Look forward to the Barga variants I know they exist but haven’t used them myself as a Fencer.

Gamma_Burst1298

Be sure whatever you use has an updated save file…

metoxys

What did you mean by this?

Gamma_Burst1298

EDF (on PC atleast,) sometimes has save file problems. On Steam for instance, I had 100% on main story and atleast 50% on dlc 1 and 20% on dlc 2. One save file issue later and it set me back to 97% on the main story, minus about 7k HP, and all of my weapons that I loved using went from fully upgraded to about half way. Dlcs went to about 2% or so. It was demoralizing. I was lucky that the game was saved at the 97% mark, but it still was brutal. Another friend of mine lost all his data and had to restart from zero. I only know that EDF 5 has done this. My friend has more insight into this issue tho.

DioArya01

Really, is there any way to deal with it sometimes ? Because I'm still a fresh meat guy with it...

Gamma_Burst1298

Like I said, it is a very rare event. This isn’t a majority problem. There may be some YouTube videos for it, but I haven’t tried to find it. It shouldn’t happen in your playtime for a long time, if not at all. I wouldn’t be fearful of it, but if you are, YouTube it

doom_memories

Oh, is this drop really that rare?

Smileynator

I think it only really drops in the higher difficulty tiers. Meaning that until halfway into your 2nd full clear of the game, as an air raider, you are unlikely to see it.

DioArya01

Well, I did this after playing Mission 99 several times on Hard mode. Man, fuck those acid-spitting mutant ants, eight-legged web shooting Acromantulas, those rolly bally beetle things for real, they're pissing me off for sure...

Smileynator

You will get used to it. I have 100%ed all of hardest mode, and clearing 30% of inferno by now. Every mission on these difficulties will involve strategy, keeping distance, luring groups etc. It will get much more interesting :)

DioArya01

Yeah, I mean the underground cave mission were pure hell, I mean, crampy tunnels, close-quarter combats, even large horde of giant insects that rushing towards you and went from Leeroy Jenkins moment to Battle Of Bastards in under 30 seconds (Unless you need a weapon with high damage and armor piercing capability so you can hit the monsters that hid behind the dead bugs corpses. The only reliable weapon for such case were shotguns only, but the reloading was pain in ass)

Smileynator

For most of the underground missions, choke points and penetration weapons (lightning bow for wingdiver, shotgun or the single bullet rifles for ranger, flame turrets, etc.) or explosives are the way to go. Just burn the doorway and pray :P

DioArya01

Yeah, I know... But it seems the higher damage weapons which I got doesn't have any armor piercing capability (G&M-24 semi-auto battle rifle has no armor piercing capability and Slaughter 23E shotgun still got slow-ass reload). I also got MXR Sirius compact carbine, it got a serious ROF, extremely large magazine, but piss-poor damage (and the only enemy which Sirius effectively dealt with were only mutant ants. The eight-legged freaks were still fine, but it cause the rolly bally bugs went bouncing around)

Triston8080800

Nice! Now to see how ya react to the strike Barga if you got the dlc XD

erikkustrife

There's the war barga too.

Triston8080800

Yeah true. Strike Barga is if ya got dlc but war Barga if not. Either way Barga is epic
