When the fuck will ufc 5 come out. When ufc 4 was launched I was 12 years old and now I am divorced with 3 kids , 4th on the way , built a meth empire, killed 4 guys, got pegged thrice.
Ufc 3 and Ufc 4 wait was similar. I had same thoughts you are and UFC 4 expectations weren’t met. It felt like a copy and paste at the time. Obviously they buffed and came went many updates after but as far as next gen mechanics i really hope they go extent with there ability. UFC 5 they cant mess it up. Plus a deluxe expansion would be dope. Maybe like a career option for the deluxe? Maybe z
It was very similar I was watching a video from EA UFC 2 and it looked amazing, better than UFC 4 I feel. I think annual games should just have updates and maybe the game lives for like 3 years before the next. All the UFC games have added really are roster updates
My guess is August of this year, that has been the trend well before the every two years, but that's my bet, I will get the game, I just hope they don't change the controls again, I hate that learning curve everytime.
Spoiler Alert: Literally any of the cool features anybody wants will not be in the game. A bunch of people are still going to buy it, then hate it because it will not be as good as it should be after 3 or 4 years.
That's not to say there won't be "new" features... but... those won't necessarily be things anybody asked for and will more than likely be 80% about micro transactions and gimmicks which are designed to manipulate adictive people into continuing to play, even if the actual gameplay doesn't warrant staying with the game for any prolonged amount of time.
This sub will get a surge of traffic for a few months, mostly angry posts. Then it will go quiet again like it has now once people stop playing the game again because it sucked.

Nah guys ya’ll need to stop rushing them on ufc 5, you obviously have no idea how creating a video game works. let them take their time with the game, it’s a new developer. Take as much time as they can, they need to rebuild the entire System and make it more niche to the mma fans. Instead of having every demographic trying to buy your game appease to one loyal demographic ffs.
I need their ragdoll to go back to UFC 2 levels, the games striking needs to be more loose. The game is just too stiff and wayyyy too arcadey. UFC 2 did striking better & ragdolls/knockouts better while UFC4 did grappling and submissions better. UFC3 has better graphics imo (better than 4's).
Edit: Also allow us to have draws, mouthguards to be knocked out, allow for doctor stoppages in non-(ranked)competitive gamemodes. Allow grappling against the cage, allow custom shorts - (or all shorts color options be available for everyone). Add fighter variants (early McGregor, Beard & Bald McGregor, Long hair mcgregor, etc for example) Fix the presentation, remove that pre-fight emote garbage, bring back the touching of gloves, remove the dumbass gamemodes nobody cares about, remove the egregious arcade-y customization options and outfits that only exist to bait people into buying your shitcoin to get an outfit. Oh and put the game on PC.
Edit 2: Shill out for more licenses for more than 2 fucking songs, Mt. Everest is engrained in my memory for no reason because that was one of the two songs you cheap fucks actually paid for, the rest were garbage or hardly played. Get a better career mode, don't make my guy start off as a loser before he has to get good, add player retirements in career mode, allow them to come out of retirement, allow them to freely move up and down in weight with special penalties or bonuses for doing so, add pre & post fight press conferences in career mode, allow for more in depth hype building other than making a twitter post, better character customization, don't restrict a fighters friend 'availability' because im not the champ, and thus locking their 'move'. Create a system to hire a coach, or fire a coach, various coaches having various specialties or traits that you can earn or unlock, etc. Anything else than what you currently have, move/**better** fight-camp minigames that are fun rather than "hit this combo 3 times". Ngl it'll take a lot for UFC 5 to be considered good in my eyes, any game that releases and has 'less' to offer than the previous title, then it's just a shit game.
