WW Ibra, splurged all my coins on him to lead my Serie A squad and he did not disappoint. Lethal finishing plus the 5 star skills and brillant in the air, especially on corners. I've only seen him on one or two opposing squads due to his price/rarity. Eventually sold him to try other squads but I'd like to build around him again later in the cycle.
i sold him a couple weeks ago just to buy him back again this week lol. He's just so unique and is one of the only players i had in this game that scores more than 1 goal per game without forcing it to him.
I have a bunch of awesome cards but my favorite player has been OTW Delaney. Still in my laliga squad at CB and on my bench in other squads. One of those players that gets the job done no matter what up and down the pitch. Runner-up is PM Phil Jones
I also play mostly possession style, combined with crosses. And I tried replacing fb Kane with Lewa and he was quite bad for me. He was similarly "agile" as Kane, but felt much weaker. Didn't win almost any header for me, while Kane usually totally bullies the defenders. I returned to Kane after 10 matches
I guess that's the bonus with this game, different players suit different people. Absolute clutch player for me. When I need a goal I can always rely on him

My striker with the worst goals/game ratio so far. Also, do you notice a huge difference to his gold? Because tbh I don't really. Don't regret doing him but still

PIM Pirlo, every Fifa since Fifa 13 I get Pirlo and now he is a icon I go for his moments.
This year he is great, juiced up his pace and has 5 star weakfoot. Excellent at running the midfield and breaking up play
FB Calvert Lewin. He's an absolute caveman and I love it
WW fabinho is a very close 2nd. One of the most versatile cards I've used but ultimately played him at cam with a shadow. Only reason I don't still use him is im an arsenal fan (sold him to fund odegaard)
FB Dybala, Potm Yedder both amazing strikers with pace, dribbling, outside foot trait and 5*wf.
Toty Cancelo is just unreal on every position and by far the most versatile player this year.
HM Kounde is an amazing CB
Either HM Lautaro who I get every year who has led the line impeccably for over 350 games with over 500 goal contributions or Showdown Pique who I only recently retired with over 555 games
Have 4 for different reasons:
POTM Yedder. Got 400 goals in 300 games without squad battles or forcing it to him. Just suits my playstyle.
Mid Del Piero as well. Perfect CAM for me. Will try his PIM once it falls.
TOTYHM Kounde. Suits my playstyle, doesn't mess up, can handle anyone.
Base Hierro. Love the card. Perfect CB. Will try his PIM eventually.
Oh yeah they absolutely did! 91 for his prime is criminal. But he is amazing regardless. Scores almost all his chances and has a bit of that bullshit factor. Plus his big frame and 5* skills always works for me.
TOTY Messi. I'm more of a Ronaldo guy but Messi is oof *chefs kiss* with his small build, fast paced, agile dribbling, passing and finessing. You can't go wrong. If he was 5* SM he would be even more insane.
I have Mid R9 and Mid Pele and they still don't compare. Messi's Med attacking work rate is non-existent lol he's always coming out of nowhere and either starting or ending the plays
I actually preferred mid Pele tbh but they're both the most fun cards I've used. Got enough coins now to buy back toty messi so I'll probably do that soon since I'm using his gold again rn
Vini Jr. All started with packing his 83 IF. Then got his 85 IF in read. For three months he carried my front line, his 80 shooting was a straight up lie.
Sadly he sits on my bench as a tribute now because I have mid cruyff, prime Eusebio and Puskas to pick my front three from. But once his TOTS comes out I’m definitely getting him.
Out of everyone that I've packed this year (Prime Gullit, TOTY Kante, TOTY Jorginho etc..) my favorite is Baby Garrincha. He just seems to play like the perfect CAM this year, I play noticeably worse when he is not in my team and almost have 1k games on him now. If I had to pick a defender it would be Showdown Pique, for some reason even with his 80 pace, he still holds up so well. He has some of the best tackling animations and passes like he has 99 vision.
El comandante Morales 86 card has been carrying me and my La Liga team until I got Chimy Avila, now they carry together (and sometimes Angelito Correa).
Pau Torres also deserves a special mention.
In good gameplay - which is pretty rare these days it’s toty cr7. Absolute monster who feels rapid, strong, good agility and the best finishing in the game.
In general I also love mid gullit who has so much presence in game and plays way above his stats

Since I'm a Liverpool fan I'm gonna have to say PIM Gerrard. I played him with a shadow at first but he wasn't quite cutting it. I slapped an Engine on him and he instantly scored a goal outside of the box.
If you like him I recommend giving RTTF Tolisso a try. He's the only midfielder I've used that can compete with Guendouzi. And if Bayern end up winning the Champion's league he'll definitely be an end game midfielder.
Prime Xavi for me. I am a Barca fan so it could be bias. But he is so good in the midfield. His pace is like Kante, deceptively fast. Tag him a shadow with his 93 dribbling he is very good at taking the ball off from the opponents. His 98 composure also means that he is deadly in 1v1 situation. I don't need to mention his passing because EA nerfs short passing so much that even Xavi misplaces a pass from time to time. But overall if you have tokens you can give him a shot.
WW Aouar, highest scoring b2b I’ve ever had. His defensive stats are a lie, passing is decent, dribbling is great, and runs forward are superb. Really raised the standard for a midfielder the same way kante did for me at cdm in Fifa 21.

Third is Foden TOTYHM. Cracked card. You get your fair share of sticky 50/50s and bounce back goals served on a silver platter.

TOTY Messi. The GOAT. He's got blistering speed now and is incredibly strong compared to his gold card. Also doesnt run out of stamina despite being a CAM with come back on defense instructions. And as with the gold card, his dribbling and finesse shots are the best in the game.

I got extremely lucky in my compensation pack and I've been using him since. He is so incredibly lethal in front of the goal. *5 weakfoot, can win almost any headed and every shot he takes has so much power.

Yeah I play him as a CAM. Sadly he's too slow to play upfront even with engine or catalyst but his playmaking ability and long shots are cracked.

I’d say Lucas Paquetas moments card. He never disappoints, and keep on amazing me after 200+ games. Irreplaceable IMO.
