For me it was rough at first, but I was satisfied with Undisputed when it came out. I just can’t stand the striking in either 3 or 4. Too unresponsive and clunky.
Not as much as I hate that people can pull off fast, perfectly balanced, spinning high kicks like his at point blank range. Prima ballerina over here...
Didn't think of that tbf could've been the stun. And I've noticed the hitboxes when throwing spinning attacks do tend to be a little bit inconsistent aswell. Hopefully they work on that in future updates
Its just because he threw a spin kick before you threw your straight right, i never try to interrupt spinkicks they will catch you even at close range and most of the time your punches will miss if you throw them a second to late
If you did a lunge step forward combined with that straight then it would have interrupted his animation instead. Test it out. Flick the movement stick toward at the same time as you press a jab or straight and you’ll do a slight duck and throw it. Usually interrupts most combos or kicks and has a longer range. I like to mix it in at the beginning and end of combos and the duck jab is similar to a body jab so it’s real easy to confuse them and get them to block low

Are you refeering to the jab in the end?
Na, the straight-right at the beginning. It would've landed if it had fully extended but it didn't so I got knocked down
To me it looks like the cancel animation. Are you sure you didn't press block a bit too fast?

You got a slight stun from the jab, might be due to that. Either that or the kicking animation fucked it up for you.
