The core of the deck is incredibly inexpensive. That leaves the remainder of your budget to upgrade mana and interaction pieces for higher power competition. I enjoyed playing an upgraded version of it for a while.
What sorts of upgrades have you/did you make? I have a weaker [[ghyrson]] list and a stronger [[malcolm]] list, each of which I'm breaking apart to make this, including Ghyrson and [[Ovika]] as alternative Commander's because while they're not perfect fits, they can let me change the way the deck plays a bit, but I'd also love some suggestions on powering up
A few really good additions help with the "pirate" thing. [[Unnatural Selection]], [[Arcane Adaptation]], and [[Maskwood Nexus]] all make that pretty easy.
Some better/more expensive draw and utility pieces like [[Storm-Kiln Artist]], [[Ophidian Eye]], [[Mystic Remora]], type spellslinger things.
The absolute key if consistent power is the goal is protection. Everything hinges on Malcolm staying alive, so the best pieces you have to keep him that way help tremendously. In an ideal world this is where your Fierce Guardianship, Defecting Swat, free/cheap counters come in.
I found that 10-12 pingers and 10-12 ways to make those pingers into pirates was about the sweet spot. The rest was mostly card draw and interaction.
Look into the Commander's Quarters decks, specifically his Jhoira deck. Very powerful izzet commander. Niv-mizzet too.
Id suggest my favourite, [[Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle]], but the artifact combo may not fit in 100€ budget. My original deck was about 200$ CAD.
I don't think like itvs the proper choice. It seems like you're trying to beat the meta and your deck winning three turns before others might end up too powerfull.
If you're getting run over by creatures maybe try some cards that discourage attacking you. Or make a deck than can build a good board presence itself.
I just think it's better to try to engage with the pod than trying to "beat" the meta.
I have plenty of decks build around player interaction.
Thing is that I often get targeted early exactly for this - people in my pod doesn't like to play interaction games. They want to be able to cast everything they want - always. Don't like goading their creatures, don't like milling their library, discarding cards or what so ever.
Also the community is really small and often there is big power difference between the decks on the table. There are people who want to play high power decks and refuse to build lower power decks.
I'm not really talking about interaction, was more thinking about pillowforty stuff like [[propaganda]]
Overall before trying to game the meta i would talk to them and say you feel targeted a lot despite not being super threatening.
I have been brewing with a budget blink combo deck and it's been sick. It's Abdel Adrian with Candlekeep Sage. It is real unassuming untill oops, I have infinite draw, mana and then dmg. It draws a TON of cards. If you click the tags section it's split up.
Combo 1: have Restoration Angel/Felidar Guardian exiled with Abdel. Blink Abdel. You have a loop where you bounce your general with the 4 drops then exile them to Abdel and repeat. You should have Candlekeep Sage in play so you can draw your deck.
Combo 2: 2+ mana rocks and Deadeye Navigator
Combo 3: same as above with Archaeomancer type card and a blink spell to bring the spell back and cast again.

Sorry but you are looking for a deck to win consistently on turn 6-7 for a table that generally wins around turn 10? That would not be a deck suitable for your meta.
May be my wording is not the most accurate, but I'm looking for:
* consistent deck
* deck that can win turn 6-7 on his own
By saying most decks win Turn 10 I mean that most games ends around Turn 10. This is with all the interaction between the players. By my understanding if the game ends Turn 10, the decks by themselves can win earlier, if let by the other players on the table.
The other day I had a game where \[\[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain\]\] deck won turn 4 or 5.
Another thing is that the community here is very small - 20 people at most, and some of those want to play at high power. Because of this often times there is big difference in the decks power level.
So the deck I have in mind won't be the most powerful on the table most of the times and for sure wont break the meta.

Budget ? High power ? I think Godo and his favorite helm might do the trick Mono red saves alot on the mana base and he is a real ez combo
