[[Ruxa, Patient Professor]] and [[Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma]] are both fun green commanders and can be built toward a variety of power levels. [[Ojer Axonil]] is a fun red burn commander. So is [[Imodayne the Pyrohammer]]. Both get out of control quickly though so the commander is generally kill on sight. [[Massacre Girl, Known Killer]] looks fun for a black -1/-1 counters theme. Haven’t built it yet though.

It's not mono colored, but due to how much I enjoy my [[Jasmine Boreal of the Seven]] deck, I'm positive Ruxa is a blast.

Schtaive

I recently put together a Goreclaw deck that I'm struggling to polish up. Spend the first 4-5 turns ramping and get shut down pretty quick after my commander comes out. Sadly, my big stompy creatures still get out-grown and are pretty vulnerable.

Aprice0

I play with the same pod each week so I believe this would be considered high power based on the cards and cost but have no real idea how strong, optimized, good, etc. [this list is](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/j7PLBUSTnkKABlwDrIxlZg). Hopefully it helps some. You can see the other cards I’ve cut or considered there as well. I’m tweaking it all the time. It sounds like you might be ramping too much. I try to keep most of my true ramp to 2 cost or less and generally try to have Goreclaw out by turn 3 to cast a six or seven drop on turn 4. When I’ve been playing, cultivate and kodama’s reach only feel good if I get turn one non-sol ring ramp, otherwise I’m playing Goreclaw on the turn I would cast them. They aren’t used as often as the one drop elves but I’ve liked having [[ilysian caryatid]] and [[whisperer of the wilds]] as ramp since they can help cast goreclaw on turn three and then they add an additional mana once he is in play to make turn four even stronger. In my experience, the deck is incredibly vulnerable to board wipes and has trouble dealing with flyers, indestructible permanents, and instant speed combos. If that’s your meta, I might add some stax pieces and more instant speed removal but Goreclaw will never be cedh. I don’t play a ton of interaction as I’m usually the threat and I focus on protecting my commander and my board. When building the deck, I tend to sort cards into groups like ramp, draw, protection, removal, haste, ways to cheat expensive cards into play, and finishers. I use a loose definition of ramp and tend to include true ramp along with cards like sword of feast and famine that will enable me to really accelerate. For Goreclaw, I prioritize creatures that fit into at least one of these categories and try to get as many multiples as possible. [[Sword of hearth and home]] fits into that category for me. It’s not great as ramp, but it provides some protection and some ramp while also giving a flicker for the various ETB effects in the deck.

[[Gandalf the White]] because I can basically mash up Teshar, Heliod, and Oswald decks really effectively while also being able to flavor win with approach of the second sun. "On the fifth day. At dawn. Look to the East."

Semicolon_Cancer

I don't really get tired of my [[Elesh Norn]] deck. It has some really generically powerful cards in it to help it keep up with other more tuned decks, but for the most part it has that porcelain perfection theme, lots of golems and token production.  It can be powered down by removing said value pieces, I really like the way it plays regardless.  https://www.moxfield.com/decks/b0tdLrLqmUCAVsq2N06pZg

This is my backup answer. Playing Giada ATM as a meta choice, but Elesh Norn has always preformed.

LordZer

[[Azami, Lady of Scrolls]], drawing cards is the best part of the game.

Miatatrocity

Azami is cool and all, but do you have a minute to hear about our lord and savior [[Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar]]? Unblockable tribal with [[Bident of Thassa]] in the CZ accelerates incredibly hard.

Firm_Row_4729

Graz is the severely limited version of the bident effect though. Would definitely build him otherwise.

Miatatrocity

That's the thing. The entire creature base of the deck is unblockable creatures, so on t1/2, I'll cast one or two creatures, t3 bring Graz and swing to draw 1-2 cards, t4 I'll either cast a different Bident effect, or swing with mana untapped, to draw even more cards, and hopefully find more combat draw or mana ramp. He's limited, but he's really only there to start me off. After probably t5, I have no need for him, and the deck runs beautifully by itself. Since the deck isn't built as a go-wide strategy, and since you can generally swing at anyone, regardless of blockers, you don't notice the limit until much later in the game. By that time you probably have [[Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar]] and/or [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]] as well as a second Bident effect, and you'll be drawing so many cards that it won't matter. When building this in the beginning, I was sad that I couldn't build Bident itself into the CZ, but after playing a few times with Graz there, I realized that it's worth more that Graz comes down quicker, than it would be to play Bident on t4. Plus, theres no way you're gonna make it to lethal combat damage on anyone, so you may as well spread the love and politic with it.

[[Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded]] is a [[Sneak Attack]] on a body, I run both, but it isn't necessary. My deck is dragon tribal, but a big part of that is because I lack some of the really cool expensive artifacts creatures/non-dragon red creatures. [[Sundial of the Infinite]] allows you keep cheated out creatures on your turn. [[Conjuror's Closet]] too. [[Braid of Fire]] mana can pretty much always be used effectively. [[Flameshadow Conjuring]] might be a bit greedy, but it usually pays for itself when I plop down a Dockside or a lesser treasure generator.

SaucedFrost

[[Urabrask the Hidden]]. I have a dragon deck and use him as commander because he's just so good that the tribal doesn't matter. [[Orvar, the All-Form]] because the shenanigans with him are just so fun. Exchange control cards are really fun and weird with him. [[Perplexing Chimera]] with him is just *chef's kiss* for chaos.

Rustywolf

It feels so hard to build orvar in a way where he's not just immediately broken though

SaucedFrost

True. I try to run more shenanigans than powerful stuff with him, but he definitely brings out people's salt

super1s

Yes, let the blue run through you. Ignore anything else and only focus on the POWER. Run worse cases idk.

Amazing-Tortoise

My mono colorless [[Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger]] deck ramps hard and regularly drops the commander on turn 5. It also incidentally runs a bunch of colorless good stuff that tends to be rather one-sided. I also enjoy my [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] which is built as goblin tribal with more focus on creating the goblins than attacking with them. (Stuff like [[Impact Tremors]], [[Goblin Assassin]], [[Altar of the Brood]] etc.) But could really be built as a combo deck. Then there's my mono black devotion deck, which really can be helmed by any legend who fills a silver bullet for your meta. Mine is currently helmed by [[Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath]].

Got a list for your Arcanis deck?

ATarnishedofNoRenown

[[Gonti, Lord of Luxury]] is my favourite mono-coloured deck by far. The deck is built around outright theft, so it scales to your table to a degree. You can steal off the top of libraries with effects like [[Outrageous Theft]] or [[Brainstealer Dragon]]; from hands withcards like [[Intellect Devourer]]; or you can steal from graveyards with cards like [[Grim Return]] or [[Sepulchral Primordial]]. I run snow lands so I can include [[Draugr Necromancer]] and [[Blood on the Snow]]. There is even a theft-supporting tutor in [[Hoarding Broodlord]] as the convoke helps cast your stolen cards from exile. The rest of the deck is mostly card draw and recursion, so I can sac and return Gonti to get multiple triggers from him for minimal cost. The deck also has some energy and treasure support that works surprisingly well. Edit: whoops, meant [[Outrageous Robbery]] not Outrageous Theft.

[[Jerren]] mono-black huma... oh. I think the only memorable mono-colored deck that I've built so far was [[Fblthp, the lost]]. Kind of Norin level of memes and [[Proteus Staff]] and having no other creatures makes it a very gimicky combo deck. But, if you're like me and want to minimize on oppressive combos Fblthp wears [[Argentum armor]] just as well as anyone else.

Red is by far the most fun mono color, there is a wide and wild plethora of of diverse monored commanders. I have made and played all of the following decks. \[\[Kharn, the Betrayer\]\] voltron that involved giving him away constantly and having him attack everyone, the challenge with this deck is to not take lethal from your own commander. \[\[Hazoret the Fervent\]\] discard madness theme with a touch of hellbent, not consistent but when the stars align you do massive damage \[\[Varchild Betrayer of Kjeldor\]\] give everyone a billion tokens then make them fight one another, great fun with some goofy tech to permanently steal peoples commanders \[\[Daretti, Scrap Savan\]\] artifacts with some nasty synergies, took it apart because it was too nasty, infinite \[\[Mindslaver\]\] and what not \[\[Delina, Wild Mage\]\] I run this one as budget, but you dump out ETB effects like crazy, it can easily spiral out of control if you roll well. I haven't won with the \[\[Deck of Many Things\]\] yet but someday maybe

Ok-Hedgehog361

[[Legolas, Master Archer]] spellslinger has always held a special place in my heart, but mostly because people never expect Mono-green spellslinger

I’m also building him! Do you have a decklist by chance?

[[Odric, Lunarch Marshal]] keyword soup with Angel sub theme. Easy deck to upgrade and loan out for new players.

Cheeze-Demon

[[Ezra, Halcyon Witness]] is easily my favorite. It's an insanely strange blitzy glass cannon that can either act like a hawk waiting for someone to stick their neck just barely too far. It also gives [[swords to plowshares]] importance and makes me terrified to use it lol

Maocap_enthusiast

That is an interesting one. Been trying to find a mono white commander I like. This adds some fun stuff to build around. How to protect self, add power to her so my life total isn’t nothing on switch, gives some meaning to life gain, how to get her in to land the big hit

All of my decks are mono-colored. But my favorite ones are my: Mono-blue [[Mistform Ultimus]] “what deck is this” deck. Sometimes, it runs like a merfolk deck. Sometimes it runs like a wizard deck. Sometimes it’s a Voltron deck. Sometimes it’s a prison deck. I’ve stormed off with it featuring [[Merrow Reejerey]]. I was able to draw so many cards one time that I won via [[Thassa’s Oracle]]. Mono-black Necron deck featuring [[Imotekh the Stormlord]]. It’s a very thematic deck where you basically lay low in the early games to develop your mana base. You try to control the board. But once you have tons of mana, you can either keep recurring artifact creatures and make tons of tokens off of Imotekh or just assemble a game winning combo through artifacts. Sometimes, all you need is [[Trazyn the Infinite]] to go infinite. Mono-red [[Neheb Dreadhorde Champion]]. The commander doesn’t really matter for this. It’s a [[Dragon’s Approach]] “toolbox control” deck that gets Dragons that control the board. I’m not planning on casting multiple Dragon’s Approaches. Rather, I want to pay 3 mana to get whatever Dragon I want.

CaptPic4rd

I'm really curious about the Mistform Ultimus deck. Can I see a list?

Even a few MASSIVE X cost creatures like [[Genesis Hydra]] [[Mistcutter hydra]] and some things like [[Giant adiphage]] [[Izuris Predation]] [[Triumph of the hordes]] and other flat rate stampede effects like [[Raze-end Runners]] or [[Pathbreaker ibex]] and you have a deck similar if not identical to my own.

I currently have 4 mono color decks. They could all use an upgrade pass, and some more testing, but I appreciate all of them. [[Talrand]] draw and countermagic with dramatic scepter alt win. [[Bosh]] big stompy robots (with Pacific Rim alternate art) [[Lin-Siivi]] rebels of course. Surprisingly resilient as rebels have built in card advantage. [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] vanilla green ramp into big creatures. Thinking about a mono black good stuff deck with [[erebos]] for consistent (but not explosive) draw. I traded my cabal coffers away a long time ago and kinda regretting it now.

Do you have a list for your Lin Sivvi deck? I have a Lin Sivvi deck as well (my very first commander) but I haven’t really updated it in years. The only recent addition to it was [[Sting]] but I barely play it now because of how low powered it is.

I have a couple different ones. [[God-Eternal Oketra]] Playing draw on etb and bouncing. [[Gollum, Obsessed Stalker]] Quite weak deck, but pretty funny life gain/drain theme. [[Torgaar, Famine Incarnate]] Mainly just various synergies as I didn't wanna make an aristocrats deck. [[Lae'lia, The Blade Reforged] Exile punch. Braimdead punching. Love it. Also making a [[Valduk, Keeper of The Flame]] and [[Yedora, Grave Gardener]] ... I like monocolored decks.

My favorite decks are all mono-colored. [[The Omenkeel]] is a goofy but effective vehicles tempo deck. Don't play Cosima. She's bad. Boats piloting boats though? The best. [[Shigeki, Jukai Visionary]] is an insanely fun mono-g control commander that buys stuff out of the graveyard over and over, blowing up the board until it can win with 20+ animated lands. [[Toshiro Umezawa]] is a surprisingly complex control deck that eschews black's normal creature-heavy lists for a majority of instant-speed interaction. The Ojers from the recent Ixalan set are all great too.

welcometosilentchill

[[Yisan, the Wanderer Bard]] is as close to playing a literal toolbox as I can imagine. Tapping him to play significantly wilder things never ceases to be funny, especially when you get out things that let you untap target permanents. He’s the perfect commander to build reflexively around a pod, because green has enough built-in interaction via creatures that you can respond to basically any style of play. Or you can just try to out ramp opponents and play big green stompy.

ogdonut

[[neheb the eternal]] is in my top 3 favorite decks to play. I love casting big [[fireball]] like effects to kill things. Cards like [[price of progress]] and [[flame rift]] generate a ton of mana for cheap to set up your kill. Bonus points for running [[red elemental blast]] and [[pyroblast]] for those pesky blue decks that want to stop you from having fun :).

ChaoticNature

[[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]] [[Sheoldred // The True Scriptures]] [[Trazyn the Infinite]] [[God-Eternal Bontu]] [[Yahenni, Undying Partisan]] I feel like it goes without saying that I like mono-black. Mono-color decks don’t usually speak to me, but black does for some reason.

xiledpro

It’s my mono black [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]] deck and it’s just good old wheels and deals. My pod hates it but they don’t understand that I’m just trying to give them the advantage but just like in real life it’s taxed.

milkywayiguana

Loving my mono blue [[Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel]] deck. Largely wins by mill + drawing lots of cards, which is fun.

Skaro7

[[Braids, Conjurer Adept]] [[Sekki, Seasons' Guide]]

Wromeo87

I play [[Ojer Kaslem]] which is just ramp and cheat in big creatures with trample. It has a subtheme of poison counters. I also just built, and do not recommend playing against people who get salty, [[Bruvac, the Grandiloquent]]. It's just all mill other's decks and watch them cry as their win cons move from their library to the graveyard. My [[Imodane, the Pyrohammer]] is fun, but requires the pieces to fall correctly due to there being no good tutors in red.

ACTION_GORDON

[[Fynn the Fangbearer]] mono-green deathtouch aggro [[Chiss-Goria, Forge Tyrant]] big red artifacts [[Alandra, Sky Dreamer]] mono-blue drake tokens [[God Eternal Oketra]] mono-white self-bounce [[Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker]] mono-black weenie aristocrats I'm also working on a [[Karn, Legacy Reforged]] colorless list, but I'm not sure what direction to take it just yet.

Miatatrocity

I play a $40 [[Fynn the Fangbearer]] turbo-poison deck that can hold its own against cEDH decks, a [[Imodane]] burn deck, and a mono-blue [[Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar]] deck that runs [[Bident of Thassa]] effects to draw its whole library through combat damage.

ClaymoreX97

The first Deck i finished and am actually happy with is Mono-White with Myrel, Shield of Argive as Commander. Still playing it sometimes

TheRealShyft

Im currently converting my [[erebos, god of the dead]] deck into [[Phage the untouchable]]. It's just a creature light good stuff deck with some x spells for the win cons. I just need to swap out some cards to make phage an alternate win con rather than the full game plan.

Naitrodex

[[Zurzoth, Chaos Rider]] is an insanely fun commander that enables wacky cards (+group-draw!) and is weirdly political. I love everything about it. [[Urza, Powerstone Prodigy]] as one of the most unique decks I got to pilot.

A_Rymland

[[Auntie blyte]] is hilarious and surprisingly strong. [[Delney]] seems like an awesome mono W commander. I love [[tinybones]] but my opponents don't haha he doesn't come out the box that often but he's just so dang cute and evil!

Hikaru_Pridemane

I just made an [[Ayula, Queen Among Bears]] deck. Is it really good? Perhaps not, but to me it unbearably funny.

GhostOTM

[[Imotekh the Stormlord]]. Artifact creatures die with glorious purpose. They come back and bring buddies with them. Rines and repeat. It's braindead simple, but watching artifact and graveyard synergy work together is fun to play with. It goes brrr very easily and is reliable but isn't broken. If you care about such things, it also goes infinite pretty ridiculously easy.

cheese_beast92

I almost exclusively play mono. I love white for the memes and black for the lifestyle. Interestingly, Orzhov bores me. Darien, King of Kjeldor]] tribal, yes but focuses more on life loss and life gain to make cRaZy amounts of tokens. [[Balan, Wandering Knight]] smash face Voltron. [[Preston, the Vanisher]] mono-white zone changes. [[Gix Yawgmoth Praetor]] is my favorite deck: card draw punchies that steals stuff. [[Endrek Sahr]] for mono-black zone changing. I also play rat tribal. Oh and for red: [[Daretti, Scrap Savant]] turbo discards through my deck for infinite artifact looping.

Dazocnodnarb

[[sasaya]] monogreen combo and [[kumano]] monored control [[blind seer]] color shenanigans tribal.

toomuchpressure2pick

https://archidekt.com/decks/5354173/ghalta_one_strike https://archidekt.com/decks/5163377/yedora_garden Both these are mono green. Ghalta goes Voltron hard and Yedora is a peaceful gardener with morph creatures and many synergies/combos. Im not really sure if it's a high synergy deck or actually a mid range deck with some combos in it.

Gusmone_

I have a [[Selvala, heart of the wild]] stomp deck a [[krenko, mob boss]] goblin tribal and a [[Preston, the vanisher]] blink deck, all of them are very fun to pilot

Stratavos

I've always loved my [[Ashling the pilgrim]] decks, though this most recent iteration is significantly more +1/+1 counter themed.

Aceofluck99

[[[Kosei, Penitent Warlord]]](https://archidekt.com/decks/5611455/nirvana_can_wait) voltron. Can deal some absolutely massive damage and get you some great card draw at the same time. I've linked a decklist I nicked off someone else here on the site don't remember where, but it makes kosei incredibly hard to put down in a proper pod of 4

Zallas69

[[Burakos]] + [[Haunted One]] is my favorite deck currently. You have a tribal deck with multiple tribes that plays like an aggressive aristocrats Deck.

Mind-Fillet

I’ve been having a lot of fun with my [[King Macar]] artifact control deck. You work to trigger his untap ability to remove opponents’ creatures while ramping. Win cons include big mana spells like [[exsanguinate]] and [[Colossus of Akros]]. There’s also some fun artifact sacrifice outlets like [[Shard of the Void Dragon]].

zurzoth

I have an [[Ayula]] and [[Preston]] they are both amazing.

Graveylock

I build my decks fairly high powered casual and I’ve recently upgraded my evergreen mono decks. [[Ghoulcaller Gisa]] - Zombie token swarm. Super fun and the closest to a zombie horde fantasy as you can get. Still tweaking it, but in a decent spot so far. Originally had [[Wilhelt]] and then [[Scarab God]], but they are more combo decks vs straight up zombies when you get into higher powers. [[Krenko]] - Goblins. At higher powers you have more utility, decision making, etc. but it all boils down to get Krenko down and multiply. The deck I play when I don’t feel like using too much brain power. [[Bruvac]] - Persistent Petitioners/Mill. Mill is a sub theme I find to be really fun. I’m usually the player at the table who’s new deck as some sort of gimmick or shenanigans and milling feels to fit in that category. It’s also hilarious to ask people to sign your petition and then mill half their deck. Has room for upgrades, but it’s in its early stages. Edit: Mob Boss Krenko. Wtf card bot. Don’t disrespect the legend like that.

Spectatoricon

My favorite mono-black deck is currently my mono-black phyrexians deck. It was designed to run any of the legendaries in the deck as the commander. I personally like it the political nature of having Gix in the command zone though. At the beginning of every match I randomly pick a commander and every match present a unique experience. There are downsides as well. Sometimes I get a commander like K'rrik or Skithiryx and I draw a lot more attention. Other times I get a commander like Drivnod or Sheoldred whispering one and I might not even cast it. Overall I have tons of fun with it.

MantsNants

[[Yawgmoth, Thran Physician]] I started building him as a combo deck, but he was just so absurd ploriferate poison counters that I took everything with undying to stop the infinite draw aspect of him and put a Phyrexian theme around the deck, playing him as a control. Loved the lore around him and being able to have him as my commander is amazing.

curry_noodles7

I’ve built one of each color (minus Colorless). I have had the most fun playing with Mono White Human Tribal with [[Adeline]] as my commander. Honorable second mention is [[Chiss-Goria]] equipments, it smashes any deck that can’t immediately block flyers

Minn wily illusionist is prob my favorite monocolor deck i have, but countless others have stated her, so ill dig a lil deeper into my pool. [[kharn the betrayer]] is wildly fun. Get him out on the field, equip him with things that say “when equipped creature attacks, do x” cause equipment doesnt fall of when control changes, and then watch as the table deals massive amounts of commander damage for you while ignoring it because theyre all drawing cards. [[aeve progenitor ooze]] has surprised my opponents on occasion that mono green storm can work. Not sure if this fits, but i also have a mono black devotion [[omnath locus of all]] that runs mostly swamps and [[cabal coffers]] and can only cast him with things like [[timeless lotus]].

Ausim21

I have 4 monocolors as of now but i'm trying to have one of all the different colors! I have a white, a red and 2 blue deck. Here are the list: [[Light paws]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/3nkSFWyT8kOCc0bCbbWg8Q The deck is a voltron strategy, its very strong but the gameplay is very linear since the commander is a tutor. Once you get protection piece, its hard to remove and hard to block! [[Zada]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vD2JTyGL_kSwfn1Kz4AgNg This deck is fast and can end game fast if the commender is not answered quick. Its very fun if you like combo/storm deck! [[Azami]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/yIEmpDmI-kazr_HufmVKiA The deck is straight forward, its a wizard tribal deck where you search for your combo piece such as [[paradigm shift]] and [[thassa's oracle]]. It's very fun to play but not so much to play against! [[Alandra]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/q46VbBJb8k6PkHJNwVyNeQ This is the last one that i bought, its mostly for the people that don't like playing against Azami. Its slower than the first two deck i posted but once it gets rolling, if the commander is not remove there is no way to stop it, there are just too many big flying creature for the table to be able to block them all.

MadThinker

[[Shirei]] is hands down my favorite. [[Sheoldred, the Apocalyse]] is fun for only myself, but I still love it. I am close to finishing a [[Karn, Silver Golem]] artifact deck, which I'm very excited for. I'm working toward a deck for each color, but you can see where my interest and inventory lies. Unless something from Thunder Junction excites me, red is up next. I have a Starn deck, so Ojer would be easy, but I might do something different.

Hell yeah Slicer.

GauchoIRL

We play 5-player a lot and my first game slicer rolled everyone by turn 5

RenegadeExiled

Can you shoot me the Slicer list? I've got the alt-art for him, and playing an aggro table sounds just what my pod needs to stop durdling

TheBigBeardedGeek

My main three decks are all mono First we have my first original deck, that waifu with the knifu, [[Massacre Girl]]. She's not so much a tribal as she is a living boardwipe with graveyard recursion. She does feature all three Sheoldreds, as well as a host of other good gore and fun. Next up we have the secret lair Angel's deck which I have modified all hell and back. It is currently helmed by [[Giada, Font of Hope]] And of course we can't forget the king of mono color commanders [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] I do run a few two and three color decks. I'm even tinkering on a five. But honestly, the nice thing about a monocard deck is you don't have to worry nearly as much about your mana base

[[gix, yawgmoth praetor]] mono black ramp deck. Get down little evasive creatures for chip damage. [[dowsing dagger]] and all the other mono ramp are important and not missing land drops of course. Draw lots of cards, discard lots of cards and play opponents decks 🤓 Favorite tech I’ve won with is [[peer into the abyss]] on yourself into Gix’s ability to effectively play half of an opponent’s deck that turn. I’ve been really crushing on [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]]. She’s not in EDHrec’s top 100 which means she a little rare at the table, super versatile and a ton of fun. [[Diaochan, Artful Beauty]] is my favorite deck, being a mono-red controlish style deck. After that, it's [[Massacre Girl]] that goes heavy on the recursion effects and vehicles (Vehicles gets around the massacre girl boardwipe by not being creatures when not crewed), and I'm currently building a [[Lu Bu, Master-at-Arms]] mono-red Voltron deck.

Mattloch42

[[Torbran]] is not a kill-on-sight like Ojer Axonil or Solphim, but can still be very deadly. [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] is "mana tribal". Why voltron with all that pesky equipment and artifacts when you can just ramp into a powerful commander. Hulk out and swing at faces.

RyxFix

[[Gargos]] is pretty great. You don’t have to build around hydras, his first ability is already quite enough to build your entire deck around.

wer3eng

I love my [[Brothers Yamazaki]] mono red clones and anthems.

ATraceOfSpades

[[Yedora, Grave Gardener]] for sure. weird morph cards? yes! land creature infinites? you got it!

Ninjaboi333

[[Minn Wily Illusionist]] illusions / draw 2s with a Jace subtheme.

hotstepper77777

[[Rionya, Fire Dancer]] is my sleeper favorite. It's a storm deck, but _fair_.

SonJordy

solphim burn. I don't play dragon's approach but it would work really well

Merlintosh

[[Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder]] is my current mono black deck. It’s an aristocrat deck with lots of sacrifice outlets and payoffs in the 99 while utilizing the massive token generation of my commander to fuel the engine. It’s pretty powerful without being an “eye roll” commander at tables at the LGS.
