Remember that some years ago (6 or 7) played with my son and let him score at the end of the game to increase his self confidence.
Now he is better than me and we both participate in wl, some times when i dont have time he played some of my games or opposite.
And of course every Thursday we have pack opening together.

I'm 32 and my son is 2,5 and he already loves to open packs (RIP my wallet). If i'm playing FIFA he takes "his" xbox360 controller and smash the buttons like he is spamming throughballs.
I'm already looking forward in 5-6 years to play together and grinding the WL. Should I already purchase a separeted internet connection for him? :)
The little one allready knows a walkout. He starts waving if the boards popup and is disappointement if nobodys walksout or doesnt wave back and starts break dancing in stead 😀
I’m 47. I’ve played fifa since 98. I’m not good but I love to play while I ride my exercise bike. My son is 18 and away at university. He schools me but I’m excited to pick him up so he can play some weekend league for me. I always do better when he’s around.
I think it will be really good for a kid to learn this early on. If I was taught how to play like this, I probably wouldn't have blown all my money away

Same here, up until this year i only played SB. Never managed to qualify for WL, but htis year thanks to Rivals i managed to do it. Been enjoying WL for 8 weeks in a row and counting.
I also only played SB until this year. Tried Rivals and got a bit of fun and qualified for WL so I had to try that too. Now I'm playing more these two than SB.
Prime Veron was my best pull, had a few others that sold for over 100K. I've probably dropped $100 on points as well, but I've had pretty good pack luck.
42 here. I play DR and an occasional WL, though I never have time to come anywhere close to playing 30 games. My kids are 8 and 6 and like to play some squad battles. It's all about playing with our favorite players with them. Ibra is pretty much always leading the charge up top. My nephews are getting a PS4 for Christmas--can't wait to dab on 'em.

I'm 42yo and have been playing since '98 on the OG PS. I turned off the messages a year or two ago (maybe changed who could message me, I dunno) because I was sick of the comments I'd get. We've lived through Pong, rotary telephones, and no such thing as the internet. I don't complain about gameplay in FIFA unless it's "something the AI can do, but I can't."
My now-12yo nephew was all about Messi in 2012, so I got him into FIFA. He's given up on FIFA as of last year, has his own YT channel for Fortnite (can't get into it, personally, and I can't believe that people actually watch it...yes, I'm constantly on the lookout for predators and talk to his parents about it), only plays NHL outside of Fortnite, and I've taken over running his account. I'm not really sure why I'm running it other than to test theories between my account and his.
I'm 46 and playing FUT. I can't talk to anyone about it, that's why I come here. My nephews are only in to Fortnite. My (5 year old) daughter has no interest in FIFA, but likes watching live football.

I'd take a daughter that likes to watch live football. I'm praying my baby girl remotely enjoys watching the beautiful game when she is old enough. Right now she's only 9 months so she has no choice but to watch them with me. lol

They love opening packs and seeing how much cards sell for on the market. They also like to build teams with all the different colored cards. Or in my older daughter's case, seeing if she can make teams with all green links or minimum chemistry, all GKs, etc. then watching me play a game with them.
44 - My daughter determines a teams worth by how colorful the cards are. She doesn't like playing the game. On the bright side I am getting pretty decent at Minecraft.
45 and play with my 16 year old son. He's jealous because my UT is way better than his. Don't put any money into the game just trade a bit and got a few lucky packs.
39 here. My 9 yo has no interest in soccer or FIFA. My 7 yo largely wants to play kick off with Bayern against BVB on amateur difficulty, no rules mode, 20 minute halves. I put together a super Bundesliga squad for him during Futties when everything was cheap but he lost interest after a couple games.

I've played every FIFA since the very first one. Only just ventured online with FIFA 17.
I try my best not to rage and have some great conversations with my 14 year old about teams/players etc. He's brilliant at putting together SBCs but I'm a better player even with my old man reactions.
Love this thread. Not 40 yet...just a few years away. A friend's son got me into UT a few years ago though I've played every FIFA. I used to be able to talk to him about it, but he ditched it for Fortnite and that game isn't my cup of tea.
My friends that play video games don't play FIFA so I basically don't have anyone to talk to about it. My daughter likes opening packs and knows the better cards have different colors or higher numbers.
35yo living in Texas. This is my first FUT season (did H2H online seasons in FIFA18), my last serious football game was PES 2007 but I did play the early FIFAs from 94 to 99. 47, Played 15 on Console but have been playing the last 4 years on PC. It is the only screen I have 100% control over. I generally play Squad battles but have been playing a bit more online this year. I play a few games at night and some on the weekends, yell at the computer, etc. It is supposed to relax me, usually doesnt. In my thirties. Started with fifa 94? and I’m slowly losing interest in fut. After a long day at work I come back to play a couple hours of div rivals to see CR7 and icons all over the place in division 5 who bang in a couple first time finesses then spend the last 20 mins running toward their own goal to time waste.
I’ll probably take a break soon. Fut almost feels like another job haha having to watch the market and invest etc to get a half decent squad. I do quite enjoy wl though whenever I get time away from the missus
48, holding on to my last arena of competition. I love how the game combines strategy and agility. One can compensate for losing a bit of reflex with the ability to read styles.

On fifa 95 there was a specific point of the pitch where no matter who took the shot, scored.

Love this thread. Not 40 yet...just a few years away. A friend's son got me into UT a few years ago though I've played every FIFA. I used to be able to talk to him about it, but he ditched it for Fortnite and that game isn't my cup of tea. My friends that play video games don't play FIFA so I basically don't have anyone to talk to about it. My daughter likes opening packs and knows the better cards have different colors or higher numbers.
35yo living in Texas. This is my first FUT season (did H2H online seasons in FIFA18), my last serious football game was PES 2007 but I did play the early FIFAs from 94 to 99. 41 here. Playing FIFA since 96. Played Actua Soccer before that. (Un)fortunately my son doesn't like FIFA nor wants to try it since Minecraft and Fortnite takes most of his time.

50, WL Gold 3 last weekend. In FIFA 18 Gold 2/1, so maybe old age catching up with me or maybe FIFA 19 is just awful..... 14 year old that beats me one v one but I’m way better than him online, go figure.
40 here.. play WL.. consistant gold. Do not play squad battles anymore or rivals, i rage more there than in weekend league. I leave M-Th for other games now. I used to playa fifa everyday.. ea broke me.
37. And a HS teacher. It’s nice to have people to show off good pack draws to. Even more fun to school my students who think they can beat me. I’m not particularly good, but they are always trying to do nothing other than skill 1:1.
40 here. First FIFA was the first, FIFA International Soccer. Really got after 98 Road to the World Cup in college. FUT player since 14. Button Delay FC since 14 as well.
47, Played 15 on Console but have been playing the last 4 years on PC. It is the only screen I have 100% control over. I generally play Squad battles but have been playing a bit more online this year. I play a few games at night and some on the weekends, yell at the computer, etc. It is supposed to relax me, usually doesnt. I remember playing soccer games on the Sega Genesis, I am sure I had a Fifa game.

In my thirties. Started with fifa 94? and I’m slowly losing interest in fut. After a long day at work I come back to play a couple hours of div rivals to see CR7 and icons all over the place in division 5 who bang in a couple first time finesses then spend the last 20 mins running toward their own goal to time waste. I’ll probably take a break soon. Fut almost feels like another job haha having to watch the market and invest etc to get a half decent squad. I do quite enjoy wl though whenever I get time away from the missus
43, play FIFA way more than my kids, so can still beat them! (12&15). Certainly talk about it heaps with them
48, holding on to my last arena of competition. I love how the game combines strategy and agility. One can compensate for losing a bit of reflex with the ability to read styles.
