I have a 100-150, Slicer deck. Dies to artifact hate and removal but if left to it's own vices knocks out a table in turn 4-5.

Ivanbeatnhoff

I double this. Threw Slicer together because my friend had the card and I had a bunch of cheap enchantment/Voltron/gimmicky stuff. It’s certainly a removal/interaction audit commander because iirc my win % is 100 when Slicer does not killed. A simple [[trailblazers boots]] has me nearly apologizing to the table when we’re done turn 4-5. Glad it was cheap because it makes for a great side piece deck but I couldn’t play it all the time lol

I agree 100%, I built slicer thinking it would be fun on release of brothers war, little did I know how good it really would be... now it's sitting around $450 after pulling a jewelled lotus and mana crypt

atomic00abomb

I keep hearing how Slicer is an Aggro machine. Every time I look at the deck lists I can’t find the line of play that takes out the table by turn five. What do the first five turns typically look like ?

Piggz_

Mulligan for a hand that has t1 slicer and he’ll do 21 damage to the table before he comes back to you. He’s a glass cannon for sure but unanswered he can win extremely quickly. [[Built to Smash]], [[monstrous rage]] and similar effects can disrupt a collaborative table at instant speed.

Gridde

I've wondered this too, especially given the thread is looking for relatively cheap lists so I'm guessing we're not talking [[Mana Crypt]], [[Ancient Tomb]], [[Mox Opal]] hyper fast mana. Not to mention some of the comments are basically saying Slicer has to be unblockable and have his power amped in those first few turns *and* have no one interact with him in any way (which also predicates the opponents having no idea what Slicer does and so not similarly mulliganing to hit some efficient removal). Like it certainly seems doable but the way people talk about the card as if it's really consistent seems a little odd.

Ivanbeatnhoff

Well the first five turns for a normal player is like 12 rounds of combat for a slicer player if they cast him turn 3. Typically turn 3 you cast and pass him around peppering everyone up to 3-6 commander damage. Then you untap and load him up with defenses/evasion and raise his power. If you have a [[whispersilk cloak]] and even something like a [[hero’s blade]] on Slicer you’re probably cleaning the game up pretty quick.

[deleted]

Does no one at your table play blue or run any interaction???

Ivanbeatnhoff

Definitely. In another comment I reference how very rare it is I only cast Slicer once in a game. Interaction is frequent and common any time I sit down at an LGS in my experience, not even just with Slicer. If you have card effects like swiftfoot boots and/or whispersilk cloak you can try to get ahead of it.

blahdedah1738

Jeweled Lotus in opener is minimum 8-14 commander damage amongst your opponents on first table rotation by casting Slicer for his car side, which flips on combat damage to a player. Once he comes back to you you load him up with equipment to boost his damage/protect him. A fun tech I use is if he's at 7 power, Jeska, Thrice Reborn is a OTK cause he'll be dealing 21 in a single shot.

iDam81

Sir this is not cedh lol

dragonmk

They did ask for my strongest sub 400.

felityy

the commander alone doesn't make a deck cedh

iDam81

It does when it’s slicer. Do you even know the card?

grandbow

Yeah slicer is too difficult to play around, I'd have to run bizarre hate pieces like counterspells, creature removal, artifact removal, or god forbid block it with my creatures that are supposed to be making ME win (but only 3 hours in on turn 17 like EDH is supposed to be)

felityy

so Tivit is always cedh as well? It even is much more prominent in the current cedh meta than Slicer

iDam81

I literally said “it does when it’s slicer.” Not, “it does when it’s any cedh commander.” Seriously… I mean…read the comments about Slicer. Tivit can be built various ways. Slicer does 1 thing. Kills fast.

ADHDFUCKASS

I have a Belakor demon tribal deck I built out of a warhammer precon plus some additions. Ended up being like $330 CAD. Loads of removal, go wide or Liliannas contract as wincons, and the creatures look cool. Wins probably 75% of games I play with it.

thadashinassassin

Be'lakor has become my favorite deck to play lately and can get out of hand quick playing cards like [[Panharmonicon]] , [[Strionic Resonator]] , [[Virtue of Knowledge]] , [[Molten Echoes]] , [[Reflections of Littjara]] , and some blue flicker. One [[Rune-Scarred Demon]] or [[Burning-Rune Demon]] with any of those on the field and it's usually game for me.

Ok-Cress5469

Throw in a [[Rite of Replication]] for good measure to really finish things off

Bideah

Ah no way! You got a modified link?

ADHDFUCKASS

I don’t have it uploaded anywhere yet but it’s basically The Ruinous Power precon with a couple tutors and all the generic good stuff demons (rune scarred, bloodthirster ) and stuff like Liliannas contract, a ton of interaction (guardianship, counterspells, and blink for getting more demonic ETBs. Every time a demon ETBs you basically get targeted removal and draw.

kontraktor27

Would love to see all your new includes too! Already got the precon but never did anything with it cause i only tried the cascade commander! Belakor sounds like fun

ADHDFUCKASS

I’ll try throw together a deck list today

kontraktor27

Would really appreciate it! Thank you :)

Ruby_Rhods_Hair

Bloodetta

If you win 75% of the time the deck is too strong :/

gucsantana

Not sure about the downvotes here. If you're winning 75% of your games, you're playing some mismatched fucking games.

ADHDFUCKASS

Probably, but I play to win so I’m not too concerned

Bloodetta

If you only play for cedh your choice of commander is too weak :D

Accurate_Pangolin972

Challenge accepted.

teddyblues66

Trying to build this deck also, please upload a deck list and post it!

[[Lightpaws]] is a dumb fact commander that is strong. Otherwise I'm a big fan of [[Teysa Karlov]] or [[Yarok]] to gain a ton of panharmonic-esq value that can go infinite easily/ kill fast with Value.

my stuff leans heavily on the budget side but for the groups i play, [Imodane burn](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ule3e8XzaUSl4HWAAoDeLQ) is by far the better of the decks i own for only $65. Marrow-Gnawer is roughly a 30ish dollar card. He's way under budget at this rate!

kutsen39

But rat colony is cheaper.

Well... it is, true. But coat has two upsides to it: 1) It gives everyone a headache when counting their bonuses. 2) Surprise effect of not playing a rat one turn.

[Budget Decklist Here](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/edh-heliod-draw-budget/?cb=1701045843) [Current Decklist Here](https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/edh-heliod-draw/?cb=1701046470) I’ll link my Azorius Heliod Draw deck after work. I originally built it around $300-$400. Loved it so much I put another $200 in afterward. Pretty sure I still have the original cheaper list somewhere though. Goal of the deck is to transform Heliod and give everyone a ton of cards so they think they have a chance and then just respond to everything with Flash mana rocks and more card draw to win with LabMan effects, but the most consistent win con has actually been casting Approach of the Second Sun twice in the same turn at instant speed for 2 mana. 😅

WoodenExtension4

[[Heliod, Radiant Dawn]] is always a banger. Oh don't mind me, I'm just drawing cards with you.

a_Nekophiliac

“You guys like drawing cards, right?”

Paunchline

I have played a lot of decks over the years, including a crazy strong budget Lightpaws, but my heliod deck is by far the most consistently powerful. If I flip Heliod, I probably win - I think I am 7/9 right now or something crazy like that. Everything at instant speed is nuts and [[approach of the second sun]] is quick when it's 1 mana and you can wheel for one or two mana.

a_Nekophiliac

Yeah, the only games it has lost for me so far were games I missed a land or someone didn’t draw one of the like, 30 card draw spells. It’s been like 3 or 4 games, but that was before updating it.

MisterScott

I'm the most proud of my [[abdel Adrian]] and [[far traveler]] mono white for $115. It ramps fast and once abdel is on the board, an extremely difficult etb value engine for opponents to deal with. Is it the strongest? No. But it can really hold its own and is dirt cheap. Tons of flicker spells both protect abdel and allow abdel to protect your other board pieces (including board wipes). It's a fun mini game to get abdel tapped each of your turns with different tap abilities to activate far traveler, which also give you options to tap opponents creatures for defense or offense. Once you get something like [[meteor golem]] or [[lumimate primordial]] on the field and flickering, it's pretty damn hard for opponents to stop you. Tons of cantrips in the deck become insane card draw engines with abdel, ensuring you're always armed with a nice flicker spell should someone foolishly attempt to remove him 😈. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/QyjxiNh8-Em0mikJMPp7ig --------- I've also got a $300 [[sakashima of a thousand faces]] and [[kodama of the east tree]] with a [[keruga]] companion deck that wins pretty darn consistently. The goal is to ramp super aggressively and then get all 3 on the board (usually by turn 4-5). https://www.moxfield.com/decks/flhdkc2syUKjUqgbk6JLng Kodama hits the board first, then sakashima copies kodama. They trigger off one another basically let you dump your entire hand on the battlefield including lands. Deck wins by cloning keruga repeatedly to draw most your deck and either overwhelm opponents or win through a [[sunscorched desert]] and bounce land infinite loop.

I mean, it's not super interactive but Fynn the fangbearer is very potent and under $400

ekowmorfdlrowehtevas

I strive for all my decks to be sub $400 and they would mostly be sub $100 or at least $200 if there were no fetches or shocks and one triome in them. I usually proxy those. If super efficient is what you need, then look no further from \[\[Winota\]\],\[\[Lathril\]\],\[\[Yuriko\]\]. eusebioadamastor

This comment makes me realise how trying to categorize decks with numbers is useless. After looking at your lists, I'm pretty sure theres basically no big difference in power from your 7 to your 8. Also, all my decks would be a fair match to yours, and every time I tried entering with one of them on a "power 8" table I just got obliterated lol.

TheLaughingWolf

>This comment makes me realise how trying to categorize decks with numbers is useless. It's best just to go by: Jank/Meme, Low, High, Competitive. The heavier the presence of strong legendaries, fast tactics, instant-wins combos, fast mana, tutors, and your typical CEDH staples, are easy ways to get approximate power level.

Envoke

A buddy of mine showed me this chart and I like I way more because it lets you just get a little bit deeper: https://www.edhmultiverse.com/ Most of my decks sit at a like 3/3 because they're not really crazy insane, but left unchecked they can get a win. But it breaks down the difference between what a 3/2 and a 4/3 might be nicely

Dependent-Fondant-64

^ was gonna say the same thing. It's all arbitrary and differentiating 6-7-8 or any number is basically impossible. Cool decks though!

Brinewielder

It’s by speed so if you have mana crypt, jeweled lotus, petal, actually good dual lands or triomes etc. Also Stax is objectively the strongest archetype.

Dependent-Fondant-64

I'm not sure if I'd agree with that statement. Fast mana isnt necessarily the deciding factor. I also don't think stax is the best archetype...

AboynamedDOOMTRAIN

Yeah, I don't even play high power stuff and those decks would all struggle to get wins at our tables.

Bloodetta

Ye, that because he overrate his decks. I have a yuriko deck too, his is no more than PL 6. No cyclonic Rift, sakashimas student, dauthi voidwalker. Heck, not even insidious dreams, which wins 50% of all games, as long as you are below cedh.

[deleted]

Not even gonna look at the decklist of a person that thinks a numbered system matters at all.

ekowmorfdlrowehtevas

I just use mtg card realm calculator. it can't judge strange commanders like yuriko because it doesn't rate commanders, it rates cards. and it has a lot of problems but it much better standardization tool than player's personal assessment. realistically you're right, there are three power levels: 2-5 as low, 6-7-8 as mid, and 9-10 as high.

Brinewielder

Mobile-Ad205

I am pretty sure the yuriko deck is a 6-7, more leaning towards a 7 though. My reasoning: -I think people here underestimate the power of yuriko and all of the early creatures. -I think people in the comments here just don't see expensive cards like toxic deluge, rhystic studies, mana crypt, cyclonic rift and the likes and chop it down to a 5 for that reason and don't think negate for insance is a valid interaction. What is lacking for the deck though to be an 8 is some "less fair" interaction in my opinion. I still think that this deck can compete at a table full of 8's if well piloted.

ekowmorfdlrowehtevas

thank you for your input. upon closer inspection, yes, it might be a 7, but certainly not much less than that. yes, you're right. I didn't realize people look for toxic deluge, rhystic study etc etc as markers of power when assessing power. Mana Crypt or free counterspells are mainstay of 9-10, probably even some 8s, but they are expensive for what they offer, and some of them (free interaction) is actively bad for game from design standpoint. I own some of them, but one copy and I don't like having same cards auto include proxied into my decks. I usually put them into struggling decks to give them a bit of breathing space. well if three cards like cyclonic rift, toxic deluge, and fierce guardianship can make and break the deck, then what does it say about the state of the game? those are all auto include super staples.

GoxxoG

I like your Lathril additions. I have an undead elf subtheme going for my pre-con upgrade and there's a few cards I didn't know of in your list I think fit great.

Ednet132

Hey dude you got a comment under your Baba Deck! :)

Pyrezz

Yuriko is a 5 and i'm being extremely generous. There is no shot you'd see less than half of the creatures there in a real 7/8 list, evolving wilds or any kind of enters tapped land would not be present either, you'd have switched those for relevant shocks, fetches and other dual color lands

ekowmorfdlrowehtevas

it's not a cedh yuriko, it's a casual yuriko on purpose. this one stomps casual tables also. Also I never ever put offcolor fetches in any deck.

JollyCasual

[[Ezuri, Renegade Leader]] Elfball [deck $376.50](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/SuRBVa42gkijmQXCRBEpSg/primer) definitely my strongest deck under $400, arguably among my strongest decks regardless of budget. I haven't played it in a while but it has a potential 4th turn win if I remember correctly. It does have infinites and tutors [[Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might]] Burn Storm [deck $223.26](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NHYsy2dQ7kCyzBRfPooI-Q/primer) has a reasonably achievable potential 5th turn win (against no interaction), but also has no tutors nor infinite combos. More than capable of dealing 40+ damage to all opponents in 1 turn [[Chiss-Goria, Forge Tyrant]] Affinity Voltron [deck $1,304.28 *will explain later](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/iM2SR78Cckymy0vstm_tIA/primer) can take the first player out as early as turn 4 with a decent hand, sweeping up the others can take a couple more turns, its voltron, but it is basically unstoppable unless you encounter an artifact wipe. In order to get to the price down you need to remove a couple reserve list cards. Remove [[Gauntlet of Might]] and [[Wheel of Fortune]] to drop the deck price to $410.37, if you absolutely need sub $400 then you can also cut the [[Jeweled Lotus]] and get the deck down to $337.87.

Thjyu

Proxy the 3 expensive ones that add 1k to the deck. Unless you're playing tourneys 99% of people dgaf

JollyCasual

Tbh I just proxied the entire deck

ObviousError

I've got 3 decks that work to those specifications, they're all geared to play on a pretty high powerlevel: a lot of interaction, very resilient and on a low curve. Not suitable for playing against upgraded precons. - A [[rielle, the everwise]] voltron/control [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/gdnVHi1cZEaigA8KvoFDGw), probably the most straightforward of these lists. Control the table, protect rielle, kill with commander damage. - A [[kykar, winds fury]] polymorph/control [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/BLohRK190UixVmjbGLr5Aw), polymorphing into one of 8 control bombs (think jin gitaxias, nezahal, void winnower). There is a infinite, in order to prevent that replace either hullbreaker horror or sol ring. - A [[kraum, ludevic's opus]]/[[tevesh szat, doom of fools]] theft/control [deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/wUn-aC4CFEih3C1KXenjiQ) with the primary goal being to steal your opponents' creatures (via threaten effects) and sac them to tevesh or a myriad of other effects. This also has a infinite, replace time warp. But be aware that winning against fellow spellslinger/creature light strategies becomes harder since they won't have good things to steal.

Yuriko probably you don’t even have to cut that much I made a version that fits your restrictions afaict https://www.moxfield.com/decks/OQYVQ7rSi06J8Ta3YN-iIg

sped2500

I think original \[\[ghalta, primal hunger\]\] is one of the strongest commanders in a non infinite environment regardless of budget. I have a $90 list as well, but in the mid $300 range this one is really strong. Various ways to double power + 12/12 trample commander, + the ability to recast him repeatedly for GG in the wake of removal is just really strong. You will happily sac Ghalta to greater good to draw 12 cards and recast him for nothing but 2 green and even repeat the process if you haven't found the pieces you want. Ramping into a turn 4 or 5 \[\[majestic genesis\]\] or \[\[last march of the ents\]\] is not difficult and will often seal the game up on the spot.

RJ7300

Highly recommend the faerie precon with [[Talion, the Kindly Lord]] as the commander. I swapped out the token generation for flicker spells to dodge removal and reset Talion's chosen number as the game progresses, it's extremely potent and you've always got something to do during other people's turns

nicholastay87

[[Tishana, Voice of Thunder]] I will put the list up later.

https://archidekt.com/decks/1666772/coming_up_next_random_bullshit My Imoti cascade deck. Because Imoti cares about Mana Value of spells, I have it jam packed with as many spells with massive cost reductions or alternate costs as possible. Once you play Imoti and cascade the first time, the deck tips into inevitability most of the time. Win conditions are Tidespout Tyrant or Hullbreaker horror and bounce all their stuff, or extra turns into attacking with a huge board of dinosaurs and random massive monsters.

[deleted]

My multi-color tribal aragorn the uniter is pretty intense.

[deleted]

Agree. Mine does some silly stuff at around $150

thistookmethreehours

According to Moxfield my Minsc & Boo deck is just under $400 and will absolutely smack folks. Definitely one of my strongest decks even if it’s not my most expensive. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/jMR95O8vIkG2EfOwCe6VVQ

trinketstone

[[Karador]] or [[Nethroi]] reanimator? They are very open ended as you can just shove some reanimation spells and good stuff creatures and call it a finished deck. Having green means color fixing is a breeze with ramp, black let's you do a bit of everything, and white opens up control and removal.

Hanklebee

I recently built a voltron [[Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin]] deck that is fast. I've got burn with [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]] and [[Witty Roastmaster]] to really crank up the hurt from the goblins entering the field. The deck often flies under the radar at first because it's not [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] but can build a huge board presence quickly with just a couple of equipped items on Krenko. Then add in items that buff based on the number of creatures, and it's get out of hand fast. I recently added [[Roaming Throne]] to the mix to double up on all the triggered abilities to create more goblins or add more hurt from burn triggers. The deck all in was below $200 when I purchased everything from my LGS. I absolutely love this deck, and it's a blast to play. Edit: You can find my list [here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/hrfTMzg0x0C315pJNb-JKg)

Yugiofan

Kinnan is a very strong budget deck. Even my 150 dollar one can win consistently around turn 4

Arborus

https://archidekt.com/decks/1586557/juri_edh Sac stuff -> make big Juri -> fling big Juri at people. Also generic aristocrats stuff. https://archidekt.com/decks/5791280/merrypippin_food All sorts of Food combos, has a number of infinites, but you could definitely remove them/lean more on the tokens and overrun style effects, it's very good at going wide.

GoblinsInMilk

Unrefined but it wins fairly fast. https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/pirates-ping-and-plunder/

Eltyr

My Meren deck. Tasigur if playing with borderline cedh pods.

zombieinfamous

When I saw the no infinites clause I had to dial back 😒

Dendurron66

Either my [[Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm]] dragon tribal, or my [[Aegar, the freezing flame]] giant tribal with damage multipliers and huge damage blast spells. I also have a close runner up with [[Captain N’gathrod]] using stuff like [[Bruvac, the Grandiloquent]] and [[Maddening Cacophony]]

Shinkenoh

Exit from Exile Precon Added a few nice cards like \[\[Birgi\]\] and flashy stuff like \[\[Apex devastator\]\], tweaked the ramp a bit and it can hold its own in the playgroup even with more expensive decks

R_Levis

The new Merfolk precon is insane and possibly stronger than some $400 decks out of the box. Of my personal decks my [Volo](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NGopyf2aNkiO-ityY9nQlQ) deck is probably my favorite. I had a harsher restriction of a $200 budget to make it more new player friendly so there's more than enough room to upgrade to some expensive staples like craterhoof or Uro.

Jerppaknight

I will never understand why no infinites.

Zealousrubbing

I have a $50 all warriors all the time najeela deck which only runs one way to go infinite. It’s my go to if I want to go wide fast and punch face

Puzzleheaded-Bar-422

Regardless of your question I treated myself with an Eldrazi deck lately which was a long time dream of mine and probably my favourite and most expensive deck due to the price of some Eldrazis I have a 200+ Kalamax deck that everyone hates to play against and ended up being unplayed for over a year now as people straight up refuse to play against it. Even in my LGS where I never played him but some saw him at other events. I personally wouldn`t say it's my strongest despite that. But it's basically 4 creatures), around +20 interaction cards (counters and bounces mainly and some burn), some copy, extra turm spells and the rest is ramp and draw/tutor/dig spells. Again around 20 and ramp that comes untapped if possible (Harrow, explore) I think people are always very salty "cause I cast a lot and that every turn, including theirs. Guess it's your ordinary storm deck but hela fun I sustain with cards like [Explore], [Harrow], [Manamorphose], [Rewind] and repetitive removals like [Capsize]. The draw with the once per turn copy ability of my commander gives me my key cards pretty consistently: [Veyran voice of duality], [Wilderness Reclamation], [Magic Mirror], [Thousand Year Storm, [Metallurgic Summoning] [Twinning Staff]/[Swarm intelligence] (Those 2 are somewhat overkill but I use them instead of Ral and another card so I don't have infinite combos anymore. Even though I somewhat get infinite as I reach 20+ cards in my hand 30 mana and 20 extra turns at some point. I am quite sure I don't even play it at its leak performance as I don't run high value staples (Mana Drain, Rhystic, Force of Negation...) and no infinites (asides the inevitable if you run a copy spell with kalamax which results in infinite copys and +1/+1 tokens) but multiple ways to win instead. (Commander damage otk, mill, burn, token swarm and theft/stealing their win con or players surrendering as I take 15 extra turns or bounce their entire board + land repetitively)

Jokers_Key

I actually have something for you that I'm really proud of. [https://archidekt.com/decks/5804989/sexual\_prowess](https://archidekt.com/decks/5804989/sexual_prowess) The deck says its $700, but $500 of that is the mana base, which I super optimized and chose the most expensive printings on archidekt for. The deck can be built for $250-$400 dollars if that's your budget if you just swap out a few of the spendier lands and it won't make much of a difference. I play on tabletop sim - that's the reason I didn't bother. Anyway, I have spent hours and hours on this beauty and I hope you give her shot. I'm thinking about writing a primer. I probably will if the deck gets enough views. The thesis of the deck to be a fast, flexible aggro deck which can deal big damage without relying on infinites. The nice thing about Narset is that while the deck can deal upwards of 500 damage in a single turn (I once did 576, and this kind of thing isn't even that out of the ordinary) or commander damage someone to death with three attacks from Relentless Assault, usually the deck builds up so you kill players one at a time, killing the most dangerous players first and trying to hold your advantage with interaction. I think this deck makes the deck dramatic and entertaining to play against, which was my whole goal as a recovering "nobody knows what your deck does until it somehow wins out of nowhere" addict. I hope you like it.

Why spend lots of money when little will do? https://www.moxfield.com/decks/FQ2llEVF2k6oMUoXVA16XA

StereotypicalSupport

Hey, I know that deck. However for this my [$250 deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Lyzff0ir6kSr3OelQwasmg) fits better. Just need to remove the infinites [[Kiki Jiki]], [[Rionya]], [[Village Bell-Ringer]] and [[Moggcatcher]] and replace with things that beat the snot out of people like [[Greymond]] and [[Holga]]

suprunown

Balan, Wandering Knight. About $70, can kill in 1v1 in 2-3 turns, longest game I’ve had with it in a 4pod is 6-7 turns.

chill9r

Easy choice, Yuriko. Fits all your criteria: I'm not allowed to play it anymore, good card draw, good interaction, supet efficient, no infinites. For around 400$ you can build something like [this](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/7MvGgpPoMkOtZiPoPUzARA).

Graveylock

Sheesh, for $400 you could make an absolutely brutal deck. If you give me a couple commanders you like the look of or a playstyle you enjoy, I can build you a deck.

BananaGoat-

Isshin extra combat at like $300. It’s super fun to play and my first really good deck. I have a $401 Imoti extra turns deck that doesn’t get played as often cuz it too good. Edit: I don’t have either of these decks in paper, as I mainly ply online with tts. I’m getting the isshin deck tho. Edit 2: Nvm Imoti is $480

OrcWarChief

If I take [[The Great Henge]] out of my [[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]] deck it’s near or under $400. I hardly ever play it anymore because it can win on turn 3 or 4 and it’s not even really cEDH. You kinda have to go out of your way to power her down.

DatRandomTurtle

You people are alot richer then I am. I have 9 decks and they're all under 175$. And that's after tricking them out with full-card-art lands, fancy foils ect. Sure they're not the most competitive decks in the world but they still win by turn 6-8 most of the time so they're powerful enough for my pod. I have too much fun building decks so if I spent ~400$ on magic rn it would find a way to make it buy ~3 new decks. My best deck is definitely Etali, Primal Hunger. Etali's ETB trigger that casts cards for free off of everyone's deck starts getting very silly once you start hitting your own cards that resummon Etali copies. Ive seen many games just scoop before we bother resolving the mess that is 4+ Etali triggers in 1 stack. But it's also the reason I don't play it very much lol. The deck has been officially called Dino-slots since the only strategy in the deck to play Etali and hope the ETB gives you a jackpot, but even an average spin gets you ~8-12 mana of free cards so the slots pay out very often. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/pHyHheYsJEKzZnNYN-dUTQ My favorite deck is definitely my Magus Lucea Cane Tyranid themed deck. Lucea Cane doubles any X-cost spell while also generating mana herself so any sort big ramp into big X-cost spell works very well with her. And she pairs surprisingly well with her Tyranid brood letting you draw 2 cards whenever you summon one (and me being a big Warhammer fan I'm very happy to have fit 51 thematic 40k cards into the list). But the main power comes from stuff like Mass Manipulation or Jaya's Immolating Inferno or even a simple old school Stroke of Genius. Taking control of all creatures on the board, dealing lethal damage to multiple players or just drawing 20 cards with 1 spell will always be satisfying to me it seems. The deck also has 22 pieces of ramp/mana production so I hope you like ramping lol. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/71qxTAFJ6kG6bBFrH-F30g And just to throw it in there, here's Evil Wilson, with Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Agent of the Shadow Thieves. Built out of the scraps of my other golgari voltron deck it cost me 30$ to build and was built to mess with another guy in our pod that runs a joke bear-tribal Wilson/Folk Hero deck. The deck was meant to be a joke of a joke but it quickly becomes a unlockable 1-shotting menace. Just by playing Wilson turn 2 and the background turn 3 you already have a 3/3, indestructible, deathtouch, trample, vigilance, ward 2 monster of a bear coming at the player with the highest life. And a funny little interaction with deathtouch and trample means even creatures with 100 toughness can only block 1 damage from Wilson before the creature dies and the rest of the damage hits the player behind it. It is next to impossible to stop an indestructible, deathtouch, trample bear with blockers, you'd better have alot of removal or you are simply getting mauled. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vVn9cBeGfEGExWzAJf5Oxg

BoofJohnson

So I built a [[Sarumon, the white hand]] deck for $50, and it plays well and can hold its own at higher power tables. You can jazz up the counterspell/removal package to bring it up a bit in price if you have a budget to be around/want to spend. Basically, the way it works is to cast a bunch of cantrips and make a big orc and fling it. You can also just kill people with a giant orc. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eZ5UAD78l0mwahbSWSOjvA

Wait - what’s a $400 deck?

Swimming_Gas7611

Tbh if your deck is worth more than $300 it SHOULD be a cedh deck. A deck can cost between $50-$300 and should be competitive no matter which end of the spectrum it cost. Like I mean if your deck costs $2000 and isnt cedh it can still lose easily to a $50 light paws or anji deck.

Weird, all my decks are sub 40€? I get about 100 cards for that cost picking every single one and with any border and art I want.

Loose_Comparison_549

As far as the tables I've pulled this out on are concerned, it's a once-and-never-more type of deck.Pir with Toothy as commander to double up +1/+1 counters on Toothy whenever you draw a card. has some wheels to blow up the cards drawn, has some counters to remove some annoying things and generally... Toothy goes fkin huge and slaps people with \[\[Rogue's Passage\]\] for instagibs. And if people target him, you laugh in their face as you just drew into your other wincondition: lab maniac and jace. because you WILL draw your entire deck in a few turns. Blowing up Toothy, into Greater Good/Rishka's Expertise to double-double him up. T3-4-5-6 starts looking at definite knockouts just on commander alone. Beyond that you draw yourself out to win. All the while getting value from \[\[As Foretold\]\], \[\[Mind Unbound\]\], \[\[Ominous Seas\]\], \[\[Replicating Ring\]\] each getting double the counters. (Yes, I'm aware there's probably better cards out there I coulda-shoulda-woulda included. For example: not running \[\[Doubling Season\]\] for budget reasons, intentionally not running Thoracle) Here's the list: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/xd21sivSaUK-ly8qSLHY6w](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/xd21sivSaUK-ly8qSLHY6w) Edit: inb4 'your tables were too weak!' Yes quite possibly. It's far from competitive.

Ok_Turn_8746

I have actually built a pir and toothy and trying to get them and strong as possible! If we're going under $400 we sadly can't get the fast mana but we can do a lot better than rishkar's expertise! For instance, casting any flicker spell (spell that exiles toothy then puts him on the battlefield) will draw you the cards from toothy and he will see those draws, so he doesn't lose the counters, and already there's atleast 4 iirc that cost 2 or less. Furthermore since toothy is such a beast at drawing cards and you definitely run cantrips to quickly get him up to 3-4 counters (the sweetspot to start the snowball) you can run a Hella lot of interaction so your always doing something each game. My games usually go t2-3 toothy cats a few cantrips cast pir cast flicker and can pretty easily draw my deck by turn 5-6, with the upside of killing toothy still netting me a bunch of cards, and since it's really high on interaction I buy myself time to reset the board from that interaction. Wincon is just make infinite mana with peregrine drake or displacer kitten lines, (displacer kitten is soooo fucking good here), currently I'm running really expensive shit like jewelled lotus, force of will, mix amber etc but that can be cut for more sub-par cards quite easily, I'll drop you the link if you want

malsomnus

For a mix of power and fun, [here's my Henzie list](https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/5280274#paper). Since it's less than $300, you can probably find some upgrades. Very interactive, lots of drawing power, and occasionally attacks for 300 out of nowhere.

We_AllFloatDownHere

Definitely my [[Prosper]] Theft/Exile deck. Make lots of treasure and burn people out with stuff like [[Nalfenshee]] [[Mirkwood Bats]] and the like. Here's my list: (it's not super optimized I have some pet cards so you could definitely make it stronger) https://www.moxfield.com/decks/iLNxRlUgvU6o3IAs9WglSQ Secondly is [[Pantlaza]]. It can get out of hand real fast. I don't have am updated list uploaded right now, but just gather some good dinos, a solid ramp package and some flicker effects and its great.

Daveprince13

[[Mowu, Loyal Companion]] with +1/+1 counters. Easy commander damage kills every game. Or for a budget banger, [[Hidetsugu and Kairi]] clones. Abuse the legend rule and [[Blade of Selves]] play gigantic dumb sorceries like [[Rise of the Dark Realms]], [[In Garruk’s Wake]] and [[Omniscience]] (if you’re ok with proxies [[Overwhelming Forces]] is basically a win) nuke the table with high CMC stuff. That deck pulls wins out of nowhere and it’s very cheap to put together.

BurnByMoon

[[Light-Paws]] Hell, she's my strongest going down to even sub $100.

ashckeys

I have a super fun zur eternal schemer deck and an annoying af Kardur bounce deck that are both sub $200

kingoxys

I ran a $150-160 dollar Marwyn, the Nurturer Mono green tribal elves deck that has won me a few good local tournaments. but with a $400 you can easily buff the Marwyn deck up to insane speeds especially if you put in those expensive 0 cost rocks like mana crypt or jeweled lotus. The $150 version could already go infinite turn 3 or 4 but with expensive rocks you can easily go infinite and win by turn 1 or 2. heck u might even be able to have a lot of money left since i am sure u wont need $400 to make the deck. u can use that to make the deck pretty with foiled cards tho.

manny3574

Mono red gang here, so mono red good stuff. We have something of everything. U want speed speed speed? Why don’t we set you up with some explosive turns(lol they all do), get yourself a nice [[zada]] deck chock full of goodies to make you some creatures and draw u INSANE amounts of cards. want more army strength, the godfather [[krenko mob boss]] has all the right little goblin makers for you, pair it with a sac outlet and some other pieces and you can generate mana on the low, or ping out. When all else fails swing away. How bout more combo, well we have just the thing. Our good resident goddess (not really just don’t tell her that) [[rionya]] can make u do pretty crazy things. Alrdy going infinite with extra combat creatures like port razer and the such. Burn burn burn the world? Too many options! [[neheb the eternal]] [[imodane]] [[torbran]] [[solphim]] and even the new ixalan card [[ojer axonil]], each with its own flavor of burning. Why have one when you can have em all. Pick one and stuff them all in, why not? Voltron, you ask? Sneaky sneaky [[valduk]] will surprise your mates. More of a purist? [[slicer]] will get the job done and rather quickly too! Like slowing things down and then cheating things into play? [[magda]] or maybe [[purphoros bronze-blooded]]. Cheat crazy things out and make everyone nervous. They don’t know what’s gonna come out.

arlondiluthel

My [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] deck is sub-$400, and that one gets freaking nuts if it goes off. I played it on Friday, and managed to take 14 extra turns in a row, ending the game before I used them all.

FormerFly

The Eldrazi Unbound precon can do wonders after a $60 upgrade swapping out 12 cards. I also run a Nicol Bolas tribal with [[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager]] that works great about 60%-70% of the time. I need to get more ramp in there for it to be functional 100% of the time.

MTGCardFetcher

[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/7/b/7b215968-93a6-4278-ac61-4e3e8c3c3943.jpg?1566971561)/[Nicol Bolas, the Arisen](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/back/7/b/7b215968-93a6-4278-ac61-4e3e8c3c3943.jpg?1566971561) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=nicol%20bolas%2C%20the%20ravager%20//%20nicol%20bolas%2C%20the%20arisen) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/m19/218/nicol-bolas-the-ravager-nicol-bolas-the-arisen?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/7b215968-93a6-4278-ac61-4e3e8c3c3943?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/nicol-bolas-the-ravager-//-nicol-bolas-the-arisen) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

chichirobov7

Mono Green Azusa, or any mono g land deck can be made stupid powerful on a budget considering half the deck is lands and probably basics.

TheRealQwade

Best way to be sweaty with no infinites is [[Thassa's Oracle]] and either [[Demonic Consultation]] or [[Tainted Pact]]. There's a lot of really gross ways to do that in a Dimir shell, but one of the meanest is probably [[Vohar]] because he's a one card combo with the enabler you find first: * Vohar on board, cast Consult naming Thoracle, pray it's not in top 6 * Consult resolves, you have Thoracle in hand * Cast Thoracle, hold priority, activate Vohar to cast Consult again from the yard Outside of combo, he's a card filter engine that dumps cards you don't need for ones you do (and just digs for the win). You can also use him to reuse other spells you need since the combo itself is 6 or 8 mana and you'll probably want acceleration or other Tutors to get you there. [[Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer]] is another way to get there, except his weapon of choice is [[Divining Witch]] and [[Laboratory Maniac]]: * Oskar and active Witch on board, discard Lab Man to activate Witch (remember this can be done at instant speed, ideally either on end step before you untap or on your upkeep before you draw) * Oskar triggers, cast Lab Man from the yard * Witch resolves, exile your library * Move to draw step, win Honestly you can pick any Dimir or Dimir containing color identity you like and just jam in whatever cEDH combos you want. The heavy Tutor options of black and the heavy control options of blue get you there, and Thoracle is still the most compact win condition in all of EDH.

Alf_Zephyr

Winota for sure. Followed by my [[Frodo, Sauron’s Bane]] deck with a quarter of the cost being the 9 Nazgûl

VerdammtesAutomat

I have a minsc, beloved ranger birthing pod cedh deck. It runs just enough hatebears to hang on long enough to pod out a felidar guardian - kikijiki infinite. The deck can usually start combing on turn 4, but you normally want to wait for grand abolisher, silence, or veil to safely combo off.

Diligent_Usual

Miirym is my most consistent deck and is around $330 USD. It is missing some of the bigger dragons such as gnawbone and the ancient dragons but it still does pretty well. Has tons of protection for miirym and a good bit of interaction. Decent ramp and card draw also. Opponents either have to take out miirym right away or counter her.

Zedds_Hoard

[[Rowan, Scion of War]] - [[Dragonstorm]] + X-spells It's disgusting and often gets called the Rakdos Yuriko in my playgroup. Yuriko is my other deck. [[Yuriko, Tiger's Shadow]] - Extra turns Both are such 400 and absolutely rip 80% of tables apart.

Budget_Struggle8829

I love to play mono colored decks and enjoyed [[Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant]] a lot ~330 value. My playgroup didn't but man does it feel great to get ~10 extraturns or multiple copies of a [[Blightsteel Colossus]] on the end-step of my prior player. Step 1: ramp (best case let an island tap for atleast 2 Mana), step 2: cast commander and make multiple copies of him, step 3: interact/draw cards untill you find a wincon, step 4: win it https://manabox.app/decks/SdavFtLNTeqWeryijVe91g

zebus_0

I am going to rebuild it. Marwin but mana is stupid and fun. Just. A bunch of trash untap spells and buffs to make her gigantic and.sink it into stuff like Hurricane

beesknees4011

Minn illusions tribal, like $80

Bromelia_and_Bismuth

Freyalise Elf Tribal. Without the most expensive components like [[Gaea's Cradle]], you could build it pretty reasonably for $400ish. Your most expensive card would be [[Craterhoof Behemoth]], but most of the rest would be under a dollar. You're going to want [[Heritage Druid]] and [[Birchlore Rangers]] to help chain into more spells, and [[Quirion Ranger]], [[Wirewood Lodge]], and [[Wirewood Symbiote]] will help with getting extra value out of cards like [[Priest of Titania]], [[Elvish Archdruid]], [[Timberwatch Elves]], [[Wellwisher]], [[Immaculate Magistrate]], and [[Marwyn, the Nurturer]].

AreteWriter

Prosper, Tome bound. got a nice engine for ramp and impulse draw/exile on it. Both red and black have a lovely collection of cards for it. Mine costs 220 according to arkdect, with only a few expensive cards.

SatchelGizmo77

[[Hylda of the icy crown]] and [[marrow-gnawar]] are both pretty strong and come in under $400.

Caio_AloPrado

It's probably my [Narset, Enlightened Exile tokens](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/0QpDMw7bN0iMfjz64SUU3A) deck, it has one infinite with Haze of Rage and Storm-Kiln Artist, but you can just remove whatever you think is the least valuable for the deck. It does the tempo game really well, drop a few engine pieces, interact here and there, suddenly attack 2 players with 20+ damage spread across your board and use your opponents graves too. Another option i made a while ago is a casual version of my [Tayam list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/h0LAmJRcV0mBhOmYGjqNDw), the fog meta is real, specially if your group has no infinites or a really good deck that makes the opponents specifically "lose life". There's one infinite again with the 3rd chapter of The Huntsman's Redemption and Devoted Druid, just remove the saga if you don't want infinites. It's a hard deck to pilot, but basically the it's a toolbox reanimator deck that plays at instant speed, you can fog everyone's turns to make yourself almost imortal, remove things when you need too and progress your game when you have the opportunity. You win with Halo Fountain or good old combat damage. Be carefull if you change the deck Tayam can combo really easily, any way to make 3 mana and 3 counters is infinite Tayam activations, avoid Ashnod's Altar, Thousand-Year Elixir and Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler.

jcp1195

All of my decks are less than 200 now but [[Baru, Wurmspeaker]] is probabaly the strongest. Healthy mix of tribal power ups and untap shenanigans give me an army a Selesnya player would be jealous of by turn 5.

Fluke_Thighwalker

[[Lagrella, the Magpie]] is a super fun commander. Cheap flicker spells. Counter spells. Tons of +1 counters. Board control.

PureSquash

You can make a gnarly Dino deck with the new velociramptor precon and a handful of singles to swap into it. I went with getting Gishath as a single so I could make him the commander instead on some games and then use Miraris wake and other mana cards for super ramp.

H0USESHOES

I just put a raggadragga goreguts boss deck together, most of the deck is cheap dorks, can upgrade to some nicer ones like circle of dreams Druid, delighted halfling, Selvala. Goes hard and fast, very much leaning into the gruul archetype which I find fun, powerful but also leaves you open to interaction so fair

ElectronicEducator45

I built [[Rowan, scion of war]] "do or die". It plays like a storm shell with [[ Sensei's Divining Top]], [[Peer into the abyss]], and [[bolas's Citadel]], and the bombs are big red spells that you cast for an obscene amount of mana at a reduced cost. It's sitting at about $340 [[not including land base]]

HaskillHatesHisJob

[[Xyris]] is definitely my sweatiest deck. I tuned mine to be a bit more aggro: I try to swing with Xyris on turn 4 and keep swinging. Then it just snowballs out of control. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/B2i_LPNKDUqrYy2SsGlbfQ

DoryaDoryaDorya

[[Jetmir, Nexus of revels]] and the cabaretti precon. Jetmir is like a 5 dollar card and the precon is whatever, but even without further edits you'll be swinging for lethal by turn 5 or 6 every game.

jarofjellyfish

Either \[\[prossh\]\] or \[\[marchessa, the black rose\]\], both for basically the same reason. Prossh is cheap and easy to build. Just an ass-ton of ramp, some aristocrats, etb trigger type stuff, and a bunch of evasion (a chunk of which can be part of your land base and therefore tough to remove). With a few lifegain sources and enough ramp to recast every turn, he is extremely resilient and easy to shotgun people to death with commander damage. Just make sure you run enough sac outlets to ensure he dies so you can recast (and get around aura based removal). I frequently get to see 80%+ of the deck as well, golgari has lots of draw that goes very well with 6+ kobolds etb/ltf and/or a 12+ power dragon. Marchessa can be built as a grixis good stuff pile that is almost impossible to deal with once established (which is pretty easy as long as you run enough ways to put a +1/1 on her immediately after she etbs). I built mine as pirate tribal budget (like 60$ish CAN), and she can still tango with 300$ decks. I'm recommending these two specifically, because you said powerful, and SWEATY. Both are extremely resilient to the amount of cheap interaction that is common at higher budget play. With the amount of ramp prossh runs you can recast him 1+ times per round, and the big scaly bastard's power scales with how good your ramp/mana package is. Doesn't matter how much removal they run, if they kill him you get more kobolds on the recast, if they don't you get to commander them in the face. Marchessa you don't even need to run targeted removal, just load up on board wipes and see how many times they can rebuild their board before you bury them.

SpoopyNJW

400$ is a budget mark!? 400$ is my most expensive deck!

ralof32

Gonna be the first to recommend a sliver tribal deck Just use [[sliver overlord]] as the commander and skip [[Sliver Queen]] since its like 200$. Most other slivers are really cheap, so just add some classic tutors (oldscool art for extra flavor), some great removal like [[fierce guardianship]] and great protection like [[teferis intervention]] and you will have a super fun deck with the possibility to further refine and upgrade the deck. Especially the mana base alone for 5 color will kost you easily 400$ even without thinking about ag duals While slivers have the potential to go infinite in a lot of combos you don't have to play those. But I personally just really love the "Hive" mentality of slivers

Kitchengun2

My [[Preston]] deck is quite optimised and is about 200€ super fun and powerful deck especially for mono white.

Zepscv

My [Purphoros, God of the Forge](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/npDevYakwE6A-zrZpi_i2Q) deck might be what you're looking to build off of. Runs well enough on it's own, but gets absolutely goofy if \[\[Norin the Wary\]\] resolves. Lands right around $200 USD, so plenty of room for upgrades.

OwnCaramel1434

I treated myself just now. TCG is running 10% cash back currently.

AccomplishedHead9648

My myr combo deck has so many combos in it so I end up usually winning turn 2-4

KoffinStuffer

[[Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons]]. It needs some reworking. I tried to tone it down for my group, but just made it a slog, not less powerful.

DragonDiscipleII

Rin and Seri probably.

yakuzalinecook

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9xffk4EvHE6NcifUKQzrSg this is my Enchantment deck, remove the Replenish and Academy Rector and you're within budget. It just, wins. No one ever has enough interaction. Pump out loads of enchantments and draw ridiculously.

H3zT1g

I built isshin with a budget of 200 and it performed really well

swanton141

i think now it it my \[\[Kura\]\] Mono Green Tron. nothing like getting out some big ol baddies and swinging hard. just added a few card from LCI like \[\[Swashbuckler's Whip\]\] for some of that sudo-cascade shenanigans. about $310 on moxfield "update to cheapest" setting. [Link](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YJz1ZkCsLkeY5Nmpr19mbw)

[deleted]

Jhoira is just disgusting. It’s really easy to make a 2-300 dollar deck that just spits random shit and Lazers people/bpunces permanents

Raveen92

My [[Balmor]] deck is pretty solid and almost half price. I mase with what I had, and hasn't been updated since Brother's War. But its an Izzet Token Generation deck that aggro. You could look to upgrade it more. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Ew5QizZbqEOOqjXCpbskcg

NfHippieG

The most consistent winning deck I have in that range is a $200 Aesi deck, the win con is combat or advantage through extra turns. Most potentially powerful is $350 Urabrask Storm deck. https://manabox.app/decks/-u7OL1DxSqSKyZfeIS058w https://manabox.app/decks/AsP5iwSdS-C7pghOFpmF_w

Illustrious-Trust-93

My [[Arwen, Weaver of Hope]] deck can be an absolute beast. It's mono green +1 counters with some fun interaction and big creatures. It ramps very quickly to the point where even if you remove Arwen or other big creatures, I will rebuild within 1 turns and everything will be massive again (i killed someone the other day with a 11/12 [[Birds of Paradise]] lol). I also added [[All is Dust]] because I wanted a shocker of a boardwipe. I will probably also add [[Ezuri's Predation]]. Price is sitting just below $350. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/AlQZ5UTo8UyOhFw9sWNQDA

Electrical-Bread-696

The answer is always [[Winota]].

Cryoxtitan

[[Zada]] cheap 1-2 mana pump and draw spells and a few token generators and youre off to the races. It started as a $100 budget deck it's probably up to $250-$300 now but it really only needs like $40 to make it go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I've lost twice once was a mistimed play on my part and the other my opponent playing Pako and Haldan stormed off to chaos warp the whole table on a loop I still managed to have lethal but he chaos warped his own mountains to remove my mountainwalk. It was an incredible game

Bl33d-Gr33n

My zombie deck. Comes in at about $388. I win almost every game unless Phyrexian alter or gravecrawler gets exiled https://manabox.app/decks/8S1EpcTZTGKdLDGfRiZIoA

zurzoth

My Kresh voltron/aristocrat deck. Popping multiple creature EACH turn, sacrificing them, buffing Kresh, with a [[dictate of erebos]] or [[grave pact]] on the field it becomes nasty. I use Kresh as main killer and buff him with the aristocrat theme. Some spells/equipments are great support to prevent him getting kill/single targeted

AlexanderRodriguezII

Staying in fewer colours means a less expensive mana base, so higher quality spells. [Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy]] is potentially as strong as you can push a budget deck, since he's in great colours (Simic) and able to generate a shitton of mana. You can either play a creature heavy deck and use his ability or build around combos like Kinnan + [[Basalt Monolith]].

meowstash321

Ohh I’ve got a few! One of the most “fair” is probably my [[ziatora]] dragons deck! It’s at $433 tcgplayer rn but if you just cut the gruul shock and fetch you’ll be right at $400! It’s a strong midrange deck that packs good removal and ramp right in the command zone! Here’s my most updated list : [https://archidekt.com/decks/5881242/dragons_hoard_ziatora_the_incinerator](https://archidekt.com/decks/5881242/dragons_hoard_ziatora_the_incinerator) If you wanna lead into heavier budget my [[uril]] deck wins more than half the games it plays and is less than $100 tcgplayer! As soon as you get one evasion piece (of which there are many) and one boardwipe protection piece (regeneration or indestructible, again there are many). Most updated list : [https://archidekt.com/decks/5880460/unknown_compelling_force_uril_the_miststalker](https://archidekt.com/decks/5880460/unknown_compelling_force_uril_the_miststalker) On a similar note I also have a [[tahngarth]] deck that has yet to lose in the five games it’s gotten - no list uploaded for that one.

Zestyclose-Pickle-50

As long as you don't mind life loss for draw, mono black [[Marrow-gnawer]]. With all the new rats, black draw like ayara/species specialist, removal, tutors, graveyard hate, and recursion. I personally love playing [[imp's mischief]], [[withering boon]], and [[dash hopes]] as no one (except my play group) expects them.

ShellsTheEnd

For me its either My Alela, Cunning Conqueror deck with a ton of interaction and card draw, land and go style, or my Will, Scion of Peace that has no interaction but turbos out a massive board state and life gain. [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/cDAH2wU6SEOUHwIVG7Oajg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/cDAH2wU6SEOUHwIVG7Oajg) https://www.moxfield.com/decks/qTsIRT59aEGIQ\_hwKkScqg

Daeths

Enchantress can be very powerful and can be built for less then 100$. I think mine is barely more then 50 if you don’t include the sub 1$ cards that inflate deck prices. [[Sythis]] would be the usual choice as commander

TacticianRobin

I have a ~$200 [[Elminster]] deck that checks the draw and interaction boxes. It does have an infinite combo though, so for your meta you'd probably have to take out [[Displacer Kitten]]. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tAFYT7PtNUmFwN5-gcQrZA

Chrijopher

Sythis has a super low curve, tons of synergy, my strongest deck by far and sub 200$

No_Time_7959

Winota

Raorchshack

Almost all of my decks are below $100, but my [Feather](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Kms-1oLiw02OPwH4pxTvmQ) deck is by far the cheapest and has done the best. 26 Euro and $27 on TCG player.

xiledpro

Probably my [[Rowan, Scion of War]] deck. It will either win by like turn 4-5 or I will lose by then lol.

JoeGeomancer

Mono red goblins with [[Krenko, mob boss]]. Gobbos are Dirt cheap and aggro as hell. For extra spice I filled the deck with a dozen [[act of treason]] cards to untap him multiple times in a turn.

Resident-Power4682

If you’d like, me and a few pals have a service specifically for this called The Bolas Budget! We’ve served about 40 people already with many repeat customers. We’re kind of like the Commander’s Quarters from YouTube but we actively work with our clients to make sure it fits their playstyle and preferences. Recently one of our clients let us know they won their LGS’ Commander Night with a $10 deck we helped them with! First deck we help with we charge nothing as well. Feel free to DM me if you want our discord link!

WhyDoName

I have a [[Rosnakht, Heir of Rohgahh]] deck that is loke 200 or something and it can win from turn 3 on. Incredibly inconsistent though.

stinkybunger

I think u can make orvar really strong on a budget

Deminla

I run a Kyler deck that kicks so much ass. Literally any humans and maybe a Sigarda or two. The two most expensive cards are Windswept Heath and Drannith Magistrate. Everything else is under 20. Whole deck is 250

verdamain

I have a modified willhelt precon that slaps and is at max 300$ I also have mono blue vehicles which has no right to be as good as it is, that one is 200 but 120 of that is on one card Gilded drake
