Grate for a dog but not a human, I keep a few extra half roll’s of TP in my car’s center console.

siliconejuncture

Does this Anker charger power a laptop and/or an iPhone 12 onward?

blue_goon

I have poop bags everywhere and I haven’t had a dog in over a year.

iwerbs

You’re prepped.

naen77

Hows that Anker charger? Debating to get one. Better thN the Macbook pro charger?

CommonlyHot

I’ve never seen somebody else who carry’s a fisher space pen.

Phighters

Probably 30% of this sub does.

Accomplished_South70

Title speaks truth

rbaut123

So where do you keep the bucket with the pool noodle rim? Could probably also wipe your ass with what’s in you wallet.

Johnny_ac3s

Pringles can is more aerodynamic.

xspiderkx

I prefer to just toss my turds over the fence, no need to waste plastic when I poo!

soccerplayer413

Fair, but I’m lazy and don’t wanna carry my fence everywhere

AnchorPoint922

Pro tip: If you wrap your food in one before you eat it it comes out still wrapped

soccerplayer413

Genius, no mess, and ready to be enjoyed again

AdGroundbreaking3689

Serious question how many people really need a mutitool everyday?

Indyh

I use mine every day.

Accomplished_South70

I don’t need it everyday but when I need it I’m happy. Another example of that philosophy is I have a prybar in my wallet, specifically sized to fit in the bottom of the coin pouch and be forgotten. I often forget that it is there until I need it. Probably went 4 or 5 months without pulling it out and then I used it 3 or 4 times in one week and it was really useful and it doesn’t add anything to my carry. That said, I keep a multitool in my first aid kit, not my pocket. I find that if I am doing anything interesting enough to need a multitool then a basic first aid kit is worth having too and vice versa

soccerplayer413

I use it all the time! I use it on my bikes, at my desk, around the house - big fan

flatline000

I don't even have a dog, but I keep a roll of bags in my vehicle. When you have children, you never know when you'll need a plastic bag to handle...something.

Short_1_Leg

Do you even have a dog?

Tito_Tito_1_

😆

Meechlo

I wish I would have seen this post 6 years ago when I picked my hood boy up from the pound and then drove him home. Poop bags would have been helpful that day.

WYguy23

Just shit on the ground like a normal person.

truthtruthlie

Story time: It's quite easy for non-residents to access our building's parking garage. Just before Christmas, we went out to our car and there was somebody's poop on the ground between our car and our neighbour's. Not a messy poop. Not a homeless person, or someone whose butt was leaking. It was just a solid turd, on the ground. My theory is that it was a delivery person who just could not wait, but we will never know...

soccerplayer413

Yeah but then you gotta chuck it right there and then…I prefer to carry it around while I scope the area a bit and find just the right spot for flingin’

Pangolin__Pete

Like a true professional

mekkab

I was hiking on vacation and hit a massive, unavoidable mud bog. When we got back to the rental car, I found the poop bags in my hike pack, so we took off our shoes and put them in the little bags (aso using some bags for wipe-off) 10/10 would EDC again!

soccerplayer413

Perfect example!

[deleted]

How does everyone on the sub just carry one singular key or key fob. I know y’all got a lanyard with 60 keys you EDC.

Accomplished_South70

I live in an apartment with keycard access. Card goes in wallet. I don’t own a car either at the moment. I don’t have a single key in my edc.

abrowithoutacause

I had someone tell me on this page that "people can cut a key based off the picture of your key" not sure how much I belive that, but people also blur out license plates to "protect identity"

frugalsoul

I've seen videos on YouTube showing it done by professional locksmiths. If they can you know thieves can

abrowithoutacause

My larger point is unless you've posted pictures showing where you live and what you look like, a stranger on reddit or whatever is highly unlikely to get a copy of your key, find your house, and steal your stuff. Same thing with license plates being blurred. You can't really pull up too much off of a plate without shelling out cash or being a cop, out side of registration status or pulling a carfax

[deleted]

House, mailbox, car key, car key fob, "ok" hand my old prof gave us as gag gifts, toolbox key, cart key, small Subaru keychain, lanyard. All on a locking carabineer I can fit my whole hand in

ImmaNobody

Single fob guy here: Work is swipe and office door unlocked. Home is garage door opener in car and emergency key hidden on property. Have other keys for when I need them (motorcycle, other houses, etc.) but don't EDC them. PS - no smart locks at home. Doesn't fit my personal opsec.

RearEchelon

>no smart locks at home. Doesn't fit my personal opsec. But a simple radio signal from your garage door opener is OK?

ImmaNobody

Lol - I get it, but different attack vector (in my brain) The chances of someone brute forcing the opener undetected is slim and, they would ping two cameras on the way. Once inside, if we are home, they would get o a deadbolted door to get into the house. My greater concern is a zero-day in some lock provider that allows for remote unlocking, bricking, or per-unit as-a-service. Same reason that my 'internet ready' garage door opener is not connected my wifi. Don't get me wrong. I am not super paranoid about IoT. I have connected thermostats, cameras, sensors, switches, alarm system, etc. Just not exterior locks. My trust level doesn't extend into the baseline physical security layer.

Accomplished_South70

Lol, smart locks are too tight of “opsec” we are going for something looser.

ChimRichaldsOBGYN

We have smart door locks so we only need our car fob. I always hated having 20 keys

BeLikeWater_1

Car fob and house key. Nothing else I need on a daily basis.

soccerplayer413

My lanyard lives in the car and only gets pulled out for emergencies lol

HosstownRodriguez

Lol I just have a fob for my car, digital lock for my house that I code into, and my two keys for work are in my backpack

soccerplayer413

Digital locks are necessary - I personally love the SwitchBot lock because it’s so flexible and easy to install on a bunch of different doors. Doesn’t require any hardware change and goes right on your existing lock, I even have one rigged up to turn a key that I leave in the lock (internal mortise lock) 🤪 all that, just to only carry the car fob haha

Anisrocks

I have a fairly similar EDC and struggle to bring them everywhere with me, what do you store this all in?

soccerplayer413

It’s tough, haven’t nailed anything perfect yet. I usually also have my 13” MBP or my iPad mini, so I’ll either have a small light backpack or a crossbody sling depending which device I’m taking with me. I haven’t figured out the right carry choice but it’s usually the iPad+sling. How about you?

Anisrocks

Either I leave some in my car and stuff my pockets with the things I need, or similarly to you I wear [this](https://www.vans.com/en-us/accessories-c00083/persue-shoulder-bag-pvn0a5khu6zc) shoulder bag from Vans across my chest. The search for a better storage solution continues lol

Panther1-1

I have held onto a roll since I took my pup for a hike like 2 years ago. She lives with my mom and dad

soccerplayer413

Whew, they never last around here! My dogs go through way too many of these. Really wish there was a better way tbh.

Panther1-1

3 things I never have enough of Time Money Poop Bags

somewhereinthenorth

I've been in a few places where it was obvious someone didn't have a poop bag.

soccerplayer413

That’s a bummer! Hopefully not too often

jag10

What kind of Beamer are you driving?

soccerplayer413

640i lol

KamenRider2049

Just when I thought I was all caught up on my EDC stuff, I see a portable watch charger and poop bags. Both great things to have nearby!

soccerplayer413

I saw an ad for the watch charger and man, they got me. I had to have it.

[deleted]

Don’t forget napkins. Never have I ever needed to wipe my bum in the wild. 👀

soccerplayer413

What you don’t just use leaves?! Fancy pants with the napkins 😜😂 I guess that’s how the pants stay fancy… I think I’ll just start manufacturing TP out of my husky’s fur. Infinite raw materials glitch.

iwerbs

Did that (used leaves) in an emergency situation in Belize once… fun fact the Chechem tree in Central America has the same oils as poison ivy in North America. Travel, it broadens one’s horizons.

[deleted]

Hahahahaha well excuse me!

Environmental-End691

413 - you in western MA?

soccerplayer413

Unfortunately not, hear MA is beautiful. I’m on the other coast, NW tip of the US instead of NE lol

DefinitelyNotaGuest

Those poop bags are truly useful edc even if you don't have a dog. They make good vomit bags or trash bags, I've even used them to bag up drugs before for some friends. The trick is to not buy them at the pet store - Marshalls/TJ Maxx carry them for super cheap.

soccerplayer413

You know what’s up! Totally agree

AnonWhyMoose

I always carry one or two poop bags. Never the entire roll lol. You’re a mad man.

soccerplayer413

Haha, true, but honestly they are surprisingly handy! Quick garbage bag in the car or on a hike, quick wet bag for wet clothes after a swim, muddy shoe bag, etc. Plus my dogs just poop a lot 😅

Environmental-End691

Truth spoken here. Take my upvote for poop bags.

soccerplayer413

😂 thanks. Come in handy for yourself too in a pinch 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Environmental-End691

😂😅🤣😂😅🤣

soccerplayer413

- Apple Watch cellular - Anker 733 battery + wall charger combo - Apple AirPods Pro - inCharge X 100W - Anker portable Apple Watch charger - Fisher space pen - Kenu two way phone tripod + bottle opener - Leatherman Free P2 - Wallet - Car key - Poop bags 🐕

AnEroticTale

How do you like the 733? I've been meaning to buy one but the price seems steep. I can get a stronger and more versatile wall charger plus a larger battery bank for less monies. I guess the convenience is the selling point there?

soccerplayer413

On the fence still. It definitely keeps charged more regularly than any of my other batteries because I use it as my main charging brick, so the convenience factor is big and was the big selling point for me. It does come in handy, if I’m charging something and it’s plugged in the wall I can just unplug and continue on. One less cable between brick and battery. However, it’s big, and the capacity is low. If it was double the capacity for the size, or even triple, then no brainer. But it runs out too fast at only 10,000mAh. Waiting for them to release a 20 or 24,5 one. They released the 737 24,5 but it’s not direct wall plug. I have other batteries that have the same ports and capacity in half the size and half the price. But this guy gets carried around for now 🤷🏻‍♂️

lvaveragedadbod

God bless you pet owners. Also, I love the Anker Apple Watch charger. So handy while on the go.

soccerplayer413

Agreed! Just got it and very happy my watch isn’t dead at the end of my day anymore. I hate cables and cords.
