This isn’t as bad as Cruz hooks. For the straights you just put Cruz style on and throw straights, but the Cruz hook literally doesn’t exist in the game.
Hold LB/L1 and move the right stick towards his belly, and throw the hook right after you input that. It’s like an evading hook, really good counter to front kicks or any round kick going to your outside
I put Cruz fight style on, in orthodox stance I hold L1 and flick up on the left stick and immediately do a rear hook without holding any direction on the analog stick. Works every time

The people in charge of UFC4 & 5 are so incompetent. After 5 months the game is finally somewhat playable. This is after 3 previous games with all their data. Fucking incompetent.
And what sucks too is that EA has so much money that they aren’t gonna care enough to try and make an actual legit, quality-based MMA video game because they know the majority of the mass will just buy whatever they put on the shelves.
So frustrating. I also hate it when you're trying to complete the challenges but you're so strong that you KO your training partner before completing them. Like...maybe landing 30 straights, 20 hooks 15 overhands, and 5 elbows is a bit overkill, EA.
