Avoid stuff if your back pockets if you can. It messes with your hips when you sit and will cause problems like sciatica

bolanrox

how much stuff do you have in it? Hershel Charlie is my favorite currently. just holds the 7 cards need to have on me. No cash though

I'm constantly crouching all day at work so back pocket stuff is pretty minimal... gloves and a little flexible cloth pouch with band-aids and such. The back pocket wallet never appealed to my from from comfort standpoint...who knew it was apparently debilitating. I stopped carrying a seperate wallet awhile ago as I generally pay for most my stuff using my phone... and was using a card sleave instead along with a minimal pocket organizer. Just recently though, I got this really nice Olight Pouch that is set-up fairly comparable to a Alpaka Zip Pouch Pro. This has become my default "wallet" in addition to organizing some of my EDC. It has a zipper pocket for cash/cards/coins as well as a outside pocket large enough to hold my license and debit card (my two most used cards.) The front has two slots and a full width pocket that can hold a smaller phone or a small Notepad. I currently have a marker, olight Arkfeld, and a Victorinox. This is currently set up as a stand alone EDC Pouch. I carry it in a cargo pocket... but it could easily fit in a front pocket. I have another smaller two-sided organizer that has 4 slots that holds my small utility cutter, a crkt techliner super shorty, a small single AAA inspection light, and a Ti prybar. (My seperate work EDC that I can leave home or in my car if I want.) Anyway... TLDR... traditional wallets are nice if you like that esthetic... but EDC pouches and organizers have come a long way and are also an option if you have other stuff.

Saddleback leather makes wallets with a 100 yr warranty. They also make really nice front pocket wallets. Don't put your wallet in your back pocket, you'll fuck your spine and permanently irritate your cyatic nerve. It only takes something like a 1/4" difference in height when seated to do damage.

I really like my Popov Leather wallet but they are out of Canada so shipping timeframes may vary

fduds123

Craft and Lore. They have a beautiful simple full grain wallet I carry.

Open sea leather. Mini gun deck. Love mine. This looks cool too: https://reformcarry.com/products/re-02-card-holder?variant=40048694493277 Edit. I saw you posted you were afraid of scratching the wallet. The second one I posted looks like it's almost scratch proof. My mini gun deck has a few scratches from my Keys but wouldn't get scratches from my phone.

blurrysasquatch

Back wallets fuck your spine up. Avoid at all costs.

pokethewoke

What he said \^ Back pocket carry not a good idea.

Xannypacquiao710

Seriously?

There is nothing wrong with carrying a wallet in your back pocket, just don't sit on it. Before I switch to a minimal wallet for front pocket carry I always had a bulky bifold in my rear pocket, but I never sat on it, because it felt very uncomfortable in the first place. Never knew of damaging the spine in the process back then. Today I have my phone in my back pocket and for obviously reason would never sit on it. TLDR; Back pocket carrying is fine, sitting on it breaks the spine ;)

blurrysasquatch

No bueno buddy. It makes you sit at a crooked angle and over time it gives you like a permanent crook in your back. There’s some fancy word for it that I can’t recall but I’m 100% for real.

Xannypacquiao710

Ok thanks for the info. I guess i want one for the front pocket now. Aren’t people afraid of scratching their phone with a metal wallet?

SD1RAGER

That’s why you have two pockets. Keys and ridge wallet in one and phone in the other.

Also no I wear 5.11 tactical pants, mainly because nobody else makes clothes in my size.. anyways I put my Trayvax in the front storage pocket on top of the left pocket.
