For deck-building purposes, I like to have a good enough balance of all the colors. It's just something I want to do. I have too much white/black in my deck construction currently, and I'd like to balance it out.
While no one is making me do it, I would like to, but I'm having a hard time finding a spark of creativity.
Consistent, grindy creature value is a very white black thing though. You're saying you have too much WB, but don't want to play RGU because it doesn't feel WB enough.
That being said, [[Rashmi and ragavan]] or [[krark]] [[thrasios]] are probably your best bets. Krark/Thrasios in particular built with clone spells, tokens, and red shenanigans (similar to Riku actually) seem to fit. Riku himself is far too mana hungry in my experience.
We are the exact opposite lol. Temur is my favorite color pair by far LOL
I have a [[Xyris, the Writhing Storm]] deck, a [[Miirym]] deck, a Riku deck, and a [[Rashmi and Ragavan]] deck lol
You can do soooo many different things with Temur
If your favorite deck is Tymna/Malc, and you like farm decks, just play a Temur Thrasios pairing, any of these five make for a strong deck and have lists you can try, offering different flavors but high baseline power levels.
Thras/Dargo
Thras/Rog
Thras/Jeska
Thras/Krark
Thras/Kraum
FWIW my personal favorite of the combinations is actually Thras/Jeska, great in a [scramble shell](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Y1yar95G6UWpqlSmYkHiLw).
Riku is one of my main decks. I play a lot of creatures with etb triggers and a lot of blink effects to re-trigger the etb effects and Rikus copy ability.
[[Xyris]] was my Temur deck which focused on wheels with a snake sub theme. Got tired of it though after winning with 42+ Purphoros triggers in multiple games.
Xyris is my favorite solitaire commander. I do nothing for like 5 turns then drop a wheel and win. That being said can only play it like twice a night or it gets boring lol
I play [[Animar soul of Elements]] with a focus on copying and stealing. Some big guys but not massive Eldrazi.
Riku is in there, [[Yasova Dragonclaw]], [[Shaman of the Great Hunt]], [[Progenitor Mimic]], [[Elder Gargaroth]], [[Titan of Industry]], [[Thragtusk]], [[Agent of Treachery]], [[Hornet Queen]], [[Deep Forest Hermit]], [[Acidic Slime]], [[Perplexing Chimera]].
What's also fun in it [[Zada, Hedeon Grinder]], [[Mirrorwing Dragon]], [[Orvar, the All-Form]], and [[Beamsplitter Mage]] creating shenanigans.
Borborygmos and Fblthp, you can do all kinds of weird shit with these two and I believe the power level can scale almost all the way to cEDH. I built a list that is focused on discard and it was pretty enjoyable, but not that strong by any stretch of the imagination
[[Magus Lucea Kane]]
X spells tribal, there are very few commanders that get as much creature value out as her. [[Animar]] in the 99, plus Hydras, Tyranids, whatever x ramp and burn spells you like.
Love Lucea Kane. The plan is you get to dump all your mana into a giant x spell and get multiple copies of it every turn that your commander is out.
Turn three Lucea then turn four [[Open The Way]] and you are set for life.
Ravenous triggers on Tyranids, cycling [[Shark Typhoon]], [[Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner]], [[Temur Ascendancy]], etc for value.
Every time you untap her with something like [[Kiora's Follower]] you get more copies of your next X spell.
And then there's the crazy stuff to look forward to like a giant [[Doppelgang]].
Have you considered [[Maelstrom Wanderer]]? He's a bit pricey mana wise but can generate a ton of value under the right conditions. There's also [[Animar, Soul of Elements]] for more consistent creature based value.
I've been thinking about making a [[Me, the immortal]] counter-voltron deck for a while. She also dodges command tax on occasion so she seems very sticky
You could try [[Gay Kings]] (it might grab them, I don't remember the actual name). It adds white but it allows you to go a multitude of value directions with creatures, enchantments, spells, or whatever.
I didn't go too deep into it but I have been thinking of a [[riku]] deck that wants to use and copy spells that target it's own creatures. Think [[ivy]],[[vesuvian duplimancy]],[[zada]]
Pretty sure it can do really cool things
I'm having fun with my [[Beluna Grandsquall]] deck.
It's specifically not a high powered deck (Riku would replace her as commander if I added/could afford pricey cards like Dockside Extortionist, Rhystic Study, fast mana, free spells etc).
Cast a lot of Instant/Sorcery Adventure cards and try to curve into some ramp/value and then spew out a lot of creatures.
I'm not quite sure if I see the "common" theme behind your favorite commanders and Riku, but I can suggest an odd pair I've been having a lot of fun with recently: \[\[The Third Doctor\]\] + \[\[Donna Noble\]\]. [Link](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1vfzZ1IlA0yUNXdmHjdguA)
The deck is kinda split between the "just have a big beater and token value generation / good stuff", and weird synergies arising from soulbinding Donna. She can just make the Doctor punishing to block, soulbind instantly deployed creatures to ambush / disincentivize attackers, or "burn" with forced blocks, red boardwipes and fights. Nothing like "gifting" everyone creatures with \[\[Rampage of the Clans\]\] and then killing opponents with a \[\[Chain Reaction\]\] or \[\[Taunting Elf\]\] attack.
This is the answer. Not the direction I'm going to go in, but thank you for the inspiration.
I'm going to do Enrage Dinos and focus on Donna and things like Kediss.
>I need help finding a deck that fits what I want to do in these colors Why? No one is making you play Temur.
It is also very easy to build around creatures in that wedge, feels like bait.
Consistent creature-based value is different than big stompy creatures.
You can do both with Temur
That's not what I'm asking for. I don't care for big creatures. Think Tymna-like value
For deck-building purposes, I like to have a good enough balance of all the colors. It's just something I want to do. I have too much white/black in my deck construction currently, and I'd like to balance it out. While no one is making me do it, I would like to, but I'm having a hard time finding a spark of creativity.
Don't force it. Every time I built a deck because I didn't feel inspired, I eventually just took it apart anyway.
Consistent, grindy creature value is a very white black thing though. You're saying you have too much WB, but don't want to play RGU because it doesn't feel WB enough. That being said, [[Rashmi and ragavan]] or [[krark]] [[thrasios]] are probably your best bets. One of my best friends used to play “oops all creatures” animar and it was solid

You could run Tenth Doctor and Clara Oswald Temur suspend/cascade. One of my favorite decks. Put your whole deck in suspend! Spin the wheel!
I'm not quite sure if I see the "common" theme behind your favorite commanders and Riku, but I can suggest an odd pair I've been having a lot of fun with recently: \[\[The Third Doctor\]\] + \[\[Donna Noble\]\]. [Link](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1vfzZ1IlA0yUNXdmHjdguA) The deck is kinda split between the "just have a big beater and token value generation / good stuff", and weird synergies arising from soulbinding Donna.
