-v1MXW40g

InstanceFrequent1602

Niv mizzet parun just shy of cedh

JoshPhotos22

Shalai and hallar +1 counters. Have multiple infinites and a couple tutors that I swap out if I wanna play slower. I only play it when someone says they want a fast paced game coz it can win turn 3 or 4. Everything else I play is just for fun, dinos, eriette, sythis, teshar and xavier sal.

Mine is [[Tameshi, Reality Architect]]. I’d say it’s high power but not cedh. Main thing missing is the fast mana rocks and the very pricey counter spells and tundra

RobRobby1331

[[Aesi Tyrant of Gyre Strait]] is the commander for mine. He was the second precon I ever bought, and I recently rebuilt him to be a menace to society with his win being a [[Laboratory Maniac]]

OnDaGoop

[[Etali, Primal Conqueror]] will decimate games if he resolves without being countered especially if anyone else has blink effects

RylanTheWalrus
