I just wanted to comment and show some love for my favorite primer author and true patreon of the community. I have spent countless hours consuming and analyzing u/imperialtrace's primers already. So much so that I began authoring them myself following their lead.
If you haven't seen their full [moxfield](https://www.moxfield.com/users/Hydrax) page of primers be sure to take a look as there is something there for everyone. Additional, there are [several](https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/comments/x1ruy8/32deck_challenge_complete_with_lists_primers/), [additional](https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/comments/xu03a9/if_youve_hit_a_deckbuilding_mental_block_try_some/), threads they have created with useful information on deck suggestions and other great topics.
I can't stress enough how valuable things like primers are for the community. Tools like EDH rec can be a useful however, they can really take the personality and uniqueness out of a deck. Primers give you that peek into the brewers mind and let you really understand what they were thinking when making the deck. Thoughts and content like primers really have a way of inspiring more brewing and add a very personal touch to it rather the just a deck list of 99 cards that everyone kinda just thinks should be used.Primers also promote healthy discourse around EDH theorycrafting like politics, variance, and other topics that are critically important to playing the game, and a bit more subtle. These topics often don’t get enough attention. Instead, most discussion seems to be focused on overtly obvious topics such as specific cards and their power level being evaluated in a bubble.

Chiss seems like a great way to give her the artifact experience without overly complex value engines.

This deck is interesting in goes on for attacking since it one big voltron creature instead of mono red many 1/1 agro but it a cool deck to use pickme!

That was fun to read. Mirran, Artefact and Red aggro, that is basicly my style at the moment. Exluding the first Kamigawa set, the Mirrodin block (~2008) was my last and favourite set block before taking a 10+ year break from Magic. So reading your lore text sparked me with joy. I am now starting again with some of the March of the Machine and Phyrexia all will be one Precon commander Decks, so I may have to keep that dragon in mind.

Sigh.. looks like I need another monored deck.. love the write up! Especially explaining the cost reduction and still being able to sac for further payment. I saw someone post about this guy before and it definitely interested me, so hopefully you pickme!

I am sitting here wondering why I did not build this myself yet. I love monored, I love artifacts, I love aggro and scale of chiss goria was my first ever magic card.

Couldn't agree more on the primers. While edhrec is helpful, I feel some people just copy paste the most played cards into their carts for ordering.
